Night PF

poppysocks · 22/02/2009 21:01

Sorry pf

There are bananas in there but have tried to limit them and bread too. Was told off by HV for suggesting it was constipation when it's just lots of hard poos . Anything between 3 and 5 dirty nappies per day (sorry - tmi). Occasional discomfort it seems but nothing drastic. Just seems odd when it's basically all fruit and veg and breastmilk and her one daily bottle. Was hoping to move her onto formula completely next month but presumably that would just make matters worse....

Amazing recipe dizzy. Drooled at it. Sadly too lazy to make it so am scoffing the bar of dairy milk at my side .

Well, the way you ladies are going I'll have to wax lyrical about my DH . Well, he is rather wonderful. He's fiercely intelligent, utterly silly, the most positive and supportive person I've ever come across, an incredible father, brilliant friend and foxy to boot. I am very, very lucky.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/02/2009 21:02

oops could you remind me which nappy site you linked to other week that were doing the offer. Thanks

My dh is also wonderful. I am spoilt rotten I know.
He says I never ask for anything, but have a good way of hinting for things, so he always listens, when I think he is taking no notice and things just appear. Bless him.

dizzydixies · 22/02/2009 21:09

oops I hope so as Dylan does nothing but suck it off bread !!!

am now beginning to laugh re all our wonderful DH/DPs etc - lets see who is the first to come on and threaten to kill them

hhmmmmmm - Poppy, you have a party to prepare for, TS you're in the middle of a remodel, I am having the inlaws over

my money is on me

who asked about my fecking toothache?! have since poked my tooth to check and its now sore again time to be brave and make an appt for me

poppysocks · 22/02/2009 21:11

I did a truly terrible cut on myself at about 9. Was growing out my fringe and when one bit hadn't grown enough to be tied back I just cut it right back to the scalp. This was right in the centre of my forehead. For about six months I cut it weekly and had a sort of stubble in the centre of my forehead. Why on earth my mother didn't stop me I have NO idea. Suprisingly there are no photos from that era...

oopsRonanOGarascoconuts · 22/02/2009 21:11

No1 - it was here offer still running! I might have to register my other e-mail addy and get it delivered to MIL I need more itti's!

dizzydixies · 22/02/2009 21:13

lol Poppy, sounds very similar to the girl in DDs school - bless her

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/02/2009 21:14

Thanks oops I was just on that site. So the itti's are good then??
I seen some sandys for £4 tempted to get some.

oopsRonanOGarascoconuts · 22/02/2009 21:14

Dizzy - that will be me - the IL's have invited themselves to the IOW to babysit DD for us on Saturday night - they have booked a room next to our No bed rocking that night then!!! Dh didn't even say anything to them! AND I'm not sharing my cake with them - new cot or no new cot!

poppysocks · 22/02/2009 21:17

Be brave, dizzy, be brave. You won't be alone this week. I have scheduled dental work that had to be cancelled when I found I was pg with DD2, to Thursday am . Therefore, please excuse me if I'm rather lopsided at the party!

oopsRonanOGarascoconuts · 22/02/2009 21:18

N01 - The itti's are great - we have 1 outer and 2 sets of inners so when they are wet you just snap out the wet bit and snap in a dry bit - DH left her in one from 9 this morning and failed to change her until 3 and she didn't leak or wick. I have never tried sandy's but at £4 I would be willing to give one a try.

Okay - DH forgiven - he told them we are out all day and will see them before dinner to let them in to sit with DD - he is also going to ring and change our room - requesting they are not next to us. Boy was that a quick backtrack on his part!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/02/2009 21:21

dizzy I hate dentist too, I have been loads lately.
I had a filling while pregnant that fell out 4 times. I had it without being 'numbed'
I went back couple of week ago, and had it done properly.(I had full anaesthetic block) I also had root canal several years ago. I put up with the pain and ended up with abscess(sp?) go get it done, before it gets worse and you need antibiotics,
Sorry lecture over.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/02/2009 21:23

meant to say I went back 4 times while pregnant to get it replaced. My dentist is a wanker she has the most appaling bedside manner.
I have to travel a fair way too as my local dentist kicked me out for missing an appointment. (went for a pregnancy scan and forgot all about it)
I try to go private when I can.

oh no poppy how shit - I too know am in for a lot of work as she patched my up but couldn't x-ray etc whilst pregnant and I've been avoiding it ever since - a little too long now apparently

I keep meaning to ask do you need any help for Thurs? just ask if there is anything I can do

No1 I had root canal once before and I think thats why I'm so hesitant about it but shall at least book the appt

oops thats taking it all a bit far, I'd be a bit if the ILs invited themselves on our anny trip but well done DH for managing to salvage something - you do realise now he thinkgs he's on a promise

oopsRonanOGarascoconuts · 22/02/2009 21:33

Dizzy - I think they hought they were being kind but it's a bit misguided!

VG - where are you flying to? |From Exeter it's about 2 hours I think - from Bristol add an hourish. (I think, I usually fidget my way down and fail to pay any attention to time)

poppysocks · 22/02/2009 21:34

Thanks for the offer dizzy. The advantage of going for the -lazy- toddler friendly option is that they do virtually everything. Have got bits for party bags (don't built L up, nothing exciting!) and will just rely on DH's puff while I'm at the dentist to blow up balloons.

poppy L's fav thing at the moment is a small brush for the floor - no building up in this house needed at all

VG am very of your golf, does it have bluelit dashboard - and yes, I am aware of how pathetic that sounds but they're lovely!!!!! please don't tell me you're going away the same week I'm over, obviously you've of course to go when you can but am hoping it won't clash

oops bless them for wanting to help but seriously a bit more thought on their part - or maybe not!!!

ataraxis · 22/02/2009 21:42

vg, there are now flights to newquay as well which might be worth investigating (not sure where from though).

ataraxis · 22/02/2009 21:47

I have just googled oxypowder, now my bum is feeling funny

VG that looks fabulous! friends of mine went on a working farm holiday in Germany last year and loved it and it didn't look half as nice as that one
