I haven't this week cos too tired and busy. But I will set the alarm for tomorrow morning.

whether or not I go depends on how much ice is on the car. I don't mind going to the gym at 6, but I'm not scraping the car windscreen before I go!

Sputnik · 12/12/2008 21:38

Surely you should be jogging to the gym Foxy

ImDreamingOfANortyXmas · 12/12/2008 21:47

Blimey, sounds a bit energetic to me

Ohforfoxsake · 12/12/2008 21:48

too dark at that time of day

ImDreamingOfANortyXmas · 12/12/2008 21:49

Don't scrape ice....start the car 20 mins early and chuck luke warm water over it....that's what I do

ImDreamingOfANortyXmas · 12/12/2008 21:58

Do you think DD is a bit young for this or am I too old?

ImDreamingOfANortyXmas · 12/12/2008 22:00

Sod it.....even if she doesn't like it, I'll love it....that's why I had children so I can go to things like this and buy Disney DVDs without looking a prat

Sputnik · 12/12/2008 22:17

That looks like fun Norty, but more the animals than the Santa bit

ImDreamingOfANortyXmas · 12/12/2008 22:22

mmmmm yes I'd be going for the animals. Wanted to go and see the reindeer herd in the Cairngorms when we were up there....but wasn't suitable for DD or me really.....might be pretty busy though!

time for Gaviscon and milk for me....night x

HaveYourselfAJammyLittleXmas · 12/12/2008 22:49

That looks fab Norty. I'm sure DD will enjoy it, though probably even more so next year

We're going on a local tourist train ride on Sunday who are doing a Santa special, where under 8s get to see Santa on board and get a present from him. I think it is more for me and my parents enjoyment than jamlet's but I hope she'll like it too.

Morning. Shite weather isn't it? DH at work today and my car is out of action, so today will involve a lot of MN and ITNG!

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 13/12/2008 10:10

Peeing down here as well bumper. Is there flooding near you or is it further south? We are doing house stuff today and hopefully getting the tree up and decorated.

I've sent DH off to IKEA to buy a cot this morning (no doubt he will be completely frazzled when he gets back). I'm going to put it side car by the bed so we can "co-sleep" as DS2 and I have both had better nights the last couple when he has been in the bed beside me. And this way DH can come back in the marital bed. He better not get any funny ideas though

The older two are driving me bonkers already today, so I'm hiding here from my kids for five minutes.

So much for my big morning of domestic godessishness. Feeling queasy in the belly and with a squitty behind again

Oh, sorry you are not feeling well Jammy.

We have a missing crayon situation. This does not end well.

Oh dear bumper. has she definately eaten it and not squirreled it away somewhere? It'll be all over her teeth if she has been biting it as it sticks like buggery to shiny surfaces.

Console yourself with the fact that they are non-toxic!

Butterfly, he usually takes DS1 with him, but he thought that IKEA this close to Christmas might have been a bit much; that and he needed to go to Toys'R'Us which is next door to get some Star Wars tat for DS1's stocking.

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 13/12/2008 14:44

RIA......

I was just thinking about you this morning and nhave been meaning to text you and make sure you were still alive and not buried in a snowdrift....but baby brain, you know

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 13/12/2008 14:45

gotta go tidy my room; I'm being told off by DH!!!

Ohforfoxsake · 13/12/2008 14:52

IME you know beyond all reasonable doubt if they've chewed a crayon.

No gym for me. I set the alarm, which went off at midnight, then spent the night hopping from bed to bed avoiding DPs snoring, or being elbowed in the throat by DC2 and finally being fetched by DD1, getting back into my bed at 4 and kicking DP out, so snuggly sleep with DD1 until 'is it time to get up yet?' at 6.

So I went to M&S and bought two lots of 'dine in for a tenner' meals, which this week includes a bottle of cava

GHD straightners are brilliant Butterfly. Even the thin ones don't take long, and I have shitty wavy hair which it tackles brilliantly.

Are you still with me, or have I sent you all to sleep with my droning on?

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 13/12/2008 14:55

Hello ria!

No, I'm not worried that she's eaten it, I'm more concerned that I get to it before she does. We live in a rented flat and I fear crayon on the walls!

No sign yet!

baby-bel wrappers - the waxy bit, melted in the car. I feel your pain, Butterfly.

Good luck with the search Bumper.
