2Happy - tractor in the Boots sale.
Apparently 75% off starts tomorrow. - Could be good for next xmas?!?!?!

Ok, enough with the my child eats more than yours stories! I obviously have an anorexic child...atlthough, he can scoff 4 fishfingers at a time.

Rgee - I wish it was air he was surviving on, it would make the nappies smell nicer!

Reggiee · 13/01/2009 20:06

Am gearing up for Boots sale tomorrow Lizz. Hope it is on. Just need to get there for 8am then back home in time for an early midwife appointment....

Wilkiepedia · 13/01/2009 20:23

Arghhh so much chat - I am shit at keeping up...here goes:

UD - J doesn't wake for food but shouts 'JUICE MUMMY' at me (usually about 3.30am) until I give in and get him some. Personally I wouldn't feed Z in the night, like EAH said, give him something filling like porridge or a cup of hot choc before bed to line his tummy.

Lizz - seriously, don't worry about DJ (why are we calling him DJ BTW, what is his middle name?) eating crap. As long as you keep offering variety I don't think it matters. J goes through phases, he is in a chocolate and crisps phase at the moment (aren't we all!?) but then he will eat really well.

Vino - hope E had a lovely day. I would be sobbing at 5.50am though. Nursery provide a teddy bear cake and party tea, I took a big bag of Magic Stars for the children to have too. My sis said I was evil sending him to nursery on his birthday!!

Katw3 - PMSL, I skimmed the bottom of your previous post and thought you were lusting after Dr M's black wig???! oh dear oh dear

2Happy - so sweet re brownies, J just wants to stick his fingers in anything I cook.

Not much to report here. Am enjoying work! V busy which is great. BF is in hospital with suspected lung clot - she is 10 weeks further along pg wise than me so very worried about her Plus she is not responding to my texts today which she has been doing so far and no answer at her house. Fingers crossed.

Little Boo is moving a bit more, keep getting random kicks but nothing DH can really feel. When does the proper 'booting' start - forgotten. My memory is absolutely embarrassingly dreadful at the mo too!

Right must go, lots to do...

xx

Thank you secret santa! V useful present! And thanks for sorting it EAH. x

Got Rachel's injections tommorrow and had a phone call to say that they were going to give me an appt for Luke for next week and did I want the appt at the same time instead. I was amazed at how organised and helpful the girl was considering she was working for the NHS!! So that should be fun tom Lots of calpol all round!

2happy I made a pizza with Ruth today and it was the first time she has helped me rather than trying to get her hands in the bin or pushing a chair to the sink to soak herself! Last year Luke helped me make the christmas cake and kept pouring in loads more of all the ingredients after I had weighed it all out. So an entire bag of flour, 6 whole nutmegs and the rest of a 1kg bag of dark sugar! Luckily I just caught him with the nutmeg otherwise I would have been none the wiser! Did warn anyone who had a piece to watch out though incase I missed any!

Urban- I started giving Ruth and Luke milky puddings like rice pudding, semolina, custard etc as even if they dont eat too much of tea the will always eat them and they are quite filling and resonably good for them. I am another who doesnt give food at night

Reggiee · 14/01/2009 04:04

Hmmm...pregnancy insomnia....I remember that now.....

Dragon hope the jabs go as well as you can expect !

Wilkie get well soon to your bf. This lo is much less active than Pip. Didn't feel properly until later on and only really this last three weeks I've been getting proper kicks.

Might try bed again now. Up in two hours. Yawn. Got mw later.

eandh · 14/01/2009 06:26

Rgee - good luck in boots sale and hope you got some sleep

DH - glad its all sorte4d and good luck for today

Wilkie - felt Hattie from 15 weeks but dh always seemed to miss her proper kicks but think he caught a few around 24-25 weeks

I am up and the girls ares still in bed I think I am so used to waking early now. Bedroom coming along nicely painted the ceiling, radiator, window sills and skirting yesterday and did 2nd coat of paint on 2 walls.

raisingrrrl · 14/01/2009 08:52

Well I stuffed Z full of food last night and he didn't start demanding his breakfast until half 7, which was more reasonable than half 2! He still ate an enormous breakfast though - no idea where he puts it all, it's not like he's fat, in fact I'm not sure he's 30lbs yet! My friend's 17 month old is much bigger and more solid than Z!

Don't suppose anyone watched "Too Fat To Toddle" last night? I'm really worried that I'm setting Z up for bad eating habits by giving him as much food as he wants. I know I'm probably being stupid but I don't know if he regulates his appetite properly. Gah! Stupid hormones making me worry (probably) needlessly.

Still having loads of BH's, and back pain, and on top of that toothache. Which is lovely. It's an abscess I had diagnosed just after i found out i was pg, and it needs root canal but they won't do it till after I give birth so I need to go and get anti-b's, but it means driving to Aylesbury with Z in tow. Never rains, does it? I'm so sick of being pg now.

Sorry to whinge on...

raisingrrrl · 14/01/2009 17:48

Hmph, no fair!

Reggiee · 14/01/2009 19:56

Eah - cheers for that. Funnily enough I found out about it today when the mw told me. She wasn't too sure what it was for, and I asked her if it was the healthy eating thing I'd heard about ages ago. I thought it would be means tested so I wouldn't be eligible but apparently not. I've filled in my form and look forward to spending my £190 on fags and booze carrots .

