hello

although I'm probably talking to myself.

Hope you're ok fury....at least you will know what is going on....could be perfectly ok....but unless you go, you won't know.

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 26/01/2009 13:50

Thinking of you Fury. Hope you're OK.

Ohforfoxsake · 26/01/2009 14:31

Oh Fury, my fingers are crossed for you. I hope you are all OK. Do you think it could be an implant bleed? They happen about 8 weeks, bit crampy too IME.

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 26/01/2009 14:53

Well, our cat is home (cat carrier fitted so perfectly in the Phil & Ted, you'd think it was made for transporting cats not babes!) and OK. (But my neighbour did ask if things had got so bad I had to keep the baby in a cage now ) No growths seen on the xray, so Irritable Bowel diagnosed and she's now on a special diet. And she didn't need any sedation for the xray even

HellHathNoFury · 26/01/2009 14:53

Thanks all

Am feeling a lot better now but a bit faint... although that's not unusual, I passed out in tescos the other night.
I think I just need to take it easy.

Foxy I had all those pains a couple of weeks back - hence my worry when I was cramping and in pain today, I thought I was past that phase! Dammit!

But at the moment I feel ok so fingers crossed it was nothing important!

I have no idea how far gone I am or anything. Judging by the size of my gut, I am hoping it is 4 months.

Ohforfoxsake · 26/01/2009 14:58

Will you go to your EPU tomorrow Fury? Get a scan? If nothing else you'll get a date.

Glad you are feeling better. I suppose the fact that you have been feeling so terrible could mean that all the hormones were working well.

Good news about your cat too Jammy (kind of). Glad its nothing too awful, although I suppose a cat with IBS isn't the best!

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 26/01/2009 15:06

Glad you're feeling a bit better Fury, but do take it easy, and do get seen if you can!

Thanks Foxy. IBS makes sense because when I think back we have had some really messy litter trays (sorry if TMI) on and off over recent weeks/months. The vet hopes that this "bland" cat food for sensitive guts will sort her out. Thankfully it's not that much more than normal stuff from the supermarket, so if that perks her up and stops the symptoms it'll be fine. Have to give her at least 3 weeks on this stuff to find out though.

HellHathNoFury · 26/01/2009 15:24

Jammy maybe it's a food allergy?
My dog was v similar for months - turns out he can't tolerate pretty much any type of red meat whatsoever.

Here is the blandest cat food you'll ever find - we used the doggy equivalent - using this, and reintroducing other foods, we were able to determine that beef especially made him, well, sick as a dog. Here

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 26/01/2009 15:41

It's the Royal Canin stuff we've been advised to try first - but there are other (more expensive) options if this doesn't help.

Anyway, got to go collect jamlet from nursery. Another journey with an empty pushchair! On the bus this time though.

LackaDAISYcal · 26/01/2009 16:26

I'm glad you're feeling a bit beter fury, bu get thee to the hospital tomorrow....or at least the doctors . Have you had a booking appointment or anything yet? scan of any type? If nothing else to get you on the system.

DD has just managed to put a cardigan on.....albeit, one of bumble's and it's upside down and inside out, but all credit to her for trying!

I hope your cat improves on the special food jammy, and glad that the vet didn't find anything sinister.

Bumperslucious · 26/01/2009 20:03

Fury, hope things are ok for you , thinking sticky thoughts for you.

We have a pretty poorly baby here, bunged up nose, temp of 39 and she has literally spend the whole day snuggled up to DH on the sofa. I've never know her to stay in one place for longer than 5 mins since she could crawl! She is feeling very sorry for herself, but not complaining at all, just very quiet and subdued.

Good news about your cat jammy.

How's the new pooter foxy?

LackaDAISYcal · 26/01/2009 20:11

poor DD bumper; it's worse when they are all flat and listless like that isn't it?

DD has been a bit clingy with us today, asking for cuddles and just cuddling in rather than charging about as usual. Her eye teeth are coming in though, so that might explain it.

