Hey everyone, just watching x factor except it's paused whilst dh puts Dylan to bed so i'm probably behind what you are watching!

Had a lovely day, Dylan seems to be better from his virus, hasn't been sick since yesterday morning and isn't constantly doing runny poo's anymore .

Dh and I took him to a christmas party this morning! It was run by the 'Sure Start' centre at the local fire station.

There were games and singing and food and then santa arrived in a fire engine! He sat on santa's knee and got a present (some bubbles and a book). His cousin came also (sil bought us a ticket as a treat) and pils came too, it was lovely, I got lots of pictures and all the little ones enjoyed themsleves

We also went to the local garden centre this aft as they sell nice books. Got lots for Dylan for xmas

I'm glad he is over his bug but he now has a cold and so does dh and myself . I have a fuzzy head and watery eyes and a very runny nose .

Ttcing still going well though. I even got in to the christmas spirit and dress up as 'miss xmas' for dh yesterday

Mine - Hi! Glad you've finally got an end date to work and you've had such a lovely day. You sound very positive today

Alice - Hi, the wine sounds good

Muppet - Mmmmmmm rice pudding, haven'y had that for ages, just about to eat a greggs mince pie yum.

Tles - Hope ds1 isn't causing you too mich trouble, enjoy xfactor

Stefka - Thats lovely that you got a surprise parcel, people can be so nice

Hi to everyone else I haven't mentioned, hope you're all having fun preparing for xmas.

Back soon

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 13/12/2008 21:49

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 13/12/2008 21:54

OMG why did that post twice!!!!!!!!!!!

LisaLessLumpy · 13/12/2008 22:16

Evening all

Watching X-Factor after being at my sil's all afternoon, loved what JLS have just done.

Anyhoo, it was my neices 3rd birthday today so have had a family get together which was really nice. Made her cake which I am chuffed with, hated cutting it up though

Ben had a little accident, he was running around after the other three and fell and hit his head on the corner of the chair leg, he has a massive lump and bruise which was so close to breaking the skin. He also threw up about half an hour afterwards so I have been watching him like a hawk all afternoon and evening, he seems ok though.

As much as I like JLS, Alex has to win, she has sent shivers up and down my arms.

LisaLessLumpy · 13/12/2008 22:17

Ooooh, Inzi, fingers crossed, that would be a nice christmas present

LisaLessLumpy · 13/12/2008 22:27

Oh, those of you with older kids, check out this link... portablenorthpole.sympatico.msn.ca/home the kids will love it if they know what santa is all about

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 13/12/2008 22:41

Inzi - Eek, fingers crossed for you, how exciting!

LLL - Glad you had a nice day, poor Ben, it's awful when they injure themselves

I'm not sure who I want to win xfactor, I think Alex but I like JLS's style.

alicet · 13/12/2008 22:48

yeh Alexandra!!!

And inzi very excited for you! Will be waiting with baited breath for the results of your test...

StefkaSnowAngel · 14/12/2008 08:37

So pleased with the result last night!!!

Good luck with your result Inzi!!!

I actually have period cramps - wonder if my period is about to return finally.

Wish me luck today ladies - off to my other brother's babies first birthday party. Really hoping SIL behaves herself. My mum text to say that brother's DS is walking - SIL will go demented that her DD was not first!!!

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 14/12/2008 10:04

Morning ladies

I'm watching xmas tunes on tv, Dylan has been swaying to them, sooooooo cute

Stefka - Good luck at the party, I would just try and ignore sil and have as nice a time as you can

Inzi - Thinking of you testing x

Might pop and do some xmas shopping this afternoon...

How is everyone today?

StefkaSnowAngel · 14/12/2008 10:12

I would bet you all a fiver we get some nonsence story about her DD having walked the other day but being to scared to do it now. There is no way she will cope with her baby not being first. Maybe I am wrong and she will surprise me.

DH is driving me nuts because he won't bloody get up and we have to get ready to go!

TLESinChristmasStockings · 14/12/2008 10:14

lol Stefka you get one of them in every family. I told a family member that Zachary was walking and she said "Oh he was late * walked at 7 months"

I was like hmmm ok

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 14/12/2008 11:27

Stefka - You're probably not wrong. I would probably have to stop myself from laughing at her comments if she were my sil.

TLES - Late?! Yeah, thats why the average age is like 13mo. Dylans not walking yet, still cruzing, Zachary was most definately early.

TLESinChristmasStockings · 14/12/2008 12:24

Dal lol I know she talk c**p most of the time lol she reckons her ds5 was sitting unaided at 4 months and feeding himself at 6m without any mess.
Needless to say I don't have a lot to do with her.

Oh can you email me please?

DECKmuppetWITHBOUGHSOFHOLLY · 14/12/2008 14:37

You can always say you know a fat lazy baby that doesn't even crawl at 13 months!!!!

HI all, dh took the boys swimming this morning whilst I had a coffee and 5 mins peace in the adult area which was lovely. We brought the xmas tree in and it is in place but dh has now gone to play tennis so we are waiting for him to come home before decorating it. Ollie is watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory whilst Henry has a nap so that's great.

Stefka -thinking of you!!!!

CrochetDivaMadeTheElvesNewHats · 14/12/2008 15:01

LLL - that link for the portable north pole was fabulous - Rhydian has just watched gob-smacked as Father Christmas talked to him in person!
