Here we are, finally made it to another thread.

Congratulations Sponge, that's exciting! How do you feel? Rotten?

Auntgriselda, Hasan is feeding loads! Usually wakes at 5.30 for leisurely breakfast, then mid morning snack, afters for lunch, mid afternoon snack, afters for tea, supper, evening snack, midnight snack. Ooh he's a so and so.

When I tried to cut him down he became more demanding at night He really howls if I turn him down So I haven't the heart turn him down (for now - am a softy walkover!)
The thing is I'm available and on tap all day and all night.
I'm resigned to going cold turkey because I think if I try to do it gradually it will prolong the agony. At the moment he eats well but not alot.
Once I stop he'll eat loads like his brother I think.

But keeping going until he is two if I can.

Still co sleeping with Hasan and ds2. They cuddle up together -very cute. I'm planning to eventually relocate to my own bed in the next few months too.

Cor really can't imagine having another little one now

No idea what to get him for Christmas......

I had a lovely time actually older ds' had bought me loads of pressies, chocs, flowers etc, ds2 made dinner for us all and I spent the day with mine own mad mother doing lunch and trawling antique shops, rather nice actually!!!

mygreatauntgriselda · 23/03/2009 12:32

Kitty - sounds lovely!

I need to talk to you actually - am looking for an 8 seater car - any recommendations?

(...and before you all ask, no I am NOT PG lol!!!)

kittywise · 23/03/2009 12:35

he he, well 8 eaters are quite hard to find, we have a nine seater, mercedes Vito

mygreatauntgriselda · 23/03/2009 16:09

Kitty thank for the info - yes I'v been googling 2 seaters day and there are hardly any. xxx

kittywise · 23/03/2009 17:11

Why do you want one ?(nosey)

mygreatauntgriselda · 24/03/2009 13:51

I took our Zafira in for a routine repair and its compliacetd, meaning the cost will be up tp 3K (engine problem)

So I might as well trade it in and upgrade. The Vito is lovely, but don't want to buy new one and can't find any 2nd hand apart from those with ultra low mileague or ultra high!!! Will keep researching.

There are 5 of us, plus I often give lifts to my Mu, disabled brother and my sister, meaning I need eight seats. Also I have several friends with 3 kids and it would be really handy to be able to go on outings togther (2 mums/6 kids) 'cos several friends also don't drive

hmmmmm

mygreatauntgriselda · 24/03/2009 13:52

Do you like the Vito? It might be too pricey for me, not sure yet though

How would you rate it - wanna do a quick 2 minute review of good/bad points for me?

kittywise · 24/03/2009 16:30

auntie, I can't think of a negative about the vito tbh. It's great to drive! The only downside I suppose is the size, but actually it doesn't bother me. You quickly learn to drive something that big.
Boot space is excellent.
We have rearranged the middle seats so that they face each other and have found that much more practical in terms of kids getting in and out and maximising floor space.
because it has a hard floor it's so much easier to keep clean, a quick sweep and mop and it's done

mygreatauntgriselda · 24/03/2009 17:38

Oooh it sounds excellent - now just gotta find the dosh lol!!!

mygreatauntgriselda · 27/03/2009 15:30

Kitty - just went with DH to test drive some cars. He said last night: "as long as its not Japanese or red, I don't mind what we get".

We put a desposit on a red Toyota Previa lol!!!

mygreatauntgriselda · 27/03/2009 15:30

kittywise · 31/03/2009 18:40

Hey auntie, car looks good!

How is everyone?

All my kids are ill and off school/nursery again

mygreatauntgriselda · 31/03/2009 18:50

Oh No you poor thing!! What a drag. When do they break for Easter?

kittywise · 01/04/2009 07:03

Friday. They've got high temps, sickness, Ron has a red, sticky eye as well. It's a pain.
When do yours break up?
I can't believe Ron is going to be 2 next week!

kiwibella · 01/04/2009 14:26

That's funny Kitty (not really) but we're all suffering too. In fact, five kiwi families went away together this past weekend and four of them came back vomitting. It was a great weekend until the return journey.

Off to perve at the new fox-mobile .

mygreatauntgriselda · 01/04/2009 16:09

Kii New Fox-mobile is here and I am feeling a deep and genuine love for it already. I was worried we might not bond, but as soon as we met I, felt an overwheleming unconditional lurve

Kitty we break up next Tuesdayand are off until 27 March!

SuperSillyus · 03/04/2009 20:17

hee hee lol at the deep and genuine car love

Well must confess I got sick of bf 15 times a day and in desperation to cure his addiction I tried coffee on my nipples which he seemed to like, so that didn't work, then I tried mustard and it's been great, it means I don't have to reject him, he rejects me cuz it's 'yucky' so it is yucky all day now and only 'not yucky' in the night and first thing in the morning. phew.

So he goes off to sleep without my help now at last.

He is turning into a little boy and starting to say more finally.

But he is trashing alot this past few weeks, worse than the others ever were. He has scribbled on all the walls and keeps wrecking things. And is too rough with the others. I am trying to be really calm and casual with him...give loads of positive attention and hoping the beastie will grow out of the trashing soon.

We are off for Easter now and I'm adoring the lovely weather. Off down south for most of the holidays and hoping to get lots of fresh sea air.

Hope everyone has a lovely Easter break and lots of chocolate of course

mygreatauntgriselda · 05/04/2009 14:37

Hope you have a fabby break "Mustard Nips"
if its any consolation, the Fat Toddler is identicle i his yobby behaviour - he has graffittied sveral rooms and regularly commits ABH on hs sister. e can often be seen chasing her round the house with a wooden spoon. When I tell him of he just giggles . Now she has two boys being mean to her

Callieco · 05/04/2009 21:04

ooh, I like the bunny smilies .

Well, the Easter chicks visited my house a bit early and left behind - chicken pox. Yes, Jordi looks like an acne-ridden teenager, bless him. I was supposed to be working today but he was too poorly to leave (and I've had night after night of him being awake for 2-3 hours in the middle of it, presumably a pre-amble to the spots coming out). They started on Thursday, but it's today he really seems to have started suffering. Joy oh joy. I can't stop itching either which is completely psychosomatic clearly. I'm praying he might sleep a bit better as I have to get up at six for work at seven. .

Kitty, hope your brood and Kiwi's are getting better, and happy driving AuntG.

Mustard nips, happy hols down south.

There, I think I've done the bunnies now.

kiwibella · 06/04/2009 23:20

Silly... that was a fabulous idea to use mustard. It's very, very tempting!!!

Also have an energetic tyrant here. Gosh, what is it with our babies?

Bless Jordi. Take some piccies for comparison when he is a spotty teenager .

cute smilies .
