sazzles. Have been ignoring all of your and TS's comments about impending holiday. I am off to Paris next week, but it is to stay with the ILs. Therefore, clearly does not count.

Hi No1!

LOL at the security firm dizzy. Rubbish timing though.

dizzydixies · 25/02/2009 22:15

little dreamers here's that woman's website - I am to nosey for my own good lol

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/02/2009 22:19

dizzydixies · 25/02/2009 22:20

scrap that last link, she's had a baby and sold the business

pertelote · 25/02/2009 22:22

Evening all, just time for a quick hullo. Theatre last night was brilliant, DH laughed at me for being first out of my seat and down the stairs at the end but I thought I'd done very well to sit politely through the curtain calls

Sorry about little ones with colds - miserable for you.

DD and I have been out for the last time today, we usually go to something every day but to minimise the risk of having the op postponed I'm quarantining us as of now. So I may be on here a bit more than usual....

Hope your DD has a lovely day tomorrow Poppy!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/02/2009 22:22

Night sazzles iM OFF TOO
good luck at hairdressers. I am desperate, I keep asking dh what colour he also prefers me lighter, but I want to go darkeer or back to red.
Night all

poppysocks · 25/02/2009 22:29

Hopefully sazzles, hopefully. ILs live at the end of a Metro line so not on the doorstep, but intend to take the girls in and then escape one evening a deux as well. In fact, also hope to escape to gorgeous restaurant at the end of their drive too, so hoping the girls behave and ILs don't mind lots of babysitting
.

dizzydixies · 25/02/2009 22:30

don't say I didn't warn you Sazz, hope you like it more than I did, I liked it so much am blonde again

no1 step away from the online shop

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/02/2009 22:30

lol dizzy

poppysocks · 25/02/2009 22:33

Hi pertelote - Am guessing you'll be the only one hoping the weather's rubbish so you don't feel bad inside. We'll always be here to provide vaguely DC related banter whenever needed.

dizzydixies · 25/02/2009 22:39

right girls, am off as have music class in the morning, more hidying to do after that and then a party in the afternoon

hoping everyone has a good night sleep

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 26/02/2009 08:00

Happy Birthday little poppy
Hope you all have lovely day.

Looks dark and miserable here, dd woke up with snot again so wont be going to toddler group this morning, bang goes my couple of hours of sanity.
Looking forward to cabin fever today now, and stresing over being quiet as dh will be home from work soon and be asleep upstairs.
Oh the joy

Hope everyone managed sleep, I wont bore you with my night.

cyteen · 26/02/2009 09:09

Happy birthday to the small socks

Morning no1, that's a shame about your toddler group Being stuck in the house is grim isn't it? Could you maybe bundle them all in the car and go somewhere warm educational?

Can I just big up my DP this morning? Joe has been waking at 6am the last few days, so DP has been getting up with him and giving him breakfast while he gets himself ready for work, thus giving me an extra hour and a half in bed He's also made me a packed lunch along with his own, and this morning I came down to discover he'd put the washing up away He is a good man.

sambo303triesforScotland · 26/02/2009 09:28

good morning ladies

no1 for your coldy dd, I second cyteen , can you take them to a friends/relative's house to break the monotony

yay for mrcyteen though I have to laugh when we ladies say something along the lines of how fab our menfolk are for doing some mundane housework thing which we do the other 364 days of the year - nonetheless, a brownie point is in order

dp off work with man flu the last 2.5 days hence the lack of mn activity - he's now fretting massively about job security . We got our Antilop yesterday - red with a white tray and I love it. We gave ds some roast parsnip and carrot - I did not expect him to swallow any but a big lump did disappear. He did retch/gag a lot and I was very scared. I patted him on the back at one point I thought he couldnt breathe and a huge piece of carrot came flying out. Am now wondering if my nerves can stand BLW.

thinking of Sazzles - she will be in the early stages now of a total transformation

Happy Birthday littlesocks

Sazzles - V. of bikini body!

No1 - Sorry night wasn't so geat and you have a poorly DD.

Dizzy - enjoy your partying with Poppy.

Going to play catch on last nights shenanigans

cyteen · 26/02/2009 10:20

sambo i know what you mean but it's amazing how quickly their eating skills improve - joe hardly ever really gags now and we've only been weaning for a couple of weeks. as long as you're watching closely he will be fine i find sazzles' suggestion of saying 'everything ok?' in a reassuring tone of voice very calming for both of us!

AnnVan · 26/02/2009 10:22

Morning everyone.
(nuff said)
no1 sorry about the colds. It feels never ending doesn't it? I can't wait for the blardy colds and bugs to ease off now. Feels like I haven't been healthy since seb was two weeks old, and neither has he.
SIL was supposed to come over yesterday so that I could get some cleaning done.Of course she only turned up after 4, by which time all motivation had gone, and it was too late to get much done anyway. So I didn't do any cleaning.
Seb's doorbouncer arrived on tuesday. He's been in it twice now and LOVES it. It's really funny seeing him hop around in it He also keeps twirling in a circle while he's hopping.

hotterpotter · 26/02/2009 10:47

A shit night here too, must be something in the air . DS just up from his nap now and his cheeks are scarlet - more teeth on their way perhaps?

Happy Birthday smallsocks hope you have a lovely party.

Good luck with your cabin fever No1 and Pertelote. Must be extra hard for you No1 if you need to keep the DC quiet. But the few times I've been to toddler group they have been full of children oozing snot and other sticky things , do you really need to stay away.

Glad your DS likes his bouncer Ann they look so funny don't they

Am also of bikini body. I looked at myself side on in the mirror today (big mistake) and still look 6 months pregnant .

DS crying, back soon...

MiamlaHasADaffodilBehindHerEar · 26/02/2009 10:49

happy birthday PopSocks (do you see what i did there? )

had a night from hell here, too tired to type details, suffice to say if i did type it out the word "sleep" wouldn't be involved

right, i'm off to do some hidying before albs gets here!
