Happy new year to you all.

Lol at bottles up the arse, ud.

2Happy · 31/12/2008 19:25

Happy 2009 !!!

Can I go to bed now, please?!!

Never been ones for Hogmanay really, and dh is on call anyway, plus on tomorrow so won't get any help with kids, plus it's still freezing.

eandh - love the pram story
UD FFS what is the demented bint's problem?! It's got nothing to do with her, no matter what her opinions on bfeeding, your children are yours. Deffo stick the teats where the sun don't shine!

Reg - Happy birthday P!! Hope she had a lovely day. Got to echo everyone else, though, how the hell did they get to be 2?????

Right, arsey day at work today, just ate my lunch just now (lovely dh bought it for me and dropped it off at work and had to just sit all afternoon knowing it was there but too flipping busy to eat it). Still, can only help the post-Christmas blulge.

ooh ooh ooh, before I forget!! Going to visit middlesis Darrrrn Saaaauuuuuffff (as I believe the techincal term is) so have had to buy a family railcard. Soooo, was thinking, will now be cheap(er) to get places on train. Like York. Or Leeds. Anyone for a meet up... or are you all too busy sprogging?!

Last of the year...first of the year

Hope all are well. I went to bed at 1.15am but dh didn't come up until 4.15am. Lo woke at 6.30 . I woke dh up at 10 and now he's gone to the footie . Have I mentioned that I am tired?

Wilkiepedia · 01/01/2009 21:22

Hello everyone and happy new year. Belated birthday greetings to P too.

Just off to bed in a bit, only got back from mum and dad's at 8.30pm, dived in the bath as house like an ice box and now ready for bedski.

Hope everyone had a lovely new year - personally it doesn't float my boat but managed to stop up until 12.10am then went straight to bed and sleep

Still suffering with MS - 17 weeks on SunDay FFS! Fed up with it now. Had triple test on Tues, get results in a week then 20 week scan 28/01. Feeling bit nervous, will be glad when all done and (hopefully) all OK.

Anyway, sorry for dull post but am very tired. Night night xx

shes talking about me I sold her ds and 5 games and it was all working fine (shes saying games do not loads and screen broken and low battery life) this is the most expensive thing I have ever sold and I wouldnt have sold it if it any of what she has said in her paypal dispute was correct (she saw my link on here and bought via ebay) I am so poorly (mild food poisoning and had the dd's all day on my own) and do not need this shit (am wondering whether she/her daughter has dropped it ) anyway going to contact paypal/royal mail tomorrow and find out the score (sent it special delivery but she recived it on 16th Dec and only raised the dispute today (God I could cry )

Wilkiepedia · 01/01/2009 21:37

EAH - - think about it rationally. She is trying it on. She know you are on her and is spineless enough not to contact you directly.

At worst you will recieve neg feedback (if she hasn't already left pos feedback).

Sod her, I think we can all vouch for you as a genuine, nice person who wouldn't sell shit to someone.

Plus screen broken - would she not have noticed that when she originally opened it?

Do not refund, write it off as bad experience and I think she is being incredibly spineless. Makes me

Would put something on there but LAL already has and if I do then makes it look like we are 'EAH's Gang' so will heckle from afar

OP posts:
eandh · 01/01/2009 21:42

Thanks wilkie - she said screen is damaged when trying to use it and on brain training you cant write numbers/link the numbers but I played brain training all the time (plus she said for her dd who is 6 so tbh may not have the clearest handwriting) I think I'll see what my rights are regarding the length of time she has had it (she did email me saying it was faulty but only today and after dispute was started) I am wondering whether to just escalate it so paypal sort the whole thing out, just so friggin frustrtaing

Oh and in my self absorbed moaning post I forgot to say (((hugs)) (know you love those hugs ) about the morning sickness I have had nausea all day from being ill and it sucks so I have full repsect for anyone with morning sickness (and is eternally grateful that didngt have any sickness with either of mine)

theSuburbanDryad · 02/01/2009 01:16

Agree 100% with Wilkie on this - she is trying it on. However, I do recognise the name, she is a regular poster and I think it's really out of order of her to ask on MN when she knows you post here.

Any dispute will ask why she hasn't contacted you first (are you sure she hasn't btw? Just asking because I started a dispute with a seller on eBay and it turned out all my previous emails had gone into their junk first, very annoying) and I can't see why a dispute would go in her favour tbh. Having said that, it would be well worth contacting PayPal and putting your side across and letting them sort it out - even if she emails you now (she says she has in that other thread) I'd be tempted to let the dispute run its course. The 56 day rule she mentions is mainly for items not turning up AFAIK.

RGee - Happy birthday Pip! I'm glad she had a lovely day - my poor child will be in nursery on his birthday!!

eandh · 02/01/2009 06:01

Thanks guys for you advice, woke up at 4.30am this morning thinking about this and she def hasnt contacted me before as we have the same ISP and had been communicating via the aol version of msn before I posted it (she won the item on the 6th but asked for time to pay so didnt actually pay till the 12th (friday) and I posted on the 15th (monday) she only emailed me after she staretd the dispute, I emailed back saying that I would reply via paypal as all correspondance would be logged then. I have put on the paypal thing that I am surprised its taken so long to contact me and that it was all fine when I posted it.

