And the rocker becomes a ride on too so double the fun!

Yes am hoping she likes the table as she is good at moving along things now.

Stocking she has a book , rag doll and will tie a couple of helium balloons to it!

What has everyone else got ?????

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 06/12/2008 20:58

MM the trampolines are great. Ds had one but we put it outside and it got all rusty so one for indoors.

simpsonsChristmasSpecial · 06/12/2008 20:58

Madmouse - Hope Nathan better soon. We are all going down with coughs here, just when we have got over colds. Grrr.

Lucky - For DD's first birthday am getting a fisher price buggy. Can't do links sorry but its £25, pink and its a walker as well...weighted at bottom to stop it going too fast. Think Mothercare sell it. You might find it in Woolies sale!!

Lilyloo - £14 Oh well...if you had had a night out you would have spent more

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 06/12/2008 21:02

And they were the cheapest so the dc better like heart and star shaped sandwiches , cakes , biscuits etc lol

AaliyahsFirstXmas · 06/12/2008 21:02

Hmmm will look in woolies tomorrow. DD has already got a walker and HATES it. She wants to walk without the walker IYKWIM. Although she loves her pushalong walker. I want to get a wooden one with bricks in it..... like this but I think that's too much money.
I love this too but definatly too much money.

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 06/12/2008 21:05

Lucky put local bargain finder into your search there will be walkers close to you for collection ?

simpsonsChristmasSpecial · 06/12/2008 21:10

Lilyloo - LOL. They will be eating shaped sandwiches forever Would be good for making Santa something though on Xmas Eve.

Lucky - My mum bought DS the wooden one with bricks. Check out Wilkinsons sure they do one cheaper...

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 06/12/2008 21:14

Lucky what about these

AaliyahsFirstXmas · 06/12/2008 21:17

They're miles from me but thanks Lilly.
Have just looked at wilkos (one in town) and they have those trucks for £12 so I'll get her one of those. Plus i'm gonna get her a bucket of bricks to build with and a splash along winnie for the bath - Stocking fillers?

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 06/12/2008 21:19

I have a book and rag doll up to now may leave it at that but tie a helium balloon to it!

AaliyahsFirstXmas · 06/12/2008 21:21

Do you think the bricks and swimming winnie are stocking fillers or are they too big? I can see myself buying a stupid amount of toys (dead cheap at wilkos) but I spose its not THAT big a deal as we'll just seperate into xmas and birthday

AaliyahsFirstXmas · 06/12/2008 21:22

HOW COOL?

AaliyahsFirstXmas · 06/12/2008 21:23

I'm seriously thinking this could be a main present but will see if its anywhere else cheaper.

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 06/12/2008 21:24

I wrap stocking pressies so i wouldn't do bricks but if you don't they would be fine!
Was thinking of putting in a bath toy too.
Luckily ds mirror lego toys have come so he is done and i got dd1 peppa stuff from pound shop!

I remember when it was ds 1st xmas and i got him a fire engine from tesco for his stocking. He loved it and didn't bother with the huge mound of pressies he had got! Well spent £1.99 and he still has it!

simpsonsChristmasSpecial · 06/12/2008 21:28

Lucky - try the entertainer I got Ds's ride on toy (which is being passed on to DD) from there.

Also If you have an Aldi I think they sell bricks etc.

Lilyloo - I have got a plastic bath book (was Ds's), maracas (£2 - entertainer), wrist bells (was Ds's) and will put satsuma in and maybe some balloons.

Lucky - If you see toys in Wilkinsons bear in mind they don't have them in store all yr round only at Xmas but can get on line though. I got DD's rag doll from there £3!!

simpsonsChristmasSpecial · 06/12/2008 21:31

Lilyloo - Got DS Peppa pig stuff from poundland too. Also novelty cereal pack, toy car, fake lego (pound land), tube of smarties, assortment of books (from The mirror voucher thingie), couple of drawing books and will put satsuma in!!

MadLyCarrolingChristmasMouse · 06/12/2008 21:44

simpson what size stockings do you use

at times like this I can tell I am not British . Have trampoline for Nathan, a toy (Cinderella Aquadraw) for my goddaughter and her sister who are coming boxing day, and a photo mug each for their parents. period. And that is unlikely to grow much!

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 06/12/2008 21:47

LOL MM i have to say my stockings have diminshed in size with each dc , hows the cleaning coming on ?
I have also got a reindeer that poops choc drops for dd1 and ds just remembered bought them in Sept !

simpsonsChristmasSpecial · 06/12/2008 22:04

LOL at reindeer pooping choc drops!!

Madmouse - stocking far too big (got it for last Xmas) it is going to magically "get lost" for next yr and a smaller one will be bought.

Haven't spent much though as most from pound land or the Mirror Vouchers.

Although DS does have his wheelybug

Lilyloo - I got the lego too from the Mirror but think Ds too young so will keep for next yr!!

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 06/12/2008 22:09

Simpson yeah they are small pieces but really pleased got the full set for £7 and it's a bargain will fill ds stocking!

simpsonsChristmasSpecial · 06/12/2008 22:11

Most of Ds's stocking is taken up by the Mirror books...think I managed 7 of them but some he is too small for so think he has 4 this yr. 35p each

I love a bargain!!! Reminds me must get to woolies!!!

MadLyCarrolingChristmasMouse · 06/12/2008 22:48

cleaning ??

have sat on sofa with dh looking at dogstrust website for suitable large fuffy rescue dog that they will give you with a ten month old baby...

simpsonsChristmasSpecial · 06/12/2008 23:02

Madmouse - LOL LOL

We got my mums dog from a rescue home when she was 10wks old she is now nearly 3. She is a FAB asset to family and stays with us sometimes DS LOVES her.

My brother (who is 21 now) grew up with a cocker spaniel LOL who was a yr younger than him (died when he was 15) he adored the dog!!!

AaliyahsFirstXmas · 07/12/2008 15:23

MM you really must go to www.rescuehelpersunite.co.uk. Alot of them will rehome to a home with a baby but they wont do it as a xmas present (no rescue will) Thats the website I go on ALL the time. Plus alot of the time they will arrange for a transport run to deliver the dog to you

Been to woolies and mega bargains to be had. We've bought, a winnie teddy (for stocking) a toy mobile phone (for stocking) a teddy that has the alphabet on his belly and when you press it it spells the picture - IE: A is for Apple A P P L E. Also a 15 piece tupperware set & a paint your own mug all for £21

AaliyahsFirstXmas · 07/12/2008 15:24

Oh and I agree about getting a dog I'm hoping to persuade DP to get a dog after the cats have been rehomed after xmas. I really love Layla here If she's still there when we look for one I think she'll be the dog we take home.
