www.notonthehighstreet.com/basket
would this be right

moosemama · 13/03/2009 09:47

Names didn't come up on the link Tink I was confused as well. Got DH to do it. You could click the 'ask seller a question' button and check with them directly.

moosemama · 13/03/2009 09:54

I think its:

  1. Choose your chain.
  2. Fill in the first name.
  3. Choose a shaped charm from the next drop down box if you want one.
  4. Select 'extra name charm' from the next drop down box.
  5. Enter the second name under 'details of additional charm'.

dog here's a huge squeeze. Hopefully it is just a horrid day and will soon be behind you. Anyone in RL you can get hold of who can help you out/ make you a cup of tea and make you smile?
If not, how about just getting out of the house - when ds is being an arse somehow a blast of fresh air can help, and of course you can get yourself a lush bar of choc while you're at it...

moosemama · 13/03/2009 13:57

Oh Dog. Friday the 13th? You go ahead and vent. My boys were horrible when they came home from school yesterday, just because I felt too poorly to cope. I think kids have a sixth sense for when Mummy's not in control and take full advantage of it. What's the weather like round your way? Could you get out for a bit? I usually find if I get outside, even just up to the end of the road and back, I feel more grounded and better able to cope afterwards.

I know just how you feel about the alarm it's really scary. Elizabeth's has only gone off once when she was in a deep sleep and it really upset me even though she roused quickly. Did the loud alarm go off or just the warning and tickler? Elizabeth's has gone off a couple of times when it has been pushed aside by her car seat straps or clothing but that's not the same, as then you can see she is fine just by looking at her. We are so grateful to you for telling us about the monitor, we didn't even know they existed before.

moosemama · 13/03/2009 14:00

Oooh yes Chocolate! Definitely get hold of some chocolate.

I was reading yesterday how it releases/raises the same hormones as sex and has a similar effect to antidepressants.

Congratulations HKZ - your sil website looks great! let me know if you need any diamonds to go in the ring....

rray (and anyone else getting married from my online friends!) I'll happily sort out some bridesmaid gifts with wedding rings!

moosemama · 13/03/2009 18:18

Dog Elizabeth had one of the NHS alarms when she was taken into hospital, the box was hand held but it still had to be taped to her tummy using surgical tape and then carried around everywhere with her - was a right pita during nappy changes.

It does shake you up when it goes off and its not a false alarm, but I try to remind myself that the consultant said all babies go into that deep sleep state sometimes and if you don't have a monitor they just take a breath and carry on without you ever knowing about it. I prefer to think about that rather than the alternative iyswim. I don't think I'd retain my sanity for long if I started to dwell on it.

Bearing in mind your club rules and seeing as I wanted to be supportive, I have just eaten some chocolate on your behalf so that you can feel saintly and thin while I am a lardy sinner!

Tink yes its a bright green dragon outfit with red spikes all the way down the back and down its tail, red satin wings, a black and gold scale effect stomach and a full headdress with red and gold spikes! His little face complete with glasses peeks out through the dragon's mouth! My sister bought it for him a couple of years ago and I put it away because it was too big for him - he only rediscovered it last night whilst hunting in his wardrobe for some pyjamas to wear to school!

No problem Dog - anytime you need someone to eat chocolate for you - just call on me - always willing to help.

Seriously though, glad you are feeling better and have made up with DP.

The most weight I ever lost was on a day off diet where I was strict in the week but could sin on one day at the weekend. It worked a treat and after a few weeks I wasn't even that interested in sinning because just knowing I could have something took away the craving.

The weekend starts here!

treedelivery · 13/03/2009 20:08

Yay weekend!!

On my knees so needing it!! AM very glad your day has got better Dog, well done for getting through it. And you Moose, hopefully are feeling better?
Morbid dreams a big fat pita - I have bonkers ones of leaving the babies in the car or dropping them out windows etc. Usually I wake up and realise I need a wee. There must be easier ways?

treedelivery · 13/03/2009 20:15

btw - we have this sleeping thig for Hariet. It's like a drawer really, that goes between you and dp [no it's not marketed as contraception but is dual role] and she sleeps in that, free of pillow/duvet/squashed worries, and we sleep right next to her which she seems to feel is a compromise. TK max £30
www.babycurls.co.uk/snugglenests_1036.php?gclid=CNS_ssjboJkCFQkSzAodb3EdqA
Im obsessed about safe sleeping and I couldn't see a problem with it in comparison to me falling asleep with H on the boob in bed with me - I'm too deep a sleeper to be safe.

Tink - Yay spending!! You must post pics of purchase when it arrives.

treedelivery · 13/03/2009 20:27

BTW - AGAIN!!
DH has a job!!! Woo Hooo.

You may remeber his totally nightmarish redunadancy end of Nov with no warning or pay etc? We have work. Its a mare of a commute for less money and he'll never be home. But we need the money and any job is a job around these parts, even 40 miles away. Only 19-20K but it's something. And after that heartache and worry we've had, it kicks ass. We won't loose our house and I can have more mat leave.

Yay for job Tree!

Must stop watching Comic Relief, it keeps making me cry!

treedelivery · 13/03/2009 21:24

Have cried lots today - few posts on mumsnet, the job, bubbs bellyache, stressed out dd1 and her little worries, how beautiful my babies are, it goes on.

Ah the winding road of life. And big fat hormones.

missjackson · 13/03/2009 22:01

tree, mm and dog, sounds like you've had an emotional day between the three of you! You know, when the horrid couple were rude about my breastfeeding the other day, one of the first things I thought was that I couldn't wait to share it with the thread as I knew you'd all be so supportive. Sometimes my DH teases me about my 'online friends' but I say yey for Mumsnet and the fab Jan 09 thread!

Off to London tomorrow for a week - DH is away in Germany for an exhibition so I am going to stay with my sister - a bit nervous about coping alone for the first time! But first hurdle will be managing to pack the car without DH around to look after LO - I have so much stuff now that I have a baby - monitor, pump, steriliser etc - unfortunately my swing is too large to take!

Am also selling my 2 door Honda civic while there for a more practical 4 door but not sure what yet. Maybe Honda CRV, a bit 4-wheely which would be useful around here!

treedelivery · 13/03/2009 22:11

Your second hurdle will be where to go shopping first. What an excuse too - you will be needing clothes now your not pregnant anymore. Yay!

Oh I'd love to be near London, or in London and totally loaded. Would have to be for all the shopping I'd do. I want to go to Green kids and a shop that sells real nappies by the truck load.

stripeywoollenhat · 13/03/2009 23:08

tree - have just bought one of the sleeping things, co-sleeping in a worried way at my house and i think this will set my mind to rest.... if the infanta will deign to sleep in it, of course - she's a bit sniffy about all sleeping arrangements that don't involve a lap...

congrats to all you marrying ladies - i hope you all have thoroughly enjoyable, non-stressy prep... dp and i had a very low key civil partnership - i hesitate to even call it a ceremony - at the british embassy here a couple of years ago. our friends are all still pissed off about our failure to have a party (we have promised them one when the partnership is legally recognised here though....)
