SPB, is your af due or have you gone passed the day it was due?

V quiet here today.

B was fine, and tbh I think the school were a bit ott, but I guess they need to cover themselves.

Been to B's xmas fayre today which was lovely. Off to see Mum and Dad tomorrow for a cuppa.

Hope everyone is well. x

NameChaanger · 29/11/2008 22:11

poor little M. Thanks for passing on our love Pillock, and please keep us updated
Sorry Pillock wasn't accusing, I'd do it
don't really mind people knowing now it's -ve, just worried about RL people and wanted DH to be the first to know on the morning of his 30th birthday oh well...
SOL I think I'm on day 44. I think I can safely assume my cycle's not regular yet

Doobydoo · 29/11/2008 22:12

You v nice laydee

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/11/2008 22:14

Am cacking myself a bit at the thought of first having to find her house (the last place was at least 5 miles from any form of civilisation) and second having her 4 other children combined with my two but it'll be fiiiiiiiiiiiiine [gulp]

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/11/2008 22:14

OnceAPillockNowAnAngel · 29/11/2008 22:53

Do you like my christmas name?

elkiedee · 29/11/2008 23:20

POTC, you obviously are being an angel. Hope you find the house ok and that Molly gets better quickly.

NC, how far apart have you taken the tests? As you've said, your cycle isn't regular yet. My body told me I was pg about a week before the tests would confirm it this time round. And one of the May 2007 bunch had the same experience, several negative tests but tried again a few days later and I think sprog's due in March.

Sorry Dippy to hear that you're not feeling better, physically and emotionally.

And WR, that's a horrible dilemma over nights. How does your dh feel about working them? DP last worked nights long before D came along but I still dreaded them, especially waking nights as his epilepsy always flared up. I don't know how you and oooggs manage.

OnceAPillockNowAnAngel · 30/11/2008 00:25

Have updated my profile pics

NameChaanger · 30/11/2008 08:41

Lovely pictures! Mr Set-A-Date looks nice.
Well last night wasn't bad at all - T slept 9 till 5.30am! amazing
elkie, I took them days apart...suppose you could be right. The Cheap sainsbury's one said +ve but the 1st response one said -ve so that's why I thought it was more likely to be not! Have now had a few glasses of wine having not drunk since the end of October
I'll test again in a few days or maybe just wait until I have a bump

StealthPolarBear · 30/11/2008 10:11

well I now have conclusive proof that I'm not pg

StealthPolarBear · 30/11/2008 10:48

Argh T has headbutted e and given me a split lip. Have already been to work with cuts and bruises, they're going to think I'm a battered wife!

CaptainDippy · 30/11/2008 11:44

Poor Caz and M, prayers for them. So lovely of you to offer to help, PillockAngel () I have to admit, I find the more children I have, the easier it is - am I weird!!!?

Don't answer that!!

There's so much sickness etc going round atm I feel very blessed to have avoided it so far, my girls are pretty snotty, but we haven't have any time off school / day care yet. My dad's been very poorly with the Flu and last night my BF was rushed into hospital where they quickly wiped out her Appendix She is sore and in pain, but glad it is sorted now. Poor love.

Maveta · 30/11/2008 11:55

wow cd that is a lot going on round at yours!

ow to split lip spb and sorry re. the test results, lots more practicing for you

Hugs to m and Caz hope she has a speedy recovery. POTC you are a star! Have you booked flights to glasgow yet?

Can any of the scottish lot tell me exactly how many layers their kids are currently wearning? I need detail people!

thanks for all the lovely comments re. N´s now obvious intelligence way to put a positive spin on it April girls

Was looking at baby vids of n today and that´s about the only thing that makes me feel even remotely broody, he was so edible! SPB that talk of your cycle makes me think i should start to make a note of mine, really irregular even pre N I was noting it down about 18mths before we even thought of trying for N so might be a good idea to get an idea of what´s going on again.

disclaimer - this does not mean we are trying!! dh would be mortified to know it was even a far off twinkle in my eye!

StealthPolarBear · 30/11/2008 12:11

If you're doing that then you should prob take folic acid, if you're not already. Just in case, you understand

oooggs · 30/11/2008 12:12

come on more babies required

katy - don't try too hard - I know easier said than done - I talk from experience

Would you believeit? dts slept all night, both of them but ds1 woke me at 3.30am - he was scared then I couldn't get back to sleep - bloody typical . Ds1 now understands that a tired mummy is scarey than nightmares - so not to wake her

ellie - you start! hope Molly is better soon, please keep us up to date

nm - what a performance - I was always told you can't get a false positive

dippy - lots of snot here too [yuk]

Maveta · 30/11/2008 12:39

lol spb, really think it´s not on the cards for another year or so, how far in advance do they recommend you start with fa? Think even seeing the pill packet would give dh palpitations Quite seriously, he said the other day he actually can´t imagine having another one for a long long looong time. I just and said well we´ll argue that one once I decide i´m ready he doesn´t stand a chance, honestly, does he think he has a say or something?!

