Hi all, just had a thought about the night screaming babies...

Hen has started do do this, screams, I go in but he giggles and hands me his muslin.

I think he's hungry and that's why he's waking so I've been feeding him SO MUCH food and I do find the days he's had loads are the nights he sleeps through. Today he ate

Breakfast
12oz milk
2 weetabix with milk (fed by me)
2 petit filous (fed by me)

Lunch
Tuna and mayo sandwich (2 slices of normal sized bread cut up small and he fed himself)
Banana
8oz milk

Tea
1 sausage (cut up he fed himself)
Mash (1/3 of 2 large pots I fed him)
carrots (he fed himself)
15 rasberries (fed himself)
3 large strawberries (cut up fed himself)
4 large blackberries (cut up fed himself)
1 slice of rasberry swiss roll (fed himself)
6oz milk

He has gone to bed and I hope to hear nothing from him 'till morning!

Could your lo's be hungry?

deckthehallswithINZIsholly · 10/12/2008 19:53

OMG MUPPET!!! what a lot of food, Jane doesnt take nearly that much. I have been really worried recently as she really doesnt touch lunch and today she refused to eat, but is teething with bad diarhea (spl?) On a normal day

1 weetabix
7oz milk
fruit

lunch - picks at bread/cheese/omlette/veg
petits filou

dinner - small bowl pasta with sauce
baby jar dessert

bed - 7oz milk

I do give snacks like the organix crisps or baby buiscuts. She is sooooo skinny, but she stops dead after so mucg and refuses more

Only on quickly for a me post.....really struggling as Jane is constantly moaning and crying with her teeth. I have spent 3 days cuddling her I got a good look in her mouth and she has huge white areas at her molars...isnt it to early?? she also has the top third teeth and bottom second teeth breaking through...all at once

XX

Shannon eats about the same as Jane usually, but shes not eating preoperly atm, apart from when other people have her then she'll eat she does usually love banana but wont even eat that at the moment.

Inzi-sorry Jane hasn't been well, not sure about the teeth as Shannon still only has her 2 bottom ones.

Stefka-before i clicked on the thread, it looked like you feed Dareh Boobyporridge

Heinz-i'm not suprised you're still in a bit of shock if the pg wasn't planned. how you feeling?
How many of us are pg now then? Heinz, Muppet...??

CrochetDivaMadeTheElvesNewHats · 10/12/2008 21:07

Evening all - just about to go to bed - J slept on the sofa (again) last night with M, while I had R in with me as he wasn't very well.

We're both absolutely exhausted ...

As for eating, today M has eaten:

1 teaspoon of porridge

6 cheerios

2 raisins

1 marmite breadstick

2 small chunks of cheese

1 teaspoon of yogurt

... however, she's been on the boob about every 20 minutes - it's been like having a very tiny baby again!

I've got to get out with her tomorrow, give her something to focus on rather than the boob !

Night all!

DECKmuppetWITHBOUGHSOFHOLLY · 10/12/2008 21:10

Just tought I'd mention the food as a possibility though I do know I have a dumper truck as a second son
Henry actually ate more than Oliver at tea today...

J20 -I'mm 11 weeks today and can't wait for the scan next thur (I just need to see a baby there x)

Ooh muppet very excited about your scan!!!! Will look forward to hearing from you!

Sometimes Adam eats more than Sam too. i think he hasn't learnt manipulative eating toddler behaviour yet and just eats if he is hungry! Def manages less if he is teething though... And breakthrough with Sam today (who is generally a good eater - just trying to assert his independance a bit at the mo ) who ate really well and asked for seconds at all his meals! Not sure what I did differently but long may it continue!

Thinking about you coming up to your scan muppet!

AllIWant4XmasIsAstrawberrylace · 10/12/2008 21:40

also v excited about your scan muppet!

Inzi - Olly was just the same a short while ago when he was getting four molars at once...

Muppet - hadn't thought that Olly might be hungry, i will think about that. He has had the following today, which is pretty typical:
breakfast - boob & weetabix
morning snack - couple of rice cakes, fruit stick
lunch - round of bread & philly cheese as sandwich, three cocktail sausages, cherry tomato, couple slices of pepper, some organix crisps, 5 grapes, some sultanas
afternoon snack - 5oz milk and some breadsticks & sultanas
tea - two sausages, a potato waffle, some baked beans and a yoghurt

Now I am hungry! Hope you are all ok - just off to raid the fridge - dh is down the pub, ds is in bed and i am watching the gilmore girls

J2O · 10/12/2008 21:51

i'm thrice excited about your scan Muppet Did you ever send the email to your mil?

I'm going to get an early(ish) night, love to all xx

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 10/12/2008 22:09

J20 - enjoy your early night

Muppet - I am also VERY excited about your scan. Will be thinking of you. What time will it be next thurs?

Heinz - Hi, feel free to pop in whenever you like, we're all here if you want to talk

Apricot - Hi! Hope you're doing ok. Great to hear from you!

Alicet - Hope your boys are behaving tonight whilst dh is away.

Crochet - I also feel like I have a tiny baby today. Dylan has basically eaten nothing. He usually has 4 bottles of the high cal milk a day and he's taken them, he threw 2 of them up though so had to give him them again. So really he has had 6 bottles today but 2 of them came back... He ate a tiny bit of cheese from my dinner but turned away when offered anything else. He was like this last time he was ill though so i'll just have to ride it out. Hope M feels better soon x

Inzi - Dylan sounds similar to Jane food wise for amounts and eating habbits. He has a limit and when he hits it, thats it!

