Health visitor just rang me and says it might be a good idea to take Lewis to the doctors to get his tongue tie checked just incase it needs snipping , he's terrified of doctors/hospitals etc. We think it's from when he was in hospital on his 2nd birthday. He got into such a state when i told him i had to go into hospital to have Noah so god knows how he'll be if he has to go in

mustrunmore · 07/08/2009 17:00

ds2 went for jabs but dint have them; escaped due to the impetigo

no eppm, not playscheme. altho not heard from him yet so not even sure if happening now

EachPeachPearMum · 07/08/2009 19:09

hmmm.... gym teaching? Creche at gym? erm... manning a campsite office?

csws- yeah, coconut seems weird... but he has had major flare-ups every time I have had coconut (even liquorice allsorts!!!) so I can only guess at that.
We have found a waitrose bread that has rice flour rather than soya flour... its a wholemeal one... but he hasn't tried bread yet anyway.

Today he had green beans, potato and cucumber- loved them all!

DD had her boosters last month, she was fine in herself but one of her legs went massively red and hot for a couple of days. She was quite funny though- after the first one, the nurse went to do the other one, and she hopped off my knee and said "I don't think I'll have another one, thank you"

We missed her assessment though as it was during schooltime I'm sure if there were any issues 2 different nurseries might have picked up on it though...

Phoenix- sorry to hear about DS1 and tongue-tie... it's not as simple to snip when they're older Can't believe DS2 is 4 weeks though

Flamesparrow · 07/08/2009 19:14

Meridian can't have broccoli or sage... makes coconut seem positively normal

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 07/08/2009 20:51

broccoli???? weird! Those yanks, eh?

mustrunmore · 07/08/2009 21:10

broccoli??!!!

nope, no gym (I wish!) no campsite.

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/08/2009 21:14

ffs mrm - just bloody tell us!

You don't have to stay off soya as well then EPPM? I guess that's not quite so bad then.

Frizbe · 07/08/2009 21:59

Meri's only been allergic to broccoli, sage and bananas that are uncooked! since having her ds kinda like I've only been allergic to hazelnuts since having dd1 so unfair I love fruit and nut....

MRM what is it then, come on!

EPPM hugs for the allergies they're not nice.

Wonder if anyone will contact me about assessments for dd2?
Hope ds1 gets his tongue tie sorted soon Phoenix, you've got me wondering if dd2's is sorted, as she has trouble with the odd word...I thought it had just snapped/torn of its own accord, but maybe not? will see....she got a good pre school report today though

Ah dh has just found his Reeses Peanut Butter Cups from Shakeaway on Tue dd1 has started her scrap book for school hols today (as perscribed by school) and has filled it with Flames dd related things! bless her for worrying about Meris dh not knowing house number.

CSWS is your dh working again now?

Jas, hows FIL today?

Jas · 07/08/2009 22:05

My mum is allergic to bananas. She almost had her appendix removed, but someone realised it was actually banana related, not appendicitis!

mrm- Just tell us!
I refuse to guess.

I got a letter informing me 3 1/4 yr checks aren't being done, and to see the h/v if I am worried.
I'm not.

@ tongue tie. I hope it can be sorted out soon.

FIL.....not sure. DP rang and said he's ok, but when I asked for more details he admitted he couldn't say due t the oxygen mask.....
Hopefully visiting tomorrow.

EachPeachPearMum · 07/08/2009 22:56

csws? I am not having soya, no (at least where I have noticed)
The bread is Waitrose's own Stoneground Wholemeal (sliced) btw, should you ever need to know.

mustrunmore · 09/08/2009 08:58

Ok, so I've only got 2 days work not 2 weeks but like Jas said, its better than nothing . And my friend is having ds2 for the 2 days so its a no stress time with ds1 who will take hias own stuff to do. Thats does now once again leave us free on WEd Jas? I cant remember if you'd found something else to do? No prob if so.

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/08/2009 20:28

You still haven't told us what the work is .

