I don't change at night either.

Would love to try pilates!

muppetgirl · 28/01/2009 21:51

Alice -I didn't find out about the toilet roll till I tried to use it to clear up the mess and put my hand in poo!!!!!!!! It was inside the roll!!!!!

No poo incidents to report today (remember I used to do the poo dance????? we're obsessed with poo in our house it seems ) and Ollie had another fab day.

Am sat in the living room in dh's pants and t-shirt as tummy has grown and I need something loose in the evenings. Lots of movements and a tightness just above my bits I've never had during the last 2 pregnancies. Feel fine though and the tiredness has worn off a bit -at least the last 2 days!

love to all

Inzi, just a suggestion why don't you use a washable for the evenings? they are more absorbant and "last" for longer. If you want to give it a go I will send you a couple of brilliant night time nappies...as I have far too many a few spare.

Morning all.

Inzi - I change Ben just before bed at 7pm and he goes all night in the one nappy, have you tried giving her milk a little bit earlier and then changing her literally just before you put her in the cot?

Need Coffee - potty trained at 18 months! wow, I thought I did well getting Sam dry at 2 and a 1/2. Mind you I might start getting the potty out for Ben and see what he does with it, he seems so much more aware than Sam.

Muppet - I really can't imagine being pregnant again with my two, you must be so knackered all the time. It will be worth it n the long run though .

Well we had another good night sleep last night, and in fact they are still both asleep now shock unheard of.

DS1 was poorly yesterday, barely ate anything, bit of a temperature and fell asleep on the sofa at 5.45 last night. I put him to bed, he slept solid till 5.30am, woke up wanted his bedtime story that he never got last night, had some medised for temperature and came downstairs to watch TV. He has fallen back asleep on the sofa and is still snoring now. Heavens knows whether he is up for nursery today, guess I will just have to see how he is when he wakes up.

DS2 was not poorly yesterday but went to bed at 7pm and is STILL asleep shock

So I will have to take them both to nursery late if indeed they go at all. I am loathe to wake them up as they obviously need the extra sleep.

Hope you all have a good day

Oops copy and pasted from another thread if you were wondering why I am describing them as DS1 and 2

Inzi - sorry but I'm confused, how can the nappy be big, but not wet?!

muppetgirl · 29/01/2009 11:15

Ah, I get you now :D

Not sure what else to suggest to you some babies just don't like being wet. By the time Ben woke up this morning at 9am he had been sleeping in a huge nappy full of wee and poo after having it on for 14 hours didn't bat an eyelid or moan at all, must be boys for you

Inzi - I would like to know the story behind number 19!! you naughty girl

I have tried thinking of 25 random things but I'm so boring I can't do it

Woooozle100 · 29/01/2009 11:37

helloo ladies (flaky old ejb here!)

Oooh I was going to send that random thing to yous on fb but I bottled it cos I thought why would you give a monkeys about me! I only did 16 as well. Will have a look at yrs later inzi when at home (fb verboten at work)

How are you all? Can empathise with the sleeping thing. And the wet nappy. Since dd has been on overnight pump feeds (having average 600 mls fluid whilst asleep) her nappies have been horrific. Not suprising really tho! One time I left her the nappy was so full it burst and all the bits of gell stuff was all over her and her bed No wonder she was making yampy noises

If anyone wants that no cry sleep solution book I can post on. There were some fairly helpful bits of advice in there

Got a double disco of cack sleepers going on at the moment. My dd cannot shout or cry that loud so easier to leave. ds needs help to go back to sleep every time he wakes. I can put him back in the cot most times but dh has been seeing to him and lying down with him / taking him downstairs which really exascerbating what I've been trying to do in making him more happy with himself er self settle a tad Kind of leaving dh to do it his way cos I'm to busy with dd (he's clueless as to her pump and peg - bit scared really I think) I try and suggest but you know how careful you have to tread with these things!

Right off to do some work x tara a bit

Hi Pixie! We missed you, glad things are going good

Inzi-not sure about the nappy thing, i put Shannons on after her bottle at about 7.15-7.30 and don't change it until morning, sometimes 8am. Think you're going to just try and ride the bad nights out, Jane may be picking up on how stressed you are and its interrupting her (and yours) sleep, or she may have another teeth coming through.
Regarding the silly cow woman send me her name or a link so i can have a nosy! No idea what you can do though, your poor sister, try not to stress about it, i know its hard, but it'll make you feel worse. Whats the worst she could do to your sister anyway? Its doubtful she could lose her job over it

well, i can't remember antying else! Am loving all the notes you've all done, makes me feel like i know you all better.

day 7 and i am still struggling, going to treat myself after 2weeks with one of them spa wraps i think, try and disguise the extra snacks and portions i've been scoffing in place of smoking.
