evening all

i am very pleased with myself.. i have finished my christmas shopping.
i havent spent anywhere near the amount i usually do AND ive got one extra child this year (i didnt buy for ellen last year, she was too little, she got a few token rattles lol)
same for christmas dinner, we are visiting rather than cooking this year. the only thing we have to fund will be the taxis as we dont drive.

speaking of driving, i got drenched in the rain again today, always reminds me that i COULD be in a nice warm car if only we could find the money to fund lessons for me... i hate rain!

big bump there tbelle, gosh that must be getting hard to lug around.
goodluck with ur ss pressie daisy sounds exciting, very that im not the recipeant!

educatingRia · 23/11/2008 18:38

lucky you natty. I am in a christmas shopping quandry (again), and I was only looking through the boots catalogue(again)

why are there no boys toiletry sets between ITNG and Lynx? Apart from Dalek bubble bath of course. I was thinking traditional "aunty" presents this year. I have 2 nieces and 4 nephews. Lots of pink sparkly/HSM to be had, but have only found a Roary the Racing Car set that would be OK for 2 nephews, but the others are older. I have my godson too. (I have bought his brother a vintage 1940s tie press!!!)

Hello, I'm back. Had journey from hell coming home today (combination of bad weather, traffic and a screaming toddler) and haven't had a chance to catch up yet, but should be back later.

NattyTantrumAndEarAche · 23/11/2008 18:56

im only done so easy ria because im only buying for mum dad sisters MIL BIL.. so not many to buy, and none of my sis or BIL have kids.. so quite easy really!

Hello All

Don't feel like ....we've all got grotty colds and feel awful. I've been feeling particularly sorry for myself as everyone can take decongestant and sleep expcept me ....so no sleep, very painful braxton hicks (probably co I haven't eaten or drunk anything yet today) and I'm 40 now, and believe me I feel it today ....

my bump hurts so much today and I've been moaning about it / in tears about it all day , and then I saw Tallulah's bump.....respect to you.....mine is nothing compared to that ....and your DD is gorgeous (and mine hasn't been today to say the least).

Strictly results and bed for me....

Sorry, that was a me me me post wasn't it!

I've also finished the Xmas shopping, that's the only thing I have achieved this weekend.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 23/11/2008 19:36

OK, feeling better after an "all day breakfast" type dinner of Cumberland sausage, eggs, beans and muffins

Natty - hope you get something sorted to help Thomas. Glad you got the swearing sorted at least, but the tantrums sound exhausting. And can you email me ([email protected]) your name and address so I can pass them on to your donor and then email you back with the details of your donee (if such a word exists?)

NattyTantrumAndEarAche · 23/11/2008 20:10

pregnany ok, just dragging on. i will relax once i get thru week 6, as seems to be my bodys danger week.

i just wanted to thank everyone for the concern and help that you have shown the last few days over thomas' SN, and how frustrated i have been feeling.
some really helpful suggestions, and lots of kind words, helps end the day on a happy note.
i am pleased to report that we had a most productive day today, i just hope once washing machine is back life will be back to normal.
i think what made the day better is we did our usual "load" of the machine this morning, and got him out the house b4 he realised that it wasnt actually washing... my be a conicedence but u never know with tom

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 23/11/2008 20:11

OK, I think that's everyone sorted now for Secret Santa, emails or Face Book messages are on their way to everyone affected by the changes.

I've got some RL stuff to catch up on after long weekend away. Might be abck later though.

trace2 · 23/11/2008 20:14

NattyTantrumAndEarAche · 23/11/2008 20:18

where the hell IS everyone...

LeakyDAISYcal · 23/11/2008 20:33

. My pressie is tailor made to the recipient and I was worried it would be changed for a moment there.

Hi Trace . Sorry you are feeling so glum about things; it must be really hard for you, but you seem so strong and cheerful all the time. How is DH? Is he coping with things any better? And how are Jack and Chloe?

Natty, the tantrums sound exhausting. I wish I had advice, but my DCs carrying on sounds mild in comparison. Have you asked on the SN board? there is lots of support on there.

Norty, belated Happy Birthday wishes for you, and I hope you are feeling better soon. At least you are in the home stretch now

trace2 · 23/11/2008 20:33

in bed me thinks lol thats where am going now i will try to catch up tomorrow

Sputnik · 23/11/2008 20:36

I'm here, for a bit.
Sorry to hear Chloe is no better Trace, did she not gain weight at least with the tube?
