I adore having my little boy . He's so lovely and smiley compared to dd as a baby, and my heart melts when he has a little chuckle with me.

Your pics are lovely. I really must put some more of ds on soon.

dd2 woke at 5am!!! So much for me saying she was in a fab routine anyway she had a bottle at 6 after she refussed to go back to sleep and is now asleep now but I think she will wake soon.

Will take dd2 to get weighed tues. LOL at you myjob with your dd in newborn when mine is in 3-6 months already! Not laughing in a bad way I mean, just in comparison to mine who is a beefcake!

jenwa · 24/01/2009 09:18

Pistachio Lovely pics, such cuties and love the bouncing chair too.

aubergenie · 24/01/2009 10:07

Lovely pics ladies!

Jenwa - your poor friend. I can't imagine how hard that must be.

We had a lovely day yesterday. I found a brilliant children's centre not far from my house and went to a baby massage class. S loved it and smiled and laughed all the way through. I've showed DH some of the movements so he can do it after ds's bathtime as that's their special time together.

Have a lovely weekend. No idea what we're doing as I'm exhausted after another awful night. It's good to know I'm not alone.

Honeymoonmummy · 24/01/2009 12:00

Hi all! Sorry to pester but could someone give me some advice re my posting at top of page 28 re swimming? I need to buy ear plugs today if I need them as may go swimming on Monday. I'm off for a long walk later hopefully, hope you all have a good weekend!

jenwa · 24/01/2009 12:41

honeymoonmummu I think that is sine for a swimsuit without anything underneath except swimming nappy of course!

Dont worry about ears, I dont think people tend to put ear plugs in children unless always under water or ear probs. She wont be under really so should be fine. Have fun swimming.

jenwa · 24/01/2009 12:41

whoops that was meant to say honeymoonmummy!!!! You knew that though

beautiful pics!
myjob - how scary about ds but you're right hte mouth heals incredibly fast!! Oh yes, remembering taking that pregnancy test now, too... thinking, it can't be, just rule it out... and look what we have now!

Not sure why everyone is so obsessed with weaning so early... a lot of people mention it to me, too... just leave me alone! My baby is fine!! Can't you see by how chubby he is, he's getting enough to eat

Jenwa I have blackberry too and it's hard to post on that and read messages because of zooming in and scrolling over to see the whole message...etc.

I'm so proud - I just put on a pair of trousers that I put on 3 weeks ago as well...3 weeks ago, I had to unbutton them to get them on and they fit just right... but today I have put them on and miraculously I don't have to undo the button at all, just pull them on!! And need a belt. I haven't been exercising more... must be all the stress of work - one good thing has come of it at least I HAVE been making a big effort to eat very healthily, though, so pat myself on back for that.

Ah, we were on a flight to our wedding and honeymoon a year ago today. We got married in Vegas with an Elvis impersonator in a 50's diner-style chapel, then went on a road trip up the California coastline in a rented vintage 60's VW camper van called Rell. It was ace.

I was pregnant by the time we flew back Funny thing was, we booked a venue for a wedding do in the UK before we left, and it ended up being the day after the 12 week point, so we told everyone at the wedding do. DH got to the end of his speech and said there's one more pic we want to show you of something we brought back from the USA and put up the scan pic of Poppy. Gives me tingles just thinking of it now

Thanks for the advice re the swimming. Don't worry too much about the diet MyJob, I'm no expert but it might be being affected by the breastfeeding?

Honeymoonmummy · 24/01/2009 17:49

Oh, has anyone got any good ideas for a 1 year wedding anniversary?

Honeymoonmummy · 24/01/2009 18:04

Er, as in an anniversary present!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/01/2009 18:18

1 year is traditionally paper isn't it, so tickets to something or a book. Haynes manual on parenting?

myjob - you probably aren't eating enough, so your body has gone into starvation mode, and is holding on to what you have because it thinks that it needs to.
