Oh dear.
Do you know how he got out Jas?

EachPeachPearMum · 02/06/2009 19:56

Yes- the fences with the viewholes in so he can see out- which is why he climbs in the first place...

Jas · 02/06/2009 21:38

Ah, the problem is he is more of an opportunist runner. I can keep him safe when we are out (reins/buggy), or all in (door and gate combined) but the combo of sunshine, dds playing out, dp working and carting wood through the house meant the door is left open and I am relying on everyone to keep the gate shut. Someone didn't.

Still not sure what I can do unless I stand guard when dp is working or the dds are letting friends in and out.

Have you all started a new thread and forgot to tell me?

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/06/2009 21:32

How is your food/gd going phoenix?

Phoenix · 04/06/2009 22:20

I'm getting rather p**sed off with not been able to eat what i want but am still doing ok. My little treat i have found is nutella I've been having it on toast for brekkie and on rich tea biscuits after my evening meal sometimes

EachPeachPearMum · 04/06/2009 22:27

Nutella is low GI? wow!
Yeah... I have no idea how you are managing tbh- hats off to you... I am eating my weight in food each day atm... am always so hungry though [grr]

What is your due date... not long left now?

Phoenix · 04/06/2009 22:30

Well my blood level has been ok so i guess so.

I'm due 6wks tomorrow (July 17th) but really hope it will be less than that. I'm at the hospital next Thursday so may find out if they will deliver early or not.

Phoenix · 04/06/2009 22:32

I have no idea how csws does it with dairy after going through gd as well.

I've got a huge bump pic on my profile.

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/06/2009 22:41

Nutella and biscuits - fark me - I couldn't have eaten any of that without my blood sugar soaring! Ah well, I only had to do it from 17 weeks to 41 weeks .

Friends are going to try and convince me tomorrow to do slimming world again at the same time as being dairy free .

Must go to bed.

Phoenix · 04/06/2009 22:45

I've only been doing it 6wks so far. I didn't realise you had it from 17wks. How much did your ds weigh when he was born?

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/06/2009 22:47

8 lbs 4 oz (dd was 9 lbs)

Phoenix · 04/06/2009 22:53

So he was quite small then? Especially with gd, but i suppose that's down to you sticking to the diet . Ds1 was 9lb 2oz and at last measurment with ds2 i was 38cm at 32 weeks I know the measurments don't mean too much though

EachPeachPearMum · 04/06/2009 22:54

Wow he's going to be here soon... that has gone SO quickly!

Phoenix · 04/06/2009 23:00

I'm pretty sure he's trying to kick his way out right now

Flamesparrow · 06/06/2009 18:42

You know I've read all that and not digested a bit of it, I think I have travel bleurgh.

Will pootle off and look at Flames scan and Phoenixs bump properly, tried to look at flames scan on phone and it left dh and I bickering about what we could see, so need the big version!

Jas, hmmmmm, huge pain about ds doing a runner from the garden/gate area, sounds like you may need to lock the gate and insist on someone being gate keeper which is a pita to do when the girls have been so good....I'm likeing CSWS's trolley idea, I reckon she need to patent that one fast!

Anyway I'm back!
Had a lovely time, though am now debating how much Keycamp caravan will cost next year, as wasn't a sole siblu site, so got to see better vans from other companies Eurocamp and Keycamp seemed better, but they could be lots more expensive! Had lovely time and will be going back to same site, highly recommend it. Major plus was sloping pools, so no random out of depthness for kids and lots of great play parks on site too was that good, we didn't use a kids club once even! (there was more than one too!) Also for those of you still debating cars out there, have spent week whizzing round in lovely Toyota Corrola Verso and WANT ONE! got back into the Picasso, put my foot down and went nowhere Toyota has soo much more vavooom! (and probably costs so much more to buy too as a down side....)
