Evening all.
Daisy, your DD looks just like you. F is gorgeous

Re potty training, Tallulah I would leave it. Having an extra DC in nappies is nothing to the stress of trying to potty train a not yet 2 year old. If your DM and DF are so keen let them do it!

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 02/12/2008 20:39

just had a peek daisy, your dd looks so grown up and DS2 looks huge!

agree totally sputnik b4 two is too early, i will be happy to have all three in nappies if need be, wont cost me money just means more washing, but thats ok lol

TALLULAHBELLE · 02/12/2008 20:43

Agree Sputnik. They would do it though, given half the chance, just to prove that the 'old ways' are the best!

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 02/12/2008 20:48

ah my mums the same.. telling me i needed to have put ellen in a routine when she was born the other day. like its got anything to do with her lol

LeakyDAISYcal · 02/12/2008 21:17

poor DD

bumba is being unsettled again this evening. He is lying over DHs lap being patted. As long as the patting continues he is quiet. As soon as DH stops the groaning and moaning starts up again.

We are taking it in shifts to avoid RSI developing!!

It's a fair point about waiting until summer to potty train; I hadn't thought of that. I think I'll get a book for her that shows a baby on a potty. she seems to be of the opinion that it's some kind of snazzy hat

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 02/12/2008 21:37

lol thats kids for you ellen does that with the insert for toms lol
was also thinking daisy that accidents in a summer dress far less problematic than with a vest coat trousers shoes socks on? in this cold cold weather we're having as well! i keep getting images of tom having an accident in the middle of croydon highstreet and getting a chill from it

summer is better me thinks..

plus i have a sneaking suspision toms wets himself for attention... new baby = want more attention... maybe not a good idea to combine the two?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 03/12/2008 12:35

Well, I've spent the morning practising what to do if a nuclear power plant blows up, that's whay I've not been on MN. What's your excuse?

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 03/12/2008 13:11

someone is trying to fuck me over..

tax credits have written to me to tell me that they going to be 'investigating' my claim

great, bet they will say we've been over paid. so thats council tax housing benefit and tax credits..
like iver been living a life of luxurary the last year. we havent had two pennys to rub together..

im so sick of this

i have to go back to work, i cant have ppl writing to me every week saying we owe them this we owe them that, fucking benefit system

and the bank have written to tell me that even tho THEY authorised the overdraft, its effected our credit rating so we cant have bank cards anymore
and this is all because someone stole 700 pounds out of our account.

great

i am very

so been trying not to come on here and rant, but i have to!

LeakyDAISYcal · 03/12/2008 13:43

pmsl jammy.

I have been dealing with the nuclear explosion that is DS2's nappies

and writing Christmas cards.

It's a winter wonderland here today and we are going to get more snow overnight . It has frozen now though so it's very crunchy and slippy underfoot.

Ohforfoxsake · 03/12/2008 13:48

Rant away Natty.

Then call the CAB.

LeakyDAISYcal · 03/12/2008 13:49

missed your post natty as i didn't refresh the screen.

not sure what to say....if the money was taken fraudulently and if the bank have authorised your overdraft then it shouldn't affect your credit rating as far as I'm aware.

arse to the tax credits ...i ended up owing them money due to overpayment and it took two years for them to sort it out. i filled out six separate DD mandates and was still getting threatening letters from them. they have prolly made a mistake!

LeakyDAISYcal · 03/12/2008 13:50

yup, call the CAB.

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 03/12/2008 14:01

i will do, but in the mean time i cant pay any bills, cos i ususally pay by card over the phone, so im getting tons of phone calls demanding money ahhhh!
and of course my credit rating is now being effected by the fact i cant clear my bills ontime

and im sick

Ohforfoxsake · 03/12/2008 14:12

Oh Natty. I don't know what else to say

Here to listed though.

Ohforfoxsake · 03/12/2008 14:12

Listen. Although I'll listed too, if you want

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 03/12/2008 14:15

i just cant cope anymore

Ohforfoxsake · 03/12/2008 14:21

Yes you can Natty. You are an incredibly positive person. You are having a shit hand dealt at the moment. But you will get through it.

I think you need to get onto your bank and get that £700 sorted, and have them amend your credit record.

Who do you bank with? Try saynoto0870.com to get their head office direct number, then speak to someone in customer care. they allowed someone to rip you off, so they should be responsible.

CAB will help you. Call them and make an appointment.

Once you start the ball rolling, things will seem more positive. I promise.

And if you don't do it now, because you need to lie down and cry, promise yourself you will do it first thing tomorrow, and take back the control.

don't let the fuckers get you down.

trace2 · 03/12/2008 14:23

oh natty so sorry, but like daisy says they carnt stop your overdraft or cards because of some one stealing your money its not your fault! and as for tax credits tell them they carnt take money you not got i owed them money as they paid us to much, but i asked for a reveiw and told them it was not my fault they paid to much was theres,i was told after 2 years i won the case so didnt need to pay back, go to cab they should help, are you on income suport? if so go foe an emergency payment to help you out.

Ohforfoxsake · 03/12/2008 14:35

ahh, they've set a precedent there then! If you know they have accepted responsibility for the same mistake for someone else, you can argue you deserve the same treatment!

How are you doing Trace? How are your DCs?

LeakyDAISYcal · 03/12/2008 15:37

bargains galore

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 03/12/2008 16:00

ok feeling a bit more normal.. had a rant! lol
i rang my mum, shes always good for calming me down.
have reported the bank to the finacial obusman when i rang them and told them that they assured me that my cards would be dispatched today.
well we'll see if they come but it did seem to shake them up PMSL!!
