SAZZ what are you saying about me? . Do you think I am as thick as a whale omlette?

What kind of grammar is 'does is'?

CaptainCaveman · 02/01/2009 22:09

or even 'is does' oops...

oopsacoconut · 02/01/2009 22:09

Where did you go for your Thai Sazzles?

We went to Bath today and DD got some very pretty new clothes from Monsoon sale (not that she needed any) She needed a party dress for the In Law's 'wedding' on Wednesday. Have finally sorted cake design and am manically trying to source decorations by Tuesday. Nothing like short notice.

TwilightSurfer · 02/01/2009 22:10

oopsacoconut · 02/01/2009 22:11

I have an excuse - English is not my first language! No that's no excuse - the real reason is I am cr*p at English

dizzydixies · 02/01/2009 22:12

oops a wedding?!? a cake?!? where have I been, what have I missed, can I help with online sources in anyway - I am the resident FBG and online shopper of the thread

oopsacoconut · 02/01/2009 22:12

I 'm pleased you didn't put me down at 8.5 stone Dizzy - I would have to shop you for misleading advertising!

TwilightSurfer · 02/01/2009 22:15

hmm mabye i should come back another time

what on earth are ya'll blabbering about???
necklaces, whales, child labour, fights

i am very confused

oopsacoconut · 02/01/2009 22:16

Thanks, I think I am sorted Dizzy (after many manic frantic phone calls today) I sourced my fondant ribbon from Peebleshire, Photo icing ink from Surrey, Gold leaf from Cardiff. It will be a square cake, photo of their original wedding day (A5size) in the bottom right corner, ribbon with bow (Icing) along left and top of photo - should end up looking like a present
It is their 40th Wedding anniversary and they are renewing their vows in a church after they originally married in a registry office. I have had 3 days notice on the need for a cake!

It's okay TS just take one of these pills and it will all become clear

ataraxis · 02/01/2009 22:19

sazz - work is likely to take me to Cheltenham more frequently in 2009 (not yet though thank goodness). You anywhere near the racecourse so I can pop in for coffee?

CaptainCaveman · 02/01/2009 22:19

Yay dizzy you have me down as a stone lighter than in rl - here, have a virtual kiss

Twas just kidding, sazz knows I'm not thick right? Honestly, do I have to get my cycling proficieny certificate fake degree out again to prove just how clever I am?!

ataraxis · 02/01/2009 22:20

grr - ds2 is whinging (not sure whether in his sleep or not) and dd is finger sucking like mad... the best laid plan may be falling at the first

oopsacoconut · 02/01/2009 22:21

OH NO TS has caught the bad spelling disease - AAHHHHHH - what is a mabye?

dizzydixies · 02/01/2009 22:21

ataraxis · 02/01/2009 22:23

well as long as nobody tells Hot Mamas am currently wiring into some Sainsburys' bacon wrapped sausages and mini fish finger sandwiches as some of our guests for new years days couldn't come due to illness

would be rude to waste Sainsbury's food, now if I had only gone to lidls
