I have been wearing my baby this afternoon . I tried out the baby buddha sling Sputnik. He liked it in the upright position but when I tried to lie him down (womb with a view, lol) he just screamed and screamed, so that one not a success. It all felt very tight and squished up (on account of me being fat and him being massive).

I wasn't very clued up in 1981. I had to ask my mum what a ra-ra skirt was. She didn't know. I think that was when I realised that mum's don't know everything.

Jamlet had a little soup at tea time (all she's eaten today) then fell asleep on me. So I took her up to bed at 5.45 and she was asleep by 6. Poor little thing. I fear I may be in for an early start tomorrow though after all the sleep she's had today. Either that or it will be a long and broken night.

Well, work's done (I was working on sewers tonight, living up to my non-seasonal name) and DH has gone to get us pizza from the supermarket as neither of us can be arsed to cook much. Jamlet is whinging a bit, but I just took her up some milk which she didn't have earlier and checked her temp which is now normal, so we had a cuddle and I am hoping she will settle herself soon.

I'm having a little quiet time while Jamlet naps. Have just been doing a little bit of crafting and am now planning our weekend - DH is away so it's just us girls. I think we will go meet my Mum and Sister tomorrow - they are on a shopping weekend away not too far from us and my sister suggested we go to meet them, but we haven't told my Mum, so hopefully it'll be a nice surprise for her when we "bump into" them.

I do norty. I'm just a lazy bugger and haven't done it yet!

I have mastitis . Feeding was very very painful through the night and when I've had a look this morning I have red lines all over my boob extending from the nipple. Arse wank bollocks as it'll need antibiotics and then I've no hope of getting rid of the thrush, which from my understanding of kellymom, as I haven't had a blocked duct it's likely that that the thrush infection has led to the mastitis. Ever felt like you were on a roundabout and can't get off?
