Lucky - We have two on prescription from doctor - one is a treatment as such and one is a moisturiser.
The treatment is hydrocortisone cream. I'ts the only thing that really works to shift it but it is a steroid cream so it has to be used very sparingly.
The othe ris called cetraben. It's basically a parafin cream I think. HOWEVER, if I were you I'd ask your doctor to give you Aveeno on prescription. It's in the beauty section at Boots and costs a fiver but it is the best thing ever for sensitive skin (I have it and eczema too). It won't shift the eczema if it's taken hold but is the best overall sensitive skin cream I've ever found. And I've tried ALL the ones I can afford!
On that note, does anyone ever read the style and beauty thread? s it only me who doesn't use (read can't afford) Clinique, Clarins, Lancome etc?
Lily- I'd love to wait a year or two, but realistically I'm an old bird andI want three so I have to get cracking. Also we are tryiong to time it to go with DHs sabbatical in case horrible illness problem last time I was pg returns.
Lucky - hope the tooth is improving.
MM - we had a good night last night, did you? Big changes afoot for you/ How are you feeling about it. Any success on the day weaning so far? p.s. yes it's the sickness problem that's driving the need to stop bf. Hmm. maybe it will slip DHs mind. (It's his work that really suffered when I got ill, I just lay on the sofa trying not to go to hospital - so I really need not to be selfish about it).
I seem to have lost all the other posts for the mo as for some reason the computer thought I wanted to preview (does anyone else get that out of the blue?).
So, from what I can remember...
