Doh! completely forgot to say Phoenix- elcs is SO much better than emcs
It is a bit weird going off to the hospital not in labour though... but the control...

Jas · 02/07/2009 22:40

It must be very odd knowing for certain when you are going to get to meet your baby. If you go into labour before Friday what happens? Do you try for a vbac or get an emergency cs?

for your friend Phoenix.

Flame - no antenatal sounds sensible to me, not odd at all.

I am having a bad day. Thankfully dp is no longer spending time in the pub and so is here t help with bed times. I am so sick of not having an evening to myself...

DS has done the book ripping thing again, which really bothers me.
DD2 wants to talk about the possibility of being wiped out by a meteorite at 10pm.
DD1 is dropping/spilling generally making a mess of everything she touches atm.

I have no patience left at all.

Jas · 02/07/2009 23:42

Finally they are all asleep.

EachPeachPearMum · 03/07/2009 07:21

What a night Jas!
poor ds is melting when I feed him... its so sticky here .... has just started raining though- hoorah!

Jas · 03/07/2009 07:25

We had thunder storms in the night.

I'm hoping for a better day today

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/07/2009 11:33

Gosh that all sounds very tedious Jas. I am enjoying having decent evenings, even if I have to get up too early in the mornings (not absurdly early, but 6ish).

Dh hasn't started work yet EPPM. He got a 'statement of works' through this morning though, which makes it appear as though he will begin on 15th (phew - dd's school show is on 14th!).

Am all excited for you Phoenix!

Is an anti-cat device a dog?

EachPeachPearMum · 03/07/2009 11:59

I hope not csws... dread to think where I'd have to put the batteries

Just back from gps- ds' impetigo isn't clearing up at all... trying different cream. How long did ds' take to go csws?

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/07/2009 12:53

Ds had antibiotics, not cream. Only took a couple of days to be on way out.

EachPeachPearMum · 03/07/2009 14:05

hmmm... gp looked a bit surprised too... been a week now, barely any improvement (abs and cream)

Frizbe · 03/07/2009 22:13

Oh poor ds EPPM, hope the new batch fixes him.... at dog (yes I've dug one up and stuck it in the shed!) anti cat device, is an annoying noise at cat and it turns out teenage frequency on a stick that you put in your garden, I guess the same things they sell as anti teenager devices, due to ss being able to hear it and whinge about it (not any more though) you're welcome to it, if you want it, it has a range of our smallish garden, so should do the trick, email me your address again and I'll dhl it to you next week.

Jas, glad they finally went to sleep for you sorry they're all being a pain before hand though.

We got rain today and it felt quite cold when I was waiting for ss in his playground, luckily it just stopped raining when it was time for me to collect him (dh apparently got soaked fetching dd1 here) but by time I got back it was sunny again!

I've forgotten now

Frizbe · 04/07/2009 19:05

Looney

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/07/2009 20:01

Dd been pony riding for first time today . She LOVED it. A few pics on fb, and just uploading a couple of bits of video now too.

thell · 04/07/2009 20:50

How cute!
We tell DD stories about her riding a flying horse (not very elaborate stories - they ride off and do fairly mundane activities like going to park / beach / sainsbury's), so would be afraid she would definitely want one if she were allowed to get the taste for it

thell · 04/07/2009 20:51

Flame

Frizbe · 05/07/2009 10:35

Oooh a pony convert how fab! well that's the next 13 years of birthdays and christmas' sorted out, until she finds boys or booze and you're just down the road from the stables as well, good location! (re-lives horsey childhood memories)

Off to Meri's in a moment here for some crafting and the kids were to play, but I've just seen on twitter than her ds is off out with his grandad??? so maybe not then?

TheFool · 05/07/2009 11:44

B completely freaked out when we put just a riding helmet on her

Lol @ your plans Frizbe, doesn't sound like she has the same day planned as you

B has a gym display today - being jumped over apparently

Frizbe · 05/07/2009 21:54

Flame, I tell you her head is all over the place recently! we did manage crafting and lunch, with her and her ds, when his grandad eventually delivered him back though!

TheFool · 05/07/2009 22:05

what she needs is more coffee

Gym display went well (as did the jumping). Unfortunately though when you child's 3 min routine is the first bloody one, a 2 hour thing gets dull fast

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/07/2009 22:35

You're offline now flame, but just seen your message. Yes, sometime after 8th August. Let me know when you can do after that.

TheFool · 06/07/2009 08:21

Yay we'll sort something

EachPeachPearMum · 06/07/2009 21:03

Hope everyone is fine... nothing much going on here...

Frizbe · 06/07/2009 21:50

Nothing much here either, had lovely day off work, getting some me things done! have finished one book and read a whole other one have written a short fiction and submitted it to a competition as well won't win 'owt mind, but the exercise was a good thing to do. Loki is having a mad half hour, guess I should go and wave a fake mouse at him or something!
