Enjoy Friz

Glad the scan went well Flame

It's our 5yr wedding anniversary today, dh has been in bed nearly all day (on nights) and sodded off to the pub for someone at work's leaving drink at 5pm then went straight to work so not seen much of him .

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/05/2009 21:27

Hope you've all been enjoying the weather today.... we have.

DS starting to grizzle with gums... what fun

mrm are you okay?
and where is Jas?

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/05/2009 21:34

We've been enjoying it having BBQ here with friends.

I think that Jas must have hammered her fingers whilst destroying the old bathroom, and thus is unable to type.

mrm is just busy busy busy (too busy even to meet up with me this week)!

Phoenix · 30/05/2009 21:34

Oh yeah, love it.....not. Sun and pregnancy don't mix IMO

Hope ds doesn't suffer too much with his teeth

Phoenix · 30/05/2009 21:35

X-posts, hi csws

Jas · 30/05/2009 21:54

I'm lurking but I lost you off my threads I'm on.

Lots of work going on in the house. I'm busy busy busy, too. Today was supposed to be a quiet day out, and ended up with every kid in the street in the garden in the big paddling pool. I'm not good in the sun and now have a head ache.

DS is either an angel or total nightmare -destroyer of all he surveys atm. Very wearing. I will be glad when they go back to school

Oh, and I am now carless. The Jag has been sold.

Phoenix · 30/05/2009 22:00

Evening Jas

Speaking of cars, EPPM did you ever get a Picasso?

EachPeachPearMum · 30/05/2009 22:35

Sun and bf don't mix too well either... extra fluid means bigger norks (well- feel more full anyway) and so sweaty [blee]

Ummm... we haven't really sorted out the car situation yet DH did actually mention it today because the car was roasting when we got into it, and the picassos have A/C... maybe we'll do it soon [procrastinating emoticon]

Flamesparrow · 31/05/2009 19:50

Burnt DS

Scan pics of "Babygus" (what DS is calling the baby) should now be on profile.

I seem to be at the nice stage atm of not feeling too hot with the bump.

for carless

They are really clear pictures Flame. Love 'BabyGus'

I burnt my legs today but it was my own stupid fault because they are so white i wanted a bit of colour on them and didn't bother with suncream

Ds was up at 5am today. We went to a few car boot sales then to PIL for a bit and then spent the afternoon in the garden with ds in his paddling pool. He fell asleep on the sofa at about 3.40 so is still up and wide awake.

Jas · 31/05/2009 22:23

Lovely scan pics Flame.

DD1 has burnt feet. We were outside all day again and she forgot to put cream on them as she thought she was wearing trainers

Potty training this week has been a fair success. Not completely done, but good enough to go out without a nappy on and only one change of clothes!

All I need to do now is persuade him to wear pants and trousers....he is either in pants only or commando boy.

Dp reckons the new bedroom will get a floor tomorrow

ChasingSquirrels · 31/05/2009 22:26

wow Flame, I rarely come on this thread (can't keep up) and didn't know from the rest of MN that you are PG - CONGRATULATIONS.

EachPeachPearMum · 31/05/2009 22:35

what a clear picture flame!

boo for all the burnt people.

well done Jas' ds for potty training. DD found it easier without trousers too.

Hi CS- hope you and DSs are well

Back to nursery school tomorrow... thank goodness- for DS's sake- he hasn't had any much attention the past week

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/06/2009 21:01

CS - you'd have no problem keeping up with us at the moment, as we've suddenly all started posting far less.

Great pic flame. I rather like Augustus for a boy.

Am also glad that school is back this week EPPM.

Did I mention that ds can now crawl v slowly?

Jas · 01/06/2009 21:28

Lost ds again this evening
Fund him on the school playing fields.

I have no idea what to do to keep the child safe

Flamesparrow · 01/06/2009 22:24

makes the dude's climbing seem completely risk free in comparison. How far away is the school??

for crawling baby!!!

Find me a Welsh Gus name and it will be considered!

to CS

Jas - DS is completely potty trained and he spends his life either in just pants or naked Tried desperately to keep clothes on him today so his shoulders could stay out of the sun, but no, he found an excuse to strip

Preschool back tomorrow, might brave the beach with him in the morning.

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 01/06/2009 23:34

for crawling csws

jas. I cannot imagine how scary it is for you.

shouldn;t it be Gys then?

Jas · 02/06/2009 10:00

Also @ crawling.

School is close, but it involves crossing quiet road, foot bridge over the brook and overgrown path with nettles. He was naked, and none of this stopped him.

I'm feeling quite anxious about it at the moment, as I have no idea how to stop him.

Nursery today, and I left him crying Him, not me!

EachPeachPearMum · 02/06/2009 10:27

Oh Jas - I thought you meant he ran off when you were collecting dds...
Can you put a bolt high up inside the front door? or does he go out the back?

Flamesparrow · 02/06/2009 13:30

Is JimJams still about? Or if she is "about" places where CSWS might see her could she be sent back here? I am fairly sure it was her son that was an escapist - she might have tips?

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 02/06/2009 14:28

She still posts on here... has a longname like jimjamswasyurtsomething atm I think...
Look on SN board?

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/06/2009 16:08

It's VVVQV who has escape artist son, not jimjams (afaik, though maybe she has one too!). I think that they would be able to offer empathy more than actual suggestions. QV's ds actually got knocked by a car a few weeks ago when he had run off (going slow in car park thankfully).

I wonder if there's any way to attach those trolley keepers/bike stopper things to a child .

Flamesparrow · 02/06/2009 16:11

JimJam's is an autistic escape artist - he likes looking over things so she had special fences built etc
