We ren't actually going to move in until about 28th. We were lways going to sty with my prents for 4 or 5 days over Xmas, so we're just extending tht bit nd it gives Dh and I a few days to sort things out and unpck a bit before we move in, with willing babysitters on hand. That is the theory at least......

DD is scared of Father Christmas, so we've told her that the Snowmn will be delivering her presents to her grandparents' house and she seems perfectly happy with tht explntion

I too would like to know if I upset anyone. I'm not leaving anytime soon.

I hope Holly is ok. She sounded very stressed out with DP's work situation, etc last time she was on - very understandably.

Fairy....we're not taking DD this year to see Father Xmas, as I suspect she will scream....will do all that next year. Sounds like a plan to me with moving

Jamlet has gone to bed again. She had a flurry of activity after lunch, then got worn out about half an hour ago. So I've had a nice sit down with the paper and a mug of Horlicks I really know how to have a good time!

Thanks for birthday wishes . Feeling bit down in the dumps, not fun turning (whispers) 40 & not being able to get blootered to numb the pain! Still on the bright side, I can eat lots of birthday cake safe in the knowledge that I can't really get much fatter than I am now .

FFS.....DD obviously wanted her crayons...but decided to use a black eye-liner instead.....she's drawn on her bloody face with it....better inspect the walls and furniture before daddy gets home
