Nah, it's not that Daisy - she never gets left in her room on her own and hasn't worked out how to climb onto grown up furniture (yet!) anyway. All I can think is that DH dropped one on the floor and decided that meant it was dirty (yes, he might just do that) and put it on the wash pile. Either that oe I really am a slovernly mother

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 08/12/2008 21:49

FrazzledFairyFay · 09/12/2008 15:48

Hello everyone. Great news on the house Natty.

Jammy, I'd love to meet up but that's our only child-free packing day, and we move on 21st, so not a hope of escaping, unfortunately . Maybe next time.

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 09/12/2008 19:31

im def up for coming if hubby isnt working. is it child friendly if not?
where we going?

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 09/12/2008 21:18

oooh, it's quiet here today.

Have had the PILs to entertain and then one of DS's schoolfriends for tea and then DH went shopping and I was on my own with a scrouchy (new word....cross between screaming and grouchy) baby who wouldn't be put down and screamed in the sling. DH home now so he has the scrouchy baby for a bit.

and that's my news

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 09/12/2008 21:23

aw daisy sorry baby F is causing so much upset lately.

i have had a bad day too.. have posted in AIBU but still feel the need to rant!!
my friend borrowed my maternity clothes afteri had ellen, and is now refusing to give them back, so i have to buy a whole new wardrobe for potentially my last pregnancy!

and thats my news!

Blimy Butterfly, you are a one woman bath bomb factory

Well Baby Sputnik seems finally on the mend, just when we finally got to the docs today (it was a public holiday here yesterday). She gave him ABs anyway as he still has infection. He hasn't eaten solid food for a week now, so I'm hoping his apetite will pick up tomorrow. He lost quite a bit of blubber. Wish I could say the same for me.

Arse about your maternity clothes Natty. When do you hear for definite about this new house?

ImDreamingOfANortyXmas · 09/12/2008 21:56

Glad he's improving Sputnik.....its horrible when they go off their food like that.

DD had a 10 minute stamping her feet and screaming session earlier cos she couldn't have another chocolate out of her advent calandar....well that was a good idea wasn't it

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 09/12/2008 22:34

we find out end of week, landlady is assuring me that its just a formality, and not to worry.
i purposly picked someone with a kid, and a lady aswell this time, as ive been laying it on thick about being homeless 2 days b4 xmas if this doesnt go through.
i think she likes me, we are just waiting for DH's work to send confirmation of emplyment, andfor her to speak to our previous landlord.

lol sputnik ellen does that EVERYDAY, i will be glad for xmas to be over justfor the calendars to be empty!

Morning all. At 10 o'clock I'm having the main session of my root canal treatment. She said it would be at least an hour and a half, but to allow 2 hours! Thankfully DH can take some time out of work to look after Jamlet.

Beginning to get stressed by stuff to be done for Christmas. Largely because most of them need to be done (or I feel they need to be done) by this weekend. My parents are coming this weekend to exchange presents as we won't see them at Christmas itself, so they all need to be wrapped and I'd like to get the cards in the post, so they need to be written, and I should make the cake, and still need to finish my SS project!

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 10/12/2008 09:50

Norty, that's why we didn't get a calendar for DD! That and DS1 having one is something that's just for him and him alone.

and I didn't want to give DD anything else to tantrum about; she has enough to be going on with, including a 15 minute paddy this morning because she wanted a snack. She was sitting in her little chair trying to put the tray on it and screaming snack and baning it around. But. I was feeding F at the time so couldn't do anything other than ignore her.

She is in bed now as she had a horrible night and has a little of F's scrouchiness. And she slapped me in the face as well. I thought she was asleep but no.

Sputnik, glad DS is on the mend. It's horrible when they won't eat.

Natty good luck with the house and arse to your friend. I have some maternity stuff I could pass on to you, but it's mostly all size 16, and I know you are a wee petite thing.

Ohforfoxsake · 10/12/2008 10:37

Natty what size are you? My maternity stuff is currently in my friends car waiting to go to the charity shop. I can get it back off her and drop it over. (don't know when, but I will)

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 10/12/2008 10:54

poor jammy.....under the drill at the minute. I hope it isn't too sore.

I am so bloody knackered. DH has gone off fishing for the day. Great huh....where's my fecking day off?
