Wow those scan photos are really detailed Norty. It's lovely to see the face isn't it. FWIW we go a glimpse of DS's face in the scan, and he ooked just like DD as a newborn, so who knows!

Nice pics of your DD too Jammy.

Next time I'm using the desktop, where all our photos are, I will stick some on FB.

Ohforfoxsake · 30/11/2008 19:33

Daisy, can you borrow a swing from any baby-mates? Meant to be good for cranky windy babies. was the only thing DD2 would settle in some days.

Natty, I thought of you today. Read something in paper that if Landlord doesn't do work in a reasonable amount of time he might be in breach of contract. So you could go to the Council and get them to help you out. There's a thread on here about a similar situation if you search. But I suspect you just want out and put it behind you

Yes, Norty. Gutted here.

Am going to have a look at your pics now

Sputnik · 30/11/2008 19:39

Yes baby swings are fab fab fab. Wish I'd had 1 with DD.

Bumperlicious · 30/11/2008 19:43

Evening my lovelies

Hmmm, so I still don't know what I'm doing for SS.

NattyTirednessAndExhaustion · 30/11/2008 19:55

ah yes baby swing worked with thomas forgot to say that daisy.. he slept in it alot of nights he wouldnt settle.. get one they are worth it, and resale is fairly good.. (i might even pinch it off you )

veiwing was fantastic the property is in bromley and about 10 min walk from my best friends house, its small but its a house not a flat. we are going to go for it, moving next monday as long as he is happy with our referances.

ellen has been a bit better today, she is NOT sleeping in my bed tonight, she is grizzling in bed atm, im resolved not to give in, as she hasnt run a tempreture all day and im sure she is milking it little madam

didnt need the calpol in the end, but i will def be signing up to the scheme when we move, but we are moving quite a way away so ive got to change doctors and everything.

groan!!

but i will have a friend close by that can drive me to the hospital when LO puts in an apperance.

i am nearly 8 weeks now, got a scan on thursday, feeling a bit more positive, but wont relax till ive seen my little bubba

Ohforfoxsake · 30/11/2008 20:08

Those photos are amaaaaazing Norty. How jealous am I?!!

I like Bromley Natty - nice around there, and good shopping

had a really nice day here- went to he gym this morning, out for lunch (I went on a cooking strike today!) did some craft with DD1 while the boys watched the footy and DD2 slept, then had a lovely undisturbed bath (in which I drank tea and ate cake, and read the Sunday mags), then beans on toast for tea, and DP now gone out. So all round, a good day

now going to get the choc pud out of the microwave and dish up the ice cream.

and I'll be back at the gym tomorrow morning

NattyTirednessAndExhaustion · 30/11/2008 20:28

Bumperlicious · 30/11/2008 21:11

I'm well impressed at your gyming foxy! Hope your hamper comes, I had a look at that thread but didn't fancy my chances.

Ohforfoxsake · 30/11/2008 21:15

I used Paypal, just in case of anything dodge Natty.

Bumper, during the week I'm there for 6.30 in the morning. insane.

I feel a bit guilty about the hamper.

NattyTirednessAndExhaustion · 30/11/2008 21:18

Ohforfoxsake · 30/11/2008 21:22

Got my advent calendars up

Its too early for a tree, isn't it?

LittleMissNorty · 30/11/2008 21:33

We've just put DDs calendar up as well ....tree and decs next weekend.

Daisy, I've got a baby swing....and they are bloody fantastic. Well worth it - we had to buy a job lot of batteries from e-bay though.

Lovely pics Jammy.

Had some lovely pics from scan today including one with eyes open and a big yawn. Some of them are a bit spooky though....she/he had arm in front of its face and as it was a scan, it looked like it was dismembered...Adams family

Bumperlicious · 30/11/2008 21:35

Farking hell foxy, that's impressive, well done you!

Mmmm, advent calenders... Right, I'm off to get into bed and read. Night all x

LeakyDAISYcal · 30/11/2008 21:45

bugger, by the time I looked at the hamper site at 9.05 they had realised their mistake and everything was at the correct price. Good Luck for getting one foxy.

Our advent calendar (a non chocolate educational one!) is up and ready to go.

Tree not going up until the 14th here.....when we get round to buying a little one that can go on the sideboard to stop DD from destroying it.

Bumba (DD's name for DS2 ) has been cluster feeding all evening after his sleepathon of today. I'm sure he must be well over 10lbs already.

LeakyDAISYcal · 30/11/2008 21:48

scan pics look great Norty

fingers crossed you get the flat natty. orange bathroom suites are reto-chic doncha know....just like my avocado one

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 30/11/2008 21:51

I uswed to gym and/or swim at 6.30am 3 or 4 times a week before having jamlet. And I would walk between 8 and 20 miles a week. Now - nothing! I MUST sort myself out

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 30/11/2008 21:54

OK I am off to look at the gym and pool timetables and then to bed. Night all.

NattyTirednessAndExhaustion · 30/11/2008 22:06

ah i never spend no time in the bathroom anymore.. lucky if i can have a pee in peace without shouting "stop fighting you two" or "its in the cupboard where u left it"

Ohforfoxsake · 30/11/2008 22:20

LOL Natty!

LeakyDAISYcal · 30/11/2008 22:34

and we'll try the swing idea, thank. We have lent stuff to a friend of ours who has one of those swings, so I'll ask if we can borrow it from her.

although...he seems much more settled over the last few days.

his tongue is still coated with thrush though (the nystatin seems to have stopped working) though and I have the tell tale twinge back in my boob again . Doctors for us both again tomorrow.