Strawberry - Sounds like you're having a nice relaxing evening. Wonder what tasty treats you will find in the fridge... Dh just made me some crumpets mmmm

TLES - hope you're doing ok. Was looking at your pics, cool stuff. I'm afraid I don't need/have no money for any of it... How come you're getting rid of the bed? It's very cool.

Choc - Just wanted to say, if you're reading this, i'm thinking of you and we all miss you. I know you're busy and have been on an emotional roller coaster lately but just wanted you to know that. Hope you have a lovely christmas if you don't manage to get on here before then x x x

Well, i'm off to chill with dh for a bit, hi to everyone I haven't mentioned as usual, back soon i'm sure x

DECKmuppetWITHBOUGHSOFHOLLY · 10/12/2008 22:10

J20 - no I didn't. Agred with you ladies about not sending and dh was actually all up for it it's not going to change anything so we're going to leave it.

Btw evil sil's and fil are on facebook so I need to keep the bitchfest about them to just here xxxxx

J2O · 10/12/2008 22:11

Muppet thats why i didn't say anything on FB

right, really are off to bed now!

DECKmuppetWITHBOUGHSOFHOLLY · 10/12/2008 22:11

hi dal x posted xxxx

DECKmuppetWITHBOUGHSOFHOLLY · 10/12/2008 22:15

thanks j20 xxx

the scan is 3.30pm and we have no boys so I can be as relaxed about it is possible (I had a mmc at the 12 weeks scan between the boys. I actually had the scan at 13 + 5 so when I had the erpc I was/would have been 14 weeks.)

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 10/12/2008 22:24

Muppet - 3.30, right, i'll be thinking positive thoughts at that time

LisaLessLumpy · 10/12/2008 22:45

Hi all, hope your scan goes well muppet. My friend is pregnant too, she is 8 weeks next week so early days. She miscarried her last one so fingers crossed this time round. In fact out of four of us (friends) we all lost our second pregnancies and three of us have gone on to have other children, my mate is the last one now to be preggers again

Food wise, Ben eats more than Sam atm, Sam is being a fussy bugger

Today Ben had

8oz bottle
1 weetabix with milk

Rich tea biscuit

big bowl of chicken curry (with onion and sweet potato)and rice
pot of fromage frais

few walkers crisps
fruit smoothie (the only way I can get him to have fruit, he refuses it in any other form

1/2 a tin of (Big Soup)vegetable soup, 1/2 slice of toast. 2 cocktail sausages
1/2 a pot of fruity custard

8oz Milk

blimey

J20 - hope you are ok.
Inzi - Ben got 3 of his molars through at once before his birthday. Still waiting for 2 bottom ones and the 4th molar.

StefkaSnowAngel · 11/12/2008 07:50

Think I need to get some cocktail sausages for Dareh! I need some simple ways of giving him meat as I don't eat it myself. DH will cook up batches of it and then we freeze it but it would be good if I could do some bits myself. I don't like dealing with the stuff though.

Rough night with Dareh. He was up a lot then up early too. I think I might have to re night wean. I have been letting him feed in the night because of teeth and the mmr but I think he is back in the habit of needing boob every time he wakes up. Also I think that feeding in the night makes it harder for my period to return.

Excited to hear about the scan muppet - good luck!!

Hope you got some rest last night Crochet. Am jealous of the crumpets!!

J20 - lol @ boobyporridge. He would if he could!

TLESinChristmasStockings · 11/12/2008 09:12

Dal am getting rid of the bed as I bought this when we moved

Zachary's bed

and I don't need 2 lol

I also have pushchairs for sale or grant has threatened to lock me in the cellar with them lol

HeinzSight · 11/12/2008 09:26

How did your scan go Muppet? xx

DECKmuppetWITHBOUGHSOFHOLLY · 11/12/2008 11:19

Hi lovelie!

Scan in next Thur at 3.30! Sorry If I led you to think it was today xxx

CrochetDivaMadeTheElvesNewHats · 11/12/2008 11:49

Hi all - M a lot better so I've taken her to nursery for a couple of hours - as I now have the lergy - coughing and puking is oh, so atractive!

Good news is that J and I slept in the same bed last night for the first time since last Friday! Musical beds does not suit me!

Muppetgirl - I know where you're coming from on not being able to relax as much as you could - discovering the 2nd mc at my dating scan (also at 13+5) was horrific - I'm thinking of you today ... and all the time!

Choc - I just want to second what Dal said - we're here for you if you need us - hoping you're getting there

tLES - am loving the bed! Think it's fab ... however, don't need it ...

Can't remember what everybody else said - am disappearing to have some lunch - don't fancy much right now ...

AndADalrympsInAPearTree · 11/12/2008 12:49

TLES - It's a shame I can't afford it, Dylan loves anything to do with wheels. Does it take a special sized matress? I might as well ask, how much you were wanting for it???

Stefka - It is difficult making sure you get a variety of foods in to them isn't it? I find it hard constantly thinking of ideas to offer Dylan, the possibilities are endless I suppose but I can never tell what he will and won't like till he's actually tried it.

Well, Dylan slept ok till about 1am then he woke crying and when I checked him he had done a watery poo (like the ones he's been doing since sat evening) and it was hurting his (already sore) bum , he was really crying and I was trying to clean and cream his bum as quick as I could whilst dh tried to distract him and calm him down. He calmed down once he was clean and creamed but then I cried caus ei was upset for him .

We then went downstairs for a cup of tea and he threw up , after all that he was ok again and laughing away like his normal self. He slep through from 2am till 9.30am after that. He seems a little better this morning. Has had a drink of water, 2/3 of a fromage frais and 4oz of his 5oz bottle and managed to not be sick or poo yet.

A big improvement on yesterday and the day before, by now he'd had 4 nappy changes and been sick at least once!

Off to chill with dh, he's on his lunch break