She was sooo out of order today and knew it instantly. she threw a full pencil case at bumble and it hit him on the forehead giving him a fright. I just scooped her up, said Not acceptable and put her to bed. Normally she whinges about going for a nap, but she just lay down and went to sleep and the first thing she did on waking was say "bumble? sorry"

OP posts:
JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 26/01/2009 20:17

Poor DD's (Bumper's and Daisy's). And bless your DD, Daisy for saying sorry. (Shame she had something to say sorry for though)

LackaDAISYcal · 26/01/2009 20:22

She knows exactly what it means too jammy. She'll deliberately pull hair or headbutt us, and then get all cuddly and say sorry

bumble is watching the cat washing herself and getting really animated. He has really started taking notice of things.

OP posts:
Bumperslucious · 26/01/2009 20:42

Awww, bless DD daisy. Sounds like bumble doing really well too.

DD finally gone to bed. Hope she sleeps through as I am knackered and having a tough time at work.

Ohforfoxsake · 26/01/2009 20:54

Poor DD Bumper (new pooter is grand thanks. Been 'burning' DVDs from my camcorder tonight. All 12 months worth.

Bless DD for saying Sorry Daisy. Does something wrong them uses her feminine charms to win you over - she'll go far!

I have just gone mental at DS2. They have an 8 O'clock bedtime, and he's been arsing around for an hour, so I've taken the Wii away, and now I've screamed at him and turned all the lights off. He's been bawling that he's scared of the dark and can he have a light on. I feel really, really mean but I'm sick of being up and down the stairs for two hours every night (especially as it doesn't do anything to tone my arse!).

Grrrrrrrrr

Ohforfoxsake · 26/01/2009 20:55

Bumper, why a tough time at work?

LackaDAISYcal · 26/01/2009 21:04

what's up at work bumper?

Bumble has had a huge feed tonight (12 week growth spurt I think) and fallen comatose asleep by himself and is tucked up in bed. This is the first night he hasn't needed to be put to sleep by the power of the finger!!

and he has done a total turn around on the dummy, he nearly took my hand off tonight when I wafted it past him....check out my profile pic!

foxy, you're not charging up the stairs enthusiastically enough

might have spoken too soon on the sleeping bumble front

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 26/01/2009 21:07

Love your profile pics Daisy

Bumperslucious · 26/01/2009 21:08

Sorry about bed time foxy.

Work's just tough, I've got loads to do and I am struggling to keep up within my part time hours, but I can't say anything as I have gone on about it enough and if my boss doesn't get it now he's never going to. My confidence is totally knocked and I am doing shit job as a consequence. Wondering if I am in the right job, but I am actually qualified for nothing! Have no idea what else I would do.

Ohforfoxsake · 26/01/2009 21:08

Your photos are just lovely Daisy - what gorgeous children you have!

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 26/01/2009 21:08

I'm off to bed. To play scrabble on my Nintendo DS. I will beat "Steve" on a timed game, I will, damn it!!!!!!!

LittleMissNorty · 26/01/2009 21:10

Evening all

Poor DD Bumper....the temperature makes them go all quiet and listless.....I assume calpol and neurofen alternately are doing the trick in keeping down her temp?

Just put away my Tesco's shop... you'd think I was going away for a month, not 2 nights ....DD has got about 15 frozen home cooked dinners...and DH nor I will need to cook for a while either......

I am knackered...just sat down for what feels like the first time today.....don't blame you going mad Foxy....if I was up and down like that, I'd be pretty pissed off as well

LittleMissNorty · 26/01/2009 21:13

ahhh pics are lovely Daisy

Fairy put some new ones on FB today and they are lovely as well

Ohforfoxsake · 26/01/2009 21:14

Part-time work is a myth OMVHO. Its a way companies get 37 hours worth of work done in 20. Do they ever think to ask how you are managing your work load in relation to your working hours? And it is usually women in part-time work.

Oh I'm grumpy. But I have said sorry to DS2 as he dropped off to sleep. He gets an earlier bedtime tomorrow now. When will he learn???????
