Well here too - fecking lady didn't show up to view the fecking house. Dh and I spent all day yesterday cleaning, mopping, scrubbing, I even did the bloody sodding ironing. Apparently the lady was ill in bed with flu and will book another viewing - my arse. I'll believe that when it happens.

Anyway.

I'm so envious of your Bristol meet up . Promise you'll take pics and put them on fb?

How's the sleeping going?

Lazy baby here too - he'll roll over if i push him! Shows an interest in sitting if supported but usually ends up eating the carpet

Did anyone else have to check Sazz's post twice to find said apostrophe?

ataraxis · 02/01/2009 21:17

Oh dizzy - that's awful. Some people are just such idiots.

no1 - completely agree with the others. Nothing to feel guilty about. If a LO doesn't learn how to self soothe a bit it can surely create problems for ages?

Rubbish night last night - DS2 up at midnight, DD at 1ish, DS1 at 3ish and DD again @ 5. Thankfully I am not at home, so managed to get both a morning and an afternoon nap in today!

Travelling over on new years day was absolute bliss - nearly no cars on the road. Reckon travelling back tomorrow could be a right PIA .

ataraxis · 02/01/2009 21:19

cc - lol @ pushing him over!

Sazzles - never mind the apostrophe - what about the unnecessary capital letter?!

pertelote - wishing you warmness.

Ok, here's a question for those of you with good sleeping babies - do you do a late night feed (10/11ish) or do they sleep right through?

I have always done a feed around that time, and am a bit scared to drop it in case it leads to a night of horror, but equally I wonder whether I am disturbing her by that feed.

Thoughts?

ataraxis · 02/01/2009 21:31

I was laughing with you sweetie...

dizzydixies · 02/01/2009 21:36

sazzles, your photos are fabulous btw, although am slightly concerned by the child labour going on

ataraxis - Dylan sleeps through from about 6 or 7pm and I express at about 10 or 11pm for her solid feed at lunchtime the next day - give it a whirl, you never know you might get lucky

ataraxis · 02/01/2009 21:51

I was joking

oopsacoconut · 02/01/2009 21:58

I have to confess we do a 9.30/10/11 feed here - she just doesn't know it's happening - I have tried not doing it but she then wakes up when I have only been asleep for an hour! (and I can't cope with that) then we have a 5am then a 8.30 wake up. All her feeds only last 3 or 4 minutes but I am still gushing milk (managed to flood the bed last night through 2 breastpads) She was sleeping from late feed to 7/7.30 then until 9 but since she has become more interested in the world and can't concentrate on feeding during the day, So I think she isn't feeding sufficiently during the day and needs to make it up at night. She will feed a 'whole' big feed if we are alone in a quiet room with no DH, cat, telly, light etc... If I could get a day when we are home and can feed her in relative peace and quiet I might try and give it up.

Sazzles am deeply dissapointed at 2 errors in one message

CaptainCaveman · 02/01/2009 22:02

why are you grassing sazz up to the necklaces? ....

I gave up giving O a feed at 11 coz half the time I couldn't wake him, and if I did he still woke up again to feed later. I have now lost the plot with feeding so perhaps not the best person to judge..

oopsacoconut · 02/01/2009 22:03

Why is does Sazzles need a new pendant?

Who is Opps?

dizzydixies · 02/01/2009 22:04

can I brush it off as a deliberate mistake to see if you were all paying attention or am I not going to get away with that?!?
