{{{{{{{{{{No1}}}}}}}}}}}} How awful to have to wait for results. Praying that all is ok with Marcus, and praying too for peace of mind for you and dh.

TS & sazzles am very of your forthcoming hols. My parents jetted off to Orlando yesterday, and are currently enjoying the sunny weather as I type

Ds1 has an ear infection and he has now started on antibiotics. Honestly, O finished his antibiotics at lunchtime, and now I have another weeks worth of remembering to do!!

Frustrating day with O refusing to take formula from the bottle. Dh tells me not to get upset about it. I bite his head off gently state that it frustrates me coz I feel trapped into breastfeeding. I need to get a grip . IT WON'T LAST FOREVER, IT WILL NOT LAST FOREVER...ad infinitum/nauseum

Advanced warning of me me me

Been to paediatrician today.

Marcus had to have 2 x-rays today, query Spina Bifida.
He was born with a section of black hair at the base of his spine, was mentioned briefly to me by midwife it is a sign of SB but on feeling the area said he was fine everything felt ok.
Doctor today seemed concerned had a good feel, and sent me up to x-ray.
I now have to wait 7-10 days for results.
Dh pissed off and says he wants to go private and he wont wait.
Feeling a bit, well dont know really.

Thankfully lungs chest clear, cough just in throat iykwim.
re Weight loss he was concerned as he dropped again, in weight, length, and head circ.
Want to review him in 6 weeks to see if weaning helps, if not will investigate further.(as he says Marcus seems happy enough)
Have to get wee sample re strong smelling and lack of to rule out infection.
sorry for me me me again

pf
i'm guessing your spouse is a surgeon?? our new family doctor is of the integrative medicine school of thought. he firmly believes diet, exercise and lifestyle changes can benefit everyone (similar to dr. oz). it's only an 8 week protocol anyway so my thought is no harm. i did chuckle though because my dh was the same way when i explained the protocol further. he thought the vit-b bit was in addition to this packet NOT THE PACKET. our new doc also does accupuncture which i will be doing and hopefully dh too but he's....less than interested.

i just keep harping (and feel free everyone to use the same harp) that high cholestrol and heart related problems cause your to not work properly and if you want your to work properly for years and years to come then you need to work to improve your cardiac health NOW.

PF he's fairly adventurous foodwise BUT does tend to be nore meat oriented. He has said that he won't mind having veggie meals as long as they're tasty, so anything you think is particularly yummy will do.

okay who asked about adding meats to aug08 baby's diet? reese has had a little chicken in her pureed baby food. i didn't taste it but she ate it up.

my head feels like a science experiment. totally maxed out my C, B and echinanea intake for the day between 9 and 12. just dosed myself with an antihistamine...will probably drift into a fog soon. WHY? WHY? oh well, better now than two weeks from now.

sazzles i picked up another pack of proboitics today and it did say that poo could be runny or solid (the literature was more techinical than that) for the first few weeks depending on a number of factors but a change in poo proved the bacteria where establishing themselves positively (in a positive way).

ann can you sign up for formal baby swim classes at your pool. they really do a lot to make both you and baby more comfortable in the water.

thanks for the kind words regard dh. he'll be fine or i'll knock him over the head with a skillet. as i was doing pushups in the bedroom this morning, he was like "honey that's good form." i replied, "yes i know...why don't you try a few too." he just looked at me like and replied, "i'm working up to doing them." he's coming around...slowly but he is changing.

dizzy {{HUGS}} cake?

annvan How adventurous is your dp - I have lots of ideas you could try?

TS dh was ummm how shall I put it, not terribly polite about the niacin protocol. Basically I could sum it up by saying he didn't think there was any scientific evidence for it working. But he isn't always right obviously and I hope it does have a positive effect on your dh.

cyteen don't suppose you'd mind emailing a couple? Pretty please?

Knew a veggie girl at uni who would steam some broccoli, boil a bit of pasta and that was her dinner. Honestly. Veggie food CAN be tasty. Don't know how she lived like that. My mum used to make lovely braised butternut and lentil.