I'll contact paypal today and see what they say re the length of time I'll be gutted if I have to refund tbh as I'll be £100+ out of pocket and have a broken ds back this has completley put me off ebay etc think I'll stick to boot fairs and local paper etc as you demonstrate its def working and no comeback then

Right need to get ready for work first day back in almost 2 weeks (and I cannot get my head around the fact its Friday today am in such a pickle with days this week)

2Happy · 02/01/2009 11:13

Can I just say, have been to the supermarket this morning and it if full of bloody easter eggs!!!! Sheesh. It'll be stocing Chrstmas stuff again by June

eandh - sorry to hear about all this. Don't know enough about ebay to offer any advice, but it all seems a bit suss and on your behalf.

laughalot · 02/01/2009 18:46

Reggiee · 02/01/2009 19:08

Is it this one Lal?? My kitchen is orange so would probably go nicely on one wall. Bit too much for me though as it would my eyes go funny - I have very basic tastes .

Easter eggs . Did you buy any
Just been thinking about you 2H as we've just put lo in the big bed and new room for the first time. I have the Big Brother theme tune going round in my head with your posts from old. She's been there half an hour, and so far, not a peep. Not sure what will happen when she wakes up...

Eah agree with everyone else re the Ebay situation. I don't think you should back down. Hope today went well back to work. I'm back on Monday, but only approx 40 working says to go .

Hope you start to feel better soon Wilkie. I feel ok, but certainly not as good as I did with Pip. Still suffering from the cough disease 3 weeks on but no sickness. Think I may have diabetes though, although may just beparanoid given every health professional has put that idea in my head. My bump has grown ridiculously this last fortnight and I've gone from barely anything to about where I was when Pip was approx 34 weeks.

Lots of birthdays coming up on the 5th. What's everyone doing for them?

eandh · 02/01/2009 19:58

Evening, after talking to paypal and royal mail I have escalated her complaint and leaving it up to paypal to decide, Royal Mail will not look at any claim without the original packaging and I am assuming she doesnt have that I'm sceptical about the whole thing to be honest and just want to enjoy Hattie's birthday.

We're having a little lunch thing on Monday (a few of the Mums from preschool who have little ones same age as Hattie (in fact 3 of them are born within 3 weeks of each other) but I honestly think most of our families/friends have forgotton as she only has 5 cards so far (and pil's gave me her present today but I know what it is as I got it in the sales and they gave me the money for it ) My mum and dad popping in on sunday to see her as they are both working Monday. I nned to go shopping on Sunday and get some party food (and one of her friends has lots of allergies so after numerous texts between his mum and me I think I have a full list of food I can get to ensure he has the same as the others, just need to try and find some suitable cake to put in his party bag)

Am off to see my Nan with the girls tomorrow as we havent seen her in ages as she had pnemonia and then the girls had colds but fingers crossed everyone cold/germ free at the mo, my auntie will come over to see the girls and I think we are going to mcdonalds for lunch

eandh · 02/01/2009 19:59

I think its the stripy one down the page LAL is going for (she snet me on a mission to find stripy bold wallpaper as she couldnt find when googling and I found that site)

laughalot · 02/01/2009 20:33

Yep its the first one . Thanks x

Wilkiepedia · 02/01/2009 21:47

Got triple test results back today, 1:1700 EXACTLY the same as last time bizarrely.

LAL - have to say that wallpaper would escalate my MS at the mo

2H - EASTER EGGS!! FGS!

Reg - you didn't have a bump so maybe it was just time to grow a bit! I am loads bigger than I was last time with J - I would not have fitted into that wedding dress!!!! I have felt shite this time, pick up every bug going, headaches and MS. Had good old cry tonight - feel very down with feeling so naff all the time.

Vino - where are you????

OP posts:
theSuburbanDryad · 02/01/2009 22:48

We have the lurgey here too - my boss sent me home from work at 3 saying she was sick of me using all the tissues! Me and dh and Z are all down with this cold bug (although of course, dh is sooooo much worse than me - see here for demo)and it sucks. I gave Z medised tonight as I had no Calpol in the house - I know you're not supposed to give to under 3's now but he was so poorly and seemed much better after the paracetamol. Me and dh have been eating ice cream (for our sore throats) and watching DVD's. Been quite nice in a weird way.

Can't believe I've still got nearly 2 months to go. I am sooooooo ready to stop being pg now - feel like it's dragged on for years.

Sorry for my big long whinge. I'm going to go now.

MisterUrbanDryad · 03/01/2009 13:20

Hiya - just a quick note to say i am going to take a bit of a break from MN. It's taking up too much of my time and I don't feel like there's a space on the board for me anymore.

I'm sure I'll lurk on here from time to time though.

theSuburbanDryad · 03/01/2009 13:22

Arse - dh was still logged in. That was me really.

Hope to chat to you all before the baby comes.

Reggiee · 03/01/2009 19:07

Hi all

UD - why don't you just stick to the Jan07 gals to reduce amount of time on MN? Was a bit concerned about "I don't feel like there's a space on the board for me anymore" - is all ok? If you don't come back for a while, I hope Z has a lovely birthday whatever you do. Oh, and get well soon!

Wilkie good test results. How strange you had exactly the same.
Ohhh tea ready - hope to be back soon...