LOL at oooggs and scary mummy - great that the dts slept through. The last 2 nights n has slept til 7am!! the last time he started doing this we went away for a weekend and he was thrown out again, then started to sleep better and the clocks went back, now sleeping later and we´re about to go away so he´ll get thrown out again. AAAAAAARGH! So there are officially no more holidays for us EVER! I definitely prefer my sleep!

CaptainDippy · 30/11/2008 13:50

Ditto Maveta

LOL @ scary mummy oooggs

leakyR · 30/11/2008 13:52

Hello ladies

It's been a while and I haven't really caught up so excuse lack of personals.

Thinking of Caz and M. Hope she improves soon. PA you are indeed an angel!

Maveta I echo the and sympathy of the othere re N's door escapade. He does sound clever!

I'm clueless as to who NC is.But echo what Elkie said. I thought I was 2 weeks further on than I was and tested really early. Got some +ve and some -ve results but it's rare to get false +ve.

My sickness is slowly subsiding but I am absolutely knackered all the time!Especially on days when I'm at work. Have been overdoing things on days off as I was starting to feel like G was being shortchanged the quality time with mummy. Then realised I'm no good to anyone if I make myself ill and tired.

My mam came to stay this week. She is doing better. The divorce is going ahead but she's still in the unbearable position of having to share her home with my dad. I'm in the black books with him as I wrote him a letter explaining how I feel about him and what he's done. I do want him to have a relationship with his grandchildren, but he acts like nothing has happened when he sees or speaks to me and would never let me be honest with him about how I feel. He'd just shout me down or storm off. So it's done now and if I hurt him I'm sorry. but it's a drop in the ocean compared to what he's done over the last eleven years.

Off to NCT Christmas party at 3. Dh is coming too. Santa will be there I know it's not December yet but didn't want G to miss out.

CaptainDippy · 30/11/2008 14:01

Christmas parties are great I am feeling decidedly Festive already enjoy Leaky

over the situatio with your mum and dad - just hoping all can be resolved asap so she can get away from him and get some fresh perspective, iykwim!!? Glad you were able to spend some nice time together. Your dad is really missing out on his grandchildren, which makes me Silly man

Glad you are feeling a bit better too Keep resting whenever you can sweetie. xx

liath · 30/11/2008 15:49

Feeling festive here too - I put up the twinkly lights today, just couldn't wait any longer . DH has some time off tuesday so the tree will go up then hopefully.

Maveta - I took the kids out today and they were each wearing trousers plus fleece outer trousers, vest, long sleeved top, thick cardigan, fleece lined coat, hats, scarfs & gloves. It didn't get above freezing all day but was beautiful with sunny skies & frost everywhere.

Thinking of caz & M - hope she's on the mend soon.

Leaky, your dad is behaving appallingly .

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend, have to dash as dd & ds are competing to see who can whinge the loudest .

geordieminx · 30/11/2008 16:47

Mav - it has been really cold up here today -2 I think, C had jeans boots, long sleeve vest, tshirt, sweatshirt and coat, he wont wear hat or gloves...

It is cold, esp at the moment, just depends on what he is used to and also how much time you will be outdoors?#

Been checking the weather for Barca - a positively tropical 15 degrees - jeans and t-shirts for us

OnceAPillockNowAnAngel · 30/11/2008 19:29

I am screaming internally. I have had as much as I can take of J not sleeping. M is now in my room so that he can get some sleep, which means he either has to be moved when we go to bed, or it's the sofa tonight

I had hoped I might get them to sleep ok in the same room but it's obviously not going to happen, which means a complete change around of rooms and the downstairs room becoming a bedroom for someone - probably me.

AAARGH

And no, haven't booked my flights yet Maveta but fully intend to. Have been trying to decide whether to bring J with me or not, would be easier as then I don't have to arrange childcare for him for me to get my flight, but I'm not sure on the rules for tots flying and ID, and I'd quite like a day without them if I'm honest

MistletoeandJingleBells · 30/11/2008 21:02

Poor Caz and little M, hope they are both home very soon, send my love too Pillock.

Had a nose at your photos, so cute seeing you all loved up

Oooggs, can't imagine you being a scary mummy!

Leaky, fab to see you and glad the sickness is finally settling. Glad you managed to let your dad know how you feel, yes he is hurt, but so are you. I am sure it has done you good to get it all off your chest. Hope your mum is doing ok xx

NC, I am so sorry that you didn't get the result you wanted. Having said that, you will just have to keep practicing! Hope you are ok xx
