Girl, I reckon, due to heinous morning sickness. How did it go AM? Hope you have a lovely holiday.
LG&T, I don't know how you manage without a cleaner. It must take you all day just to do the laundry. Your tooth shouldn't still be hurting that much. (I have had two wisdom extractions, one out as an emergency, and the other three under sedation.) I would call the dentist and ask for advice, in case there might be an infection.
CONGRATULATIONS Pink! You can't get a false positive, only a false negative.
Lydle, sorry for your troubles. Its sounds like you have a lot on your plate. I hope things start to look up soon.
SKY, you need some time off! Getting out of the house and away from the children may help, but it brings its own stresses too.
When is your GP back MrsJB? Is it today?
DH has had a couple of interesting interviews. One of them was pretty informal, but with a very big institution so things are not all bad. It's a little more hopeful he can get his employers for unfair dismissal. Or better, can frighten them into paying him off. They've basically made up reasons to make him redundant and he has plenty of email evidence to contradict them. Fingers crossed.
TMAM, well done on your running. I did 10 miles by mistake the other week. That is, I was supposed to do 9, got lost on Hampstead Heath and had done 10 by the time I got home. That puts me a couple of weeks ahead on the mileage build up, so I'm going to focus on speed (in the loosest possible sense) for the next few weeks. I managed 7 last night at an average pace of 10.40, but I did about 4 of those under 9.30. Couldn't do any further as was still suffering the effects of my 5am end to Friday night and started getting light headed. Oops. I'm hoping to do the half marathon at about 10.30 pace. DH is doing a 5k in a few weeks and training for sub-20 minutes. (FFS). I can't even do one mile at that pace.
DD1 is home from school with tonsillitis and hogging the telly. I've already endured Sweeney Todd this morning. A bit too much gore for pre-lunch I reckon. I took her to the doctor this morning to get anti-biotics and blardy fell down the steps outside the surgery. Wasn't going to say anything to them, but realised that if I'd been elderly, I would have broken my hip. They have these visibilty strips on the edge of the steps, which apparently become highly slippery in the rain. I have a bruised arse and elbow (and ego) and grazed wrist for my troubles.
