Dizzy - thanks, I am thrilled it is the most amazing gift but I am notoriously bad at receiving gifts - it embarasses me for some reason but will willingly give every last penny on a gift for someone else.

Go buckets - fab title!

Sazz I love hearing about L, I think L & L are going to be great friends when they finally meet

now where is TS do you think she's too busy loving her new worktops to leave them and come on

LoveBuckets · 16/02/2009 21:50

Heheh inspired by the Feckin vegetable pun Geniuses on the 10/10 health threads. Best thread titles on Mumsnet IMO.

Sazz - I knew a bloke who love his mini too much too but he liked to drape girls over the bonnet (not me he was too cool for the likes of me)

TS is most likely thinking of ways never to have to put anything on her new worktops.

dizzydixies · 16/02/2009 21:55

agree completely buckets - they're inspired but I just don't have that kind of quick wit about me!

Am having serious spelling, grammar and language problems today - I have no real excuse except DD and I have been having an Afrikaans day - not a word of English passed between us except in English only company. It makes her laugh hysterically when we have these conversations almost like she prefers it to regular old English.

dizzydixies · 16/02/2009 21:58

yipee! remind me again where she is

oopsRonanOGarascoconuts · 16/02/2009 21:59

Sazzles is going to be the most met thread friend! She is also going to meet the legendary Dizzy in real life.

Just nipping on before bed as having been on the phone to some RL friends

ds1 at his first sleepover tonight (just down the road) feel a bit

I really HOPE he went to bed ok as I will be paying the price tomorrow otherwise

pertelote Agree with all the others - the dieticians advice is outdated but also agree that it is possible Marianne may need something different so worth getting a second opinion. If you need the name of a good paediatric cardiologist then dh can recommend one and that person probably knows an appropriate dietician too.... (I have also met said cardiologist and he seemed very nice to me)

vg Your beauties are lovely

See you on on the morrow (said in the period drama style for the benefit of annvan)

lol, buckets I was wondering more about not christening cars - if I had a wee mini I'd love it to pieces too