Sold my first e-bay item now mrm. Went for £20.99 .

mustrunmore · 09/08/2009 20:37

Ok, I'm really ... weighed myself... in the month or so that I had ds1 ill theb ds2 ill then dh not giving me trasininig time then we went away, I've put on 10lbs But hurray, at least I'm getting as much free personal trraininig at the gym as I can find childcare for!!! I am, a guinea pig

Ok, I told you its all gonna be an anti climaax,,, work is at the tattoo studio . Not the soho one, but the close one, the guy thats in business with the sohoh one too, except the latter had now pulled out, but thats a diff story. Bascially receptionist while he is off on compasionate leave, so he doesnt lose clients.

EachPeachPearMum · 09/08/2009 20:59

well done csws!

mrm-so you are being the reception lady... rather than using the needles? You can take the children?

DS' eczema is flaring up all over the place his skin is an utter mess atm...

Jas · 09/08/2009 22:23

I hope it wasn't your table csws!

Also surprised you're allowed to take ds to tattoo place....if the guy is on comp leave will there be no tattooing going on?
mrm - I am going to be at GPM wednesday, and you are welcome to come in on my ticket. You'll need to ring me when you are nearly there (after 12) so I can get you in.

EPPM. No idea what is causing it then?

The wheel fell off my buggy this afternoon (I was using it to d the shopping - ds was at home)
DP went and got me another one at the car boot though. I can't do all day out without it. I would lose ds, or break my back carrying him. And it is handy for the shopping now we are carless. I am refusing to drive dps van as it has a dodgy clutch.

Frizbe · 09/08/2009 22:54

Coor what was the item CSWS?
I've given up selling clothes on there, as they weren't fetching much at all....

That was going to me my next guess MRM yay for two days work.

Jas, wheel fell off well at least you managed to get another one quickly

Have been mainly doing jobs about the house and garden here today, then got every one to bed for 7pm, including dh, who is feeling poorly in a drained way for the last few days.....so I got to go and lie in the garden with my book and a coffee for the remainder of this lovely sunny evening oh the peace was so nice!

GrumpyStalker · 09/08/2009 23:10

I already knew the job

Bump is insanely tight tonight - can't get comfy.

I came upstairs to find DS curled up in that baby bum in the air way, right at the top of the stairs. He played up all bedtime, obv got sick of being put back to bed, so decided to get up but not actually come down.

Forgotten everything else.

GrumpyStalker · 09/08/2009 23:10

Oh... should prob change my name back

mustrunmore · 10/08/2009 08:54

Thought it was a cot mobile or something?

Yep, no tattooing cos he's off, but I'm taking deposits etc. And have to fix prices;eek! ds1 taking drawinhg stuff and books and a packed lunch. Today full day, tomo picked up at 3 to go a party... hurray, I gget out of attending a macd's party

Jas, you still got the same mobile number? Do you ned to email it to me just in case? I think we prob will come!

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/08/2009 16:10

mrm - you free on 27th Sept to come and do a car boot sale with me? Dh won't help so I need someone to help me sell.

And what date's your break in Southend? Are you busy whilst there? If it's nice weather and you're just beaching then I'd be very tempted to bring the kids for a day trip.

EachPeachPearMum · 10/08/2009 19:41

Well- DS saw GP this morning and we have a referral to a dermatologist. He also has a brand new tooth!

DS had friends over to play today and was an utter brat I was so she was being vile... even threw her pasta onto the table at lunchtime
Thankfully their mum is v laidback and has seen it all before!

Ummm the thread's about to die!

Flamesparrow · 10/08/2009 19:46

No no, don't die!!!

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 10/08/2009 19:47

ta da!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 10/08/2009 20:55

27th I'm doing a 10km charity run, or the 3hr aerobics, cant remember which. But I'd desperately love to do a car boot with you, can you change the day?! Please?!

Southend I htink dh is planning it to be a real family thing, as its only our second family holiday. We were thinking beach and explore the first afternoon, funnfair the second day, sealife and beach the third day, then mill around more before the trasin home the fourth day. All weather dependent . At least using clubcard for fair bands, so only costing 25% of price, and sealife is free. We've got a couple of days free next week if you have though? Think Mon Tues Wed all free at the moment.

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/08/2009 21:06

We'll be at my parents next week. 27th was picked (despite it being dh's b'day) as friends are also going to do it that day as their parents are staying so can do childcare for them.
