TS the stats look lovely - totally agree we have indeed been blessed with our lo's.

I have a house that is full of shit needs decluttering, especially after Santa has filled it with more crap toys

BucketsofReindeerPoo · 27/12/2008 20:56

Had to post v funny video of my kids (for limited time only) on Facebook. It's pure Morecambe and Wise.

dizzyjingles · 27/12/2008 21:43

evening all!
haven't managed on the computer due to chaos of christmas but we had a lovely time and girls all doing well - have eaten far too much, managed not to drink too much - although had a bottle of pink champagne on Christmas Eve to celebrate out anny as DH has to work tonight

DD2 possibly has chicken pox due to a few suss spots but we'll see if that pans out in the morning

Dylan has stopped sleeping through so started her on solids today, fingers crossed for tonight

am going to have to spend a week clearing out this house just so I can clean it

TwilightSurfer · 27/12/2008 21:44

Captain, got your note but looks like you beat me here. I was ATTEMPTING to nap after my last post. It was a total failure and now DH is blazing mad. Ann take note....

DD1 has been quite the whiner all day and really pushing the limits. We managed to make it thru lunch out then off to wander aimlessly in DH's favorite sporting goods store. DD1 wants to touch or get on EVERYTHING in the store. Cue me giving the instuction STAY OFF THE EQUIPMENT once, twice, three hundred thousand times. DH standing by says, Oh I let her try it. AARRGGHH! Realizing she's playing us I grab her off the last piece of equipment and drag make walk unwillingly out the front door of the store to the car. Cue DH huffing out of frustration. Fast forward 30 minutes...We are home and I attempt to lie down with dd1. Reese immediately wakes (she was still in her carseat). She's hungrily grunting. DH gives her a dummie. DD1 gets up and tries to help. Cue DH scolding dd1. This goes back and forth for 20 maybe 30 minutes. SO GUESS WHAT I DID? I get up from under my warm covers, pick up Reese (he moved her from the carseat to the floor play mat), make her a bottle, give dd1 a quick smack on the backside and pointed her to her bedroom, then sat down here at my computer to feed Reese. DH standing in the middle of all this saying, "I got it. She's only be fussing for 2 minutes." He then huffed (like before) then plopped back down on the sofa to finish watching his show. I click on my computer....ONLY TO REALIZE I don't have my glasses on so I can't see a blasted thing on the screen. ARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

One bottle feed passes. DH calmed his jets and now has Reese as she pushes out what I'm assuming is a massive POOP! DD1 asleep in her bed.

Life ISN'T Easy even on the other side of the pond.

And YES, I'm ready to clean, organize or declutter. Might take note of that for future entrepreneurly venture. God help me but I LOVE doing stuff like that. That's why companies love bringing me onboard because I can do the same thing to work flow and system processes. I'm a BULLDOG about it too. I take NO FLACK and my favorite statement is YES IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE THE CHANGE!!!

Buckets THAT WAS AWESOME!!! Please keep it up for a little while. I want DD1 to see it. I know she'll want to invite your DD1 over to play and seeing as she's not bother at all by your DS1, she'll do quite well hanging together. My dd1 is a balanced mix of both your wonderful children.

OH OH OH that reminds me....
DD1 on our way home (after the misadventure in the sporting goods store) READ SEVERAL STREET SIGNS ALL BY HERSELF!!!!! 4.10y and she's figuring out words and sentences ALL BY HERSELF! I am so proud. She has horrible social skills but excellent reading skills (to that DH pointed out she'll do well in Solitary Confinement).

VG I am gearing up for an AWESOME START to the new year on the Hot Mamas thread. DH laughed at me today as I've been studying all the latest nutrition and exercise trends. I'm shining my pom poms and getting ready for a ROCKING YEAR.

That reminds me of one other thing. I scheduled myself for a facial for next Tuesday. I've never had one. Anyone have any pointers?

TwilightSurfer · 27/12/2008 22:05

Okay did I mention my new LOVE. AVEDA Carribean Collection spa stuff. OMG!! My skin feels like a million bucks and I've only been using it for two days. Here's a link.

oopsIstuffedaturkey · 27/12/2008 22:21

TS lie back close your eyes and ENJOY! that's how it's done.

Just posted on Hot Mamas - although I feel like hot blubber at the moment!

TwilightSurfer · 27/12/2008 22:52

Okay next question...
Has anyone ever had laser hair removal? Just looking over the services at my spa and wondering

BucketsofReindeerPoo · 27/12/2008 23:09

LOL it's Comedy 101: Straightman and saboteur.

Laser hair removal - would love to get my armpits 'thinned out' on a permanent basis if I could afford it. Also laser eye surgery but I have an astigmatism that makes it astronomical. Hoping for a less daft-looking version of Botox to come on the market in about 10yrs time...
Ooh this is a fun game, what surgical procedures would you all undergo if you had the money?

TwilightSurfer · 27/12/2008 23:13

I want to to have CoolGlide® Laser Hair Removal for legs, bikini and armpits AND Titan? Skin Tightening & LimeLight? Facial & Laser Genesis? Skin Therapy for my FACE. For explanations see this

TwilightSurfer · 27/12/2008 23:14

If I had all the money in the world to do it properly.

TwilightSurfer · 27/12/2008 23:15

I use to think I'd have a boob job but after my csection I doubt I'd put myself through something like that ON PURPOSE.

I almost had a boob job in my 20's. Just after my Mom's last bit of breast cancer, she and I sat with her doctor discussing my double mastecomy. He was sure no insurance company would pay anything towards it so the topic was left to die...much like my Mother. I AM NOT my Mother though. She was a Double D and fought yo-yo weight patterns...didn't eat very good things, etc etc. I'm thinking all those things contributed so I'm not as worried anymore.

TwilightSurfer · 27/12/2008 23:25

Have you ever watched a facelift? OUCH! I watch Dr. 90210 on tv and OMG I've learned soooo much. I know what I could withstand and what would push me over the top.

I'm NOT A BLADE person.

VG you would probably like all the things that I would like from my list. All are very non-evasive (I CAN NOT SPELL TONIGHT).

TwilightSurfer · 27/12/2008 23:28

No worries....at least no worries yet. Feel YOUR Boobies!! I get mammograms every year. I'm all good!

TwilightSurfer · 27/12/2008 23:29

Just lotioning myself up with AVEDA Caribbean Therapy Body Creme. YUM! I'm super moisturized now.