Oh Raisin, I am so trying not to think ahead to those last sloooww painful weeks. The end is in sight.

Am feeling quite knackeered now. Got back to sleep c 4.45am. Went to Boots for opening at 8am, then back home for mw, then back to Boots, then to work . Was quite restrained but got over £125 worth of stuff all for free (used my Boots points and still have some left).

Katw3kitts · 14/01/2009 22:01

Well, I went to Boots today but I think Reggiee had got there before me ! The shelves were bare. Go on .... what fantastic bargains did you buy then ?

Raison.. I think you need to turn off the telly, shut the PC down and go and do some knitting or something to stop your imagination working overtime

How's your friend Wilkie ?

2h, I've got the car back and the ice looks like its gone for now, so I'm up for a drive over those hills. I think Cragside is closed until easter but there's probably some lovely walks around rothbury, a good blast of fresh air might help you get some sleep maybe ? btw I'm crap with the back pack carrier thing now so pram or slow plod on foot for me !!

Took W to a local playgroup /nursery for a look around today, and he's booked in to start in September for 2 sessions a week eek !

Lizzzombie · 15/01/2009 08:27

Morning!
Well, I am so incredibly late this morning, it will make no difference if I go on here or not.

I got a Thomas plush toy thing which I would never normally buy but it was £4 instead of £17 or something silly. And a Thomas sound play mat thing (for xmas!) which was £6 from about £24.
I could have gone mad on the make up but restrained myself. I got the thomas bits online, it literally took 3 hours to order them! I was going bonkers, just pressing refresh everytime I passed the computer!

Big news is, that at 3.45am last night, after 45 minutes of screaming. DJ launched himself out of the cot. Big crash, I ran in to find him on the floor, a little bit shaken. So, that will be the cot sides coming off at the weekend then! Fun.

Wilkie - DJ is Dylan-Jack. He is known in RL as DJ, Deej, Dills. I thought I normally called him DJ on here. Hope that clears it up for you!

Right, off to work. Bleurgh. x

Nice ebaying PCF!
I have 8 people watching my rocking chair atm. Really hope it goes for a good price.

My boots purchases arrived just now. I only ordered them on Wednesday morning, and delivery was £2.89 Thats pretty flipping good!

I've just booked the bluebell railway trip for DJ's birthday trip too! Traintastic. Ugh.

Its very quiet on here. I am feeling lonely.
Yoo hoo....cooo-ee....anyone else around!?

Reggiee · 16/01/2009 11:49

I'm around...almost. Have told lo I am not going to play with her until she comes and gets her stinky nappy changed. She is amusing me with this new found two year old attitude though .

Ohh...looks like she's breaking

Reggiee · 16/01/2009 11:56

Hmm...maybe not.
I've not spoken to her for about 10 minutes but she is sat behind me brushing my hair telling me I look pretty
Shame she stinks....

laughalot · 16/01/2009 15:43

Hi just needed to find you all again ill be back x

eandh · 16/01/2009 19:23

Wilkiepedia · 16/01/2009 20:11

Bollocks - just opened my order from WHSmith which is a book box set for my friend's DS's birthday party tomorrow and they have sent the wrong pissing item.

WTF am I meant to do now - turn up to the party empty handed.

Sorry, am

eandh · 17/01/2009 06:48

wilkie - I'd either explain to friend whats happened or maybe put cash in the card with a note, personally I wouldnt mind if you had said what had happened (also if you ever see good bargains generic books/toys etc I
buy them in the sales and then have a drawer that I keep them in make fab emergency presents!)

2Happy · 17/01/2009 07:07

Happy birthday yesterday for George

How annoying Wilkie, but agree with eandh, I'm sure your friend will understand. How's your friend with the suspected bloood clot BTW?

Vino - love the idea of Santa bringing the birthday presents!

Lizz - 8 people watching your rocking chair - conjures up all sorts of images Thanks for the tractor link, though in an effort to branch out we're getting him a lego fire engine!

DH - mmmm, pizza with a whole nutmeg in, nom nom, lol!

Reg and PCF - bargaintastic both of you!!

Oh good grief. ds1 has just presented me with a bogey. Whyyyyyy????

eandh · 17/01/2009 11:21

Woo hoo its very quiet here Hattie asleep (despite me hoovering upstairs she plonked herself into bed and crashed) Ellie gone swimming with DH (he joined the gym and E & H get free membership so I'm because it looks a fab pool )

Dad just been and put my new curtain poles up and I've packed the girls cases for tonight and am dropping them off to my Mum and Dad at 1pm and then child free till tomorrow tea time although am going back to bed later after my stupid early start.

PCF - have you collected your table - are you pleased with it?

raisingrrrl · 17/01/2009 13:09

Right, can you all please tell me I'm being stupid and that BH's are not the same as normal contractions? Been having them on and off since yesterday morning, but they're not settling into any regular patterns. It's very painful. Been bouncing on the ball thingy (when Z lets me, anyway, he seems to think it is purely for his delight!) and taking a lot of baths but it's not really easing off.

Don't want baby to come yet - they'll put me in hospital.

I have eaten some chips and a packet of starburst and mopped the floors, I really wanted to sleep this afternoon so I could enjoy tonight but I can't seem to drop of
