Ds has wet himself twice today for no apparant reason. He's going to go all wrong when the baby comes isn't he? . I really didn't expect him to do that as he wouldn't do a wee in his night time pull up the other week until he got in bed, he said it felt funny doing it and now he's doing it in his pants.

Awwww for kitten Friz, put a picture of him on

Ouch for dd's nose Thell.

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/06/2009 22:24

He quite probably is Phoenix, yes. Better to be prepared and all that. Dd started wetting herself (though not at night interestingly) when ds arrived, but she's grown out of it now! It is very common.

EachPeachPearMum · 30/06/2009 02:49

Phoenix- I really feel for you in this heat- hope you're not too uncomfortable...
Ooh- am quite excited for you- you;re going to have a baybee Oh and he'll be all curled up and have tiny little eyes all screwed shut, and little fists, oh they get big tooooo soon, and so quickly my leetle baby is just so not little anymore

I was never one for babies, but DS has been such a lovely little chap...
Thell- that sounds horrible poor girl... they forget so quickly- it's us who are more scarred by it I think!

TheFool · 30/06/2009 08:03

Loki is perfect

DS is randomly wetting himself lately too.

Forgotten everything else. I want a memory again!

Jas · 30/06/2009 08:31

ds has never actually stopped randomly wetting himself

thell · 30/06/2009 11:04

Loki is a fantastic name

DD is absolutely fine again - thanks for all the sympathies! Took her to the doc yesterday just to be absolutely sure everything was ok, and of course it was. Nice shade of yellowy-green coming out now.
How is B's eye, Flame? Did the bruise come out really dark?

It's quite reassuring to hear some of the other lovelies are occasionally unreliable toilet-wise too. DD definitely has phases of it.

Phoenix, you're right, DS might go a bit wobbly - at the day nursery I worked at we had lots of accidents develop when siblings were born, but the good news is the older they are the better they seem to cope (ie 3 is easier than 2). And it will pass. At least it's summer! [cheerful grin of solidarity]

TheFool · 30/06/2009 14:04

Jas

THELL - I knew that there was someone I kept meaning to reply to both for periodness and for the bruisedness

B's eye is looking a lot better today

mine is going to regress in winter!!

Phoenix · 30/06/2009 19:49

No pants wetting today

Just had a curry for tea wasn't mega hot though so i don't expect it to put me into labour

EachPeachPearMum · 30/06/2009 19:49

If it's any consolation Flame, DD hasn't! She even started being dry at night- the only hiccup was when she had that infection, and flameboy will be older, therefore more bribeable wiser honest!

Jas · 30/06/2009 21:43

Sorry, not replying properly, I am sooo tired lately I can not concentrate on anything at all.

I am checking in daily so I don't miss Phoenix' ds arrival though.

mustrunmore · 01/07/2009 09:14

Loki is great!

EachPeachPearMum · 01/07/2009 22:08

So mrm... who did Bob Monkhouse catch you snogging????

Phoenix · 01/07/2009 22:35

We had a stillborn baby on my antenatal thread. It really hits home what can go wrong. Its so unimagineable. I can't wait til my little man is here and safe I'm at the hospital tomorrow where i think they are attempting a sweep, hopefully they can and it will start something.

How are you mrm?

Jas - you won't miss it. I'll try get dh to post on here or i will be able to facebook from hospital on my phone . Hope you're doing ok.

Ds has had no more pant wetting and strangely enough his nappy was completely dry when he got up this morning

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/07/2009 22:49

Phoenix.
You have 7 minutes to beat to get your birth announcement on here .

DD thought it would be fun to crouch down over the paddling pool and wee in it this afternoon. Yesterday it was on the patio.

Phoenix · 01/07/2009 22:52

Don't think i'll beat that.

EachPeachPearMum · 02/07/2009 02:26

I saw that Phoenix . I cannot imagine how painful it must be for her and her family, and how worrying for those of you left to go...

ds' nappy was probably dry because he sweated it all out...

TheFool · 02/07/2009 08:13

Phoenix. (Is it just me who still always wants to put PG?)

I have pretty much given up on my antenatal thread. I'm not feeling desperately pregnant (apart from the alien type movements). Tis nice, I've never had a pregnancy where I feel like "me" but at the same time I have my friends on here in various different threads, and rl friends etc, I haven't got the energy to have another group, and I feel quite happy with the friends I have got. Does that make me odd? I doubt they are missing out on much by not having me

Yay for yours not regressing EPPM.

I have put on weight on my thighs. JUST my thighs it seems. Walked up from the beach still slightly sandy and it rubbed I am all sore and 'orrible now, and I can't even wear my shorts to protect them a bit as they aren't dry yet.

Intrigued about bob monkhouse...

EachPeachPearMum · 02/07/2009 10:18

It's not odd Flame... wasn't it Soupy who just had the baby without any prelims...? (and Aitch was going to too...)
You have more than enough people to chat to, and you know where to get help when you need it

Phoenix · 02/07/2009 17:33

I will be having elective c-section next Friday

Phoenix · 02/07/2009 17:34

Oh and ds had another dry night

EachPeachPearMum · 02/07/2009 20:10

Is this due to GD? How many weeks are you
Is that 39 weeks?

7 more days of 1 DC.... eek! yay for dry night too.

Oof- it's too hot- so humid- no breeze whatsoever. For some reason they decided to re-tar all the pavements by our house today didn't warn anyone mind you... so DS and I were stuck in the house (no way was I pushing the pram through that gloop)
Flaming taxis were parking on the pavement before it was dry though so we have nasty tyre marks all along our block

Now I have to go and clear the cat poo from the garden as some new cat seems to have moved in and is treating our garden as its litter tray bin night tonight thank goodness... am very cross about it- I wanted to sit on the lawn with DS and play.

Phoenix · 02/07/2009 20:28

Yes i'll be 39 weeks next Friday. They're delivering him early due to his size and i asked for a section with having one last time.

He booked the section 3 wks ago but i agreed to possibly been induced at 38wks but without prostin.

They examined me today and said cervix is soft but closed so breaking waters isn't an option. They said it was up to me now wether they attempt an induction with prostin gel or just go for the section, so i'm having the section

Frizbe · 02/07/2009 20:28

for elective next friday, you can't beat knowing what's happening when obviously if nothing kicks off 1st, what with all this heat, phew scorcher here today!
Dd1 regressed here with the weeing a bit when dd2 was born, but it wasn't for long, that been said dd2 was all over the place with it all again last week, but I'm sure she's grown again, so wonder if she was concentrating on something else?
for your friend.

Glad you all like Loki as a name, he's a little love, I'll put a photo on facebook, as I can never get them to load on here? 'dim emoticon'

MRM what's with the Bob Monkhouse thing?

CSWS re dd, is she doing it for attention?

Sorry not been on much this week, have been busy with work, we were in Alton, Hamps yesterday for a meeting, thankfully in an airconditioned building! then got back to work today and had totally forgotten that we had a work experience person in, so had to sort that out on the hop! oopse

Frizbe · 02/07/2009 20:30

EPPM I have a redundant anti cat device in the shed if you want me to send it to you? takes batteries! I got it when we had the same problem, now of course we have the moggy to annoy other people again instead!

EachPeachPearMum · 02/07/2009 21:00

That sounds good actually Frizbe- do they actually work?
Do you need to worry about the radius? Next door have 2 cats but I know it isn't them as they have a litter tray by their door, and they like to sun themselves in our garden (gets better sun)- in fact I think that's why the new cat has done it- because the places I found poo were places where next door cats like to sleep- which is just mean and nasty if you ask me!

CSWS- how is it going with DH working?
