Hi folks

Leaky, lovely to see you. Glad you are feeling a little better xx

POTC, what a pita re J not sleeping. Hope things improve somehow.

Any further news on Caz and M?

All ok here. Saw Mum and Dad today. Mum has labyrnthitis (sp) which is causing her no end of problems and hampering her recovery. She looked so frail, gaunt and exhausted. It was lovely to see them and they loved seeing the girls, but I feel so heavy-hearted about it all. I just hate seeing Mum so ill

Sorry for lack of personals. xx

elkiedee · 30/11/2008 22:05

SPB, sorry to hear you're not, but hope you succeed soon.

geordieminx · 01/12/2008 08:47

SOL - Hope your mum picks up soon

POTC - Did the boys settle in the end?

SPB - Definately more practice!

Thanks. She is in the N&N hospital. She has double pneumonia. Everyone at the farm is being fantastic. Helping with the kids and feeding them all! Still on a little oxygen and a drip, but so much better now. x

Have sent on your love and prayers x
Was thinking I will send a parcel to them, few bits and pieces to keep Caz going in the hospital. Any ideas for what to include? (I've got as far as chocolate )
If you want me to include a card with comments from you all I will, post them on here and I'll print and stick in to a card.

Doobydoo · 01/12/2008 13:08

bad news from Caz
Text at 17:32 today
"on children's ward and don't know when she will be out yet. They think she has picked up something else in here aswell and isn't getting better very quickly x"

Maveta · 01/12/2008 19:26

Oh potc please do send my love and thoughts, get well very very soon M xxx

Hugs to you too SOL, it is hard when you feel so helpless. Just vent whenever you need to, we are hear to listen x

liath · 01/12/2008 19:33

Poor wee M . Please send my love to caz as well, POTC. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in and she'll be on the mend ASAP. Typical hospital, though - yuo go in with one thing and end up catching something else.

SOL, it must be so upsetting seeing your mum like that. It would all feel so wrong to me, my mum is such a strong person.

Have a lovely break, GM - it'll be lovely to escape the cold I expect.

StealthPolarBear · 01/12/2008 19:42

Hi everyone
Poor M, hope she improves soon, so worrying for them
Mistletoe.... is mammyjo I assume - same MJ
Am quite insulted you all think I'm not good enough yet Have decided to do everything properly this time round so went out to buy pregnancy vitamins at lunchtime. Thought my old mutivitamins would do (despite being out of date) but they in fact have only half the folic acid in. With T it was when I stopped messing around and did everything properly that it happened

Doobydoo · 01/12/2008 20:53

Please send love and hugs to Caz POTC.X

MistletoeandJingleBells · 01/12/2008 21:02

Yes it's MJ! I just assumed the MJ initials would give me away, didn't think to explain myself last night!

SPB, good thing you got the pregnancy vits, regular ones have too much vitamin A in them for pregnant ladies

SOL, sorry to hear your mum isn't so good. Labyrinthitis is just awful. Hope she picks up again really soon xxx

Hope that M is doing better for Caz tonight, poor little thing. That was one thing that stressed me when I had my hospital stay, I was really scared that I would end up getting some other bug in there. Get well soon Molly xxx

That's me for tonight, night all xxx

AngeG · 01/12/2008 21:15

Hello all

Sorry no time for a proper catch up. We're all ill Jake was up being sick every half hour between 1.30 and 6.30am last night Needless to say I'm knackered.

POTC - Please pass on my love to Caz. Hope M is better soon.

SOL - Sorry to hear about your mum. Hope she's better soon.

Love to everyone else xxx

StealthPolarBear · 01/12/2008 21:18

Oh no ANge, bet you're all exhausted as well!

AngeGabriel · 01/12/2008 21:27

Just been changing to my Christmas name

SPB - Yes we are all exhausted...except Izzy, so far she has missed the bug, but I'm waiting for it!

I am going to bed now.

AngeGabriel · 01/12/2008 21:28

Meant to add, Night to anyone still around xx

Sexonlegs · 01/12/2008 21:46

Hi loves

POTC, please send my love to Caz and Molly, and thanks again for keeping us posted. What a nightmare for them; cannot think of anything worse.

Ange, lovely to see you; sorry you are all poorly.

SPB, glad you've got yourself sorted young lady

Dooby, what's up with your back?

MJ, love the new name How are you doing?

Hope everyone else is well. All ok here; just mad rushing about. Decided yesterday morning that we would invite the neighbours round for mulled wine and mince pies. That will be about 25 adults and about 10 children in the house. OH MY GOD!

seXMASonlegs · 02/12/2008 07:49

Morning

Last one last night and first this morning You all snowed in???

All ok here, although K awake for about an hour coughing and B up at 5 with a sore throat. Feel f**ed!

Must go. See you all later. xx

liath · 02/12/2008 07:58

No snow here .

Crap night here too, ds was crying & I have no idea why - ended up giving him calpol anyway & that seemed to do the trick. DH was on call so got woken by his phone going off in the wee hours too.

Hopefully we'll be putting the tree up today .

MavYourselfAMerryLittleXmas · 02/12/2008 08:34

Morning! Really going to try and do some work today

every sympathy to those whose little ones are under the weather/ up through the night. N has a terrible cold/cough but the humidifier in his room at night seems to be doing the trick for now so I've managed to hold myself back from the medised so far

Grim day here, really gray and looks like rain and I have to nip to the bank and am trying to gauge whether I should dash out now or if the heavens will suddenly open on my head.. decisions, decisions.

Since the cold weather set in here it seems like Ns excema is flaring up a bit. He had small patches here and there when he was a baby but nothing over the summer. But I'm not sure if it is excema or not.. actually.. he has tiny little patches here and there on his body but also these red marks on his face that seem to only really flare up angrily when he's out in the cold. I put cream on them at night and in the morning they have almost totally gone only to flare up again when he goes out. Any ideas???

geordieminx · 02/12/2008 08:40

Mav - C gets them if he wears any clothes that havent been washed after I bought them, or if they haven't been washed in non-bio washing stuff?

MavYourselfAMerryLittleXmas · 02/12/2008 08:56

ooh gmm just the girl.. do you know if the borders bookstore in glasgow is easy to find? I imagine so but want to check because am ordering a book to get sent there and will pick it up next week but don't want to have to go off on a hike to find it.. iykwim?

I don't think that can be it for N.. it would be weird that it's just now in winter when we always use the same powder and he doesn't have any brand new clothes at the mo. And wouldn't explain why his face is affected the most? Almost looks like windburn.

Still on for next wednesday? are you excited about bcn yet?

geordieminx · 02/12/2008 09:07

Yep, Borders is right on the corner of the main shopping street - couldnt miss it!!

Yep next Wed sounds great.

Excited but a bit stressed - am flying from Newcastle so need to drive down there - was supposed to go on Thursday but its forecast heavy snow . The main motorway that I would use is shut just now although some reports have said snow the others have said an accident.

Bramshott · 02/12/2008 09:36

So sorry to hear about poor Molly - sending love and hugs to Caz & M and the whole family. xxx
