Estate agents are coming round on tuesday when Dh is working from home, handyman doing 2 days of 'tarting up' next week, so hope it'll be on the market a week on Monday, at the latest.

Am really not looking forward to having to leave it clean and tidy constantly.

TALLULAHBELLE · 22/11/2008 19:59

Waht a shame Fairy, but at least it'll be easier to clean.

Will need to do some research Foxy. Have been looking at previous threads about breech delivery but haven't got round to starting up own thread yet.

FrazzledFairyFay · 22/11/2008 20:03

That is very true TB

FrazzledFairyFay · 22/11/2008 20:14

know it's ridiculously early but I am pooped so am going to bed. Good night TB and Foxy, and any lurkers

educatingRia · 22/11/2008 20:19

Gnite fairy.

Just a brief pop in and out as I'm off to study now.

I have to confess I'm glad the kids are in bed. DS1&2 have been shadowing me all bloody day, what are you doing, who are you ringing, who was that on the phone??? etc. Driving me mad!

DH at the hotel tonight. Hope the roads aren't too bad when he is driving home.

just a quickie from me for Tallulah.

My SIL delivered her (6lbs plus) DTs vaginally. T1 was head down, T2 was breech and delivered bum first.

I know everyone is different but I thought that knowing of someone in RL who had done it might give you some confidence in your ability to do it. She had had a very easy first labour with DNiece but not sure if that would have made a difference.

I have my SS project up and running . DH taking DS1 fishing tomorrow and DD is going to PILs so hopefully I'll get some more done tomorrow in between feeding and settling. Did we settle on a day for getting it posted out?

will catch up properly now.

TALLULAHBELLE · 22/11/2008 20:39

Thanks Daisy - will maybe pick your brains about it later when you've more time . Hope all going well with your wee smasher .

LeakyDAISYcal · 22/11/2008 20:48

feeding has been better today; definately not as painful and the thrush meds are kicking in so a lot more comfortable. We might just have turned a corner

DD has been great with him as well; although she calls him baby and refuses to say his name .

DS, after behaving really well has gone off the rails again, but he has told DH and I that he has been being bullied at school . Apparently the boy in question (from Y4) was punished for it this week but I'm a bit that the school never mentioned it to us. It sounds like it only went on for a week or so, so maybe the school take action first and only inform parents if it continues. Poor DS has been so full of aggression for the last wee while and very quick to burst into tears and the bed wetting is back after being dry at night for ages. But he never said a word of anything to us until Friday night. We're going to ask at school on Monday.

stil sorting DS1s room, and trying very hard to to throttle him. More bloody snow, so we haven't gone to his tennis match (his first one) and will be stuck in the bloody house all day.

No Ria - I meant the midwife site. SS not for me, would just be something else to add to my massive to-do list. I have cancelled Xmas this year & tbh am quite glad of the excuse to do so. Bah Humbug!

hello

we have downsized crshtmas as well this year. We are going to have a chicken and a meat joint and jsut do a sunday roast rather than all the ott stuff. DHs mum only eats chicken anyway (awkward, her?.....No )

I have decided on the best way of tackling my SS pressie and am very excited. Tis a whole new crafting experience for me and the possibilities are endless. Won't say any more though. Can we get the recipient to take and post a photo of the finished article so we can all see what everyone else has done/received?

sorry for tyyping; Fin is lying on one of my arms and hampering me somewhat.....he's also stopping mefrom getting on with my project!

DH is in the doghouse today. He had Fin downstairs with him and still managed tp sleep through him crying. God knows how long he's been screaming before I woke up, but he was red and sweaty and , so I stomped downstairs, cuddled the baby and then woke DH up rudely to inform him of his craptitude. Men just aren't hardwired to hear crying babies are they?

LeakyDAISYcal · 23/11/2008 12:56

PS i may want to take a raincheck on the photos of the SS pressies, depending how well it turns out

TALLULAHBELLE · 23/11/2008 13:37

Afternoon all. Just off to do some clearing up - is enforced nesting due to piles of crap everywhere, definitely not imminent delivery type stuff. If you feel like a laugh, I have put a couple of bump photos on my profile, I am humungous.

educatingRia · 23/11/2008 13:51

that is quite a sizeable bump Tbelle

Your DD is gorgeous. I love her hair.

I am finished in the pit of doom. There is floor and surfaces again, clean sheets and nicely tidied books etc. Though have not washed the floor. A couple more weeks and I can do it as part of my pre-xmas clean. DS2s room to do tomorrow

DH & I really want to host christmas at our house this year. DF&M are going away on 30th Dec so not keen on doing it at theirs, and Dsis said "hmm that causes a problem". I don't know why, she claimed she loved doing it last time. DM has already said that if it meant I had to she would rather do it herself (I think that is not a reflection on my cooking/hostessing skills, just the effort involved). I know she would be happy to share the cost of the food if we asked. I am hoping DH gets a job (this week) then we can invite them. Although DH has said if we do it we could invite PILs too (he is almost certain they wouldn't come - big risk though) Anyway, my only effort would be cleaning and tidying. DH would do all the food

Is your DF a Minister butterfly?
