sorry stepped away to start dinner. you ladies are WiLD tonight. LOL!!!

thanks for the pills

SevenRottersPottering · 02/01/2009 22:37

Well I don't know about overindulging in food treats, the terrible spelling lapses look to my trained eye like one or two August mamas have had one or two over the alloted amount of mucky beer tonight! You should see how many words in that short sentence I have had to erase and retype...

Glad to hear it's not just me though with the extra grub, got to eat all the remaining chocolate / biscuits / peanuts etc etc before starting my fox transformation on Monday at which time I will be reverting to non-Christmas moniker but not before, it's still holiday! The tree is still twinkling in the corner, I'll be sorry to see it go

Dizzy sorry to hear about your car some people are just mean

dizzydixies · 02/01/2009 22:38

thanks rotters - its just mindless which is annoying

TwilightSurfer · 02/01/2009 22:39

CAKE!
PLEASE PLEASE I NEED SOME.
PMSing like MADDDDDDDD HERE.

dizzydixies · 02/01/2009 22:39

damn you and your buggysnuggle links Sazzles - the one I want if £51

ataraxis · 02/01/2009 22:42

Well if it contains carrots then it must be healthy!

We have nothing food wise in our house except Christmas goodies. Keep forgetting to do a food order and there is no way I am taking all 3 of them to Sainsbury's.

Hi rotter our tree is coming down on Sunday, marking the end of festive fun . Back to getting up for school run on Monday [lazy cow who has had children sleeping in til 8.30 most days and doesn't want it to change emoticon].

ataraxis · 02/01/2009 22:44

It has gone quiet again here so I am going to try for a good night's sleep.

Goodnight all.

dizzydixies · 02/01/2009 22:44

ataraxis, mine have all been sleeping really late too its fab isn't it?!? we don't start back until Tues (Mon is an inservice day) and I'm dreading the school run already

am considering bringing down the tree tomorrow as am getting a bit fed up with the needles - its not them bothering me per say, its DD2's obsession with the hand held hoover for ever single needle she sees on the floor - she's putting me to shame

oopsacoconut · 02/01/2009 22:46

I'm going to be too - if I can sleep with the sugar rush I am currently experiencing - Watch out DH here I come

SevenRottersPottering · 02/01/2009 22:47

I think ours will come down on Sunday too, is doing very well, not much needle drop but I think it's time will be up by then

Plus DD has her second nursery warm-up on Monday before starting properly next week, how did my tiny girl get so big? I'm sure it'll be great, she'll get to do loads of fun things, I'll allegedly have time for exercise in the afternoon while she's gone, but I'll miss her

No cake for me ta, feeling a bit sick after breadsticks and hummous followed by peanuts. No wonder I'm so fat

oopsacoconut · 02/01/2009 22:47

going to bed not be - I already am

SevenRottersPottering · 02/01/2009 22:48

Oh the rogue apostrophe shame
Too much wine I think

dizzydixies · 02/01/2009 22:48

Dylan is up DH just got a big burp out of her but its not settled her apparently - am going to give her a moment to see if she can find her thumb so apologies if I disappear

oopsacoconut · 02/01/2009 22:49

Rotter - I wish I had wine to blame it on!

SevenRottersPottering · 02/01/2009 22:58

Am still very of all you mums of sleeping babies. DS will be awake sometime between now and 2am, then at 4 and probably 6 too , No1 I think it's a very brave and sensible thing you are doing helping your DS to settle himself. Need to get my DS in his own room before I can try that, need to clear all the crap out of DS's room before I can move him in so will be tired a bit longer! Ought to go to bed now, watching South Park instead

SevenRottersPottering · 02/01/2009 23:07

Hope Dylan settled herself Dizzy

Get some wine down you Oops!

Better go to bed incase my tinker boy is awake soon, night all

dizzydixies · 02/01/2009 23:08

so far so good Rotter - will express some milk for tomorrow's lunch and she'll no doubt waken up 2seconds later

have a good night

AnnVan · 03/01/2009 01:33

Hi all. Gosh I'm tired. Back from Scotland just before midnight as bad night = oversleeping, and then the direct Virgin service from Glasgow to London wasn't running because of a light aircraft crashed near the lines so. ah well, am home now. Have had lovely help with night time from mum and even brother. DP and I been sleeping in shifts. Seb has turned into a complete MONSTER at night, have no idea why. Thinking that some tough love may be in order if he doesn't straighten out soon.
Also think he may be getting ready for solids, as he keeps trying to grab food out my hands. Today he managed to hold an empty paper cup in his hands and tip it as if he was drinking fron it. He's currenty upstairs yelling while DP tries to calm him. Sorry - once again haven't caught up
Hope everyone had a very good new year.

AnnVan · 03/01/2009 02:12

Ha! Little man asleep. DP practiced tough love. Didn't leave him to scream but stayed close with his hand on little man's chest. Refused to pick him up. Less than ten minutes later he'd fallen asleep. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

ataraxis · 03/01/2009 08:04

Good for you ann - glad to hear you had a good time and some much needed support. Well done on settling Seb, hopefully it will have given you a good night sleep.

The plan to not do the late feed didn't work . Dd woke up at 11, and then (I think) because she had woken up (rather than dream feed), it completely disturbed her sleep and she was up at 1,4 and 6 (not hungry, just up). DS1 came in to me at around 2, DS2 at 6.30 so we have all been up since then [tired mum emoticon]. And I have a 3 hour drive back today .
