pf Dh away on nightshift which required a lie in, a nap this afternoon and now he's gone so am right with you shall have to manage the school run myself in the morning too as I need him to get up to collect DD1 at 3pm from school as am taking Dylan and DD2 to a party - you have my sympathies

sazz hark at you in your post 2 babies bikini [sticks out tongue] when is it that you go again?

poppy if you feel the need for 3 you can always borrow one of mine to let DH try 3 on for size looking forward to tomorrow, DD2 has gone to bed singing happy birthday to your DD1

VG apologies for not being here to help with your near FBG disaster, Oops has given you much better advice than I could have receipe sounds delish so may have to give it a whirl! Can I just say though that I am LOVING DS1's cunning giving up school for lent, shows initiative

toothache still here - please kick me up the arse bottom tomorrow and remind me to phone for an appt. Am managing to stick to the not gorging eating after dinner so hopefully that should be helping. buckets how are you getting on with the laxatives? VG how is Paul treating you - am figuring I need all the help I can get

had a strange day, put DD2 to nursery so DH and I could get wired into our room, which we did and its now all sparkly and tidy my friend and I had decided to go for a walk today in time to be back for school run and after gorgeous sunny morning when we were about to set off at 1.30pm it started chucking it down I suppose at least we weren't at our furthest point.
Ended up chucking her DS and Dylan in the car and going for a drive so they would nap and we could put her world to rights

Dylan now bothered with her 2nd top tooth so not in the mood for eating tonight either, we're also back to snotty nose and breathing issues - cannot believe it AGAIN

did I mention we're going to a party tomorrow, happy birthday MiniPoppy!!!

I went shopping (again) today with my dsis she was buying things for the party on sat. DD was an angel all day, Ds went in his new pram but cried constantly, so had to put him in the Moby.
(dh says the babywearing has made him mardy/clingy.
He is just poorly/sniffly so didnt want to lay flat.
Is this cold just going to keep going round and round or what??
I woke up with it, I know dd will get it agin now too

sazzles the bikini is lovely and good for you I am sure you will look great.
Remind us again when you go??
You reminded me I need to get re measured as currently in 34f, but when Marcus has fed they feel a bit baggy.

dizzydixies · 25/02/2009 21:50

No1 apparently its gained itself the name as the boomerang cold as its just going round and round and round

ok, ok Sazz, I hear you

dizzydixies · 25/02/2009 21:52

and its the weirdos with the upsidedown house

poppysocks · 25/02/2009 21:53

Ah but remember sazzles, in true MN style, a CS is major abdominal surgery and therefore NOT the preferred option.

Yes, I'm on C4 +1 too Dizzy. DD1 was deciding who got what in their party bags today and your DD2 got the first choice (pick of the bunch by 2/3 year old standards ONLY ), but did declare L 'her favourite friend'.

dizzydixies · 25/02/2009 21:56

oh bless her, DD1 was a bit re the party but then declared she supposed it was ok as long as she got to write the card as M was L's friend and as L can't write she didn't want M to be upset!! she's not a bad wee soul!

Dh told me today that he has been recalled for extra duty (not optional) on 22nd March - was doing ok about mother's day as it fell on his wkend off and shall now be spending it with the kids on my own

am loathe to say it BUT am quite sure had his recall fallen on the Sat which is super Sat for the rugby I'm sure he'd be fighting tooth and nail to get it changed

I sometimes really hate the fecking 'security' company we work for

dizzydixies · 25/02/2009 22:02

oh Lord, have just read that back, of course I don't mind being with my girls on Mothers Day, I was just hoping to spend it as a farm

feel like a right pillock now

poppysocks · 25/02/2009 22:02

LOL Dizzy. Poor DD1. Sorry to be having the party in school time. Would be lovely to have her there.

dizzydixies · 25/02/2009 22:05

not at all, its time she realised that L has a life of her own too

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/02/2009 22:06

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 25/02/2009 22:08

dh just gone to work, think I shoukld get to bed try get some sleep before ds wakes, and dd sneaks in with me.
Dont know how I will feel if ds wakes every 1/2 hours again. He did properly feed every time though which was odd.
My milk supply is now immense.
