Hurrah for Daisy - sure the feeding will get sorted once she has had a bit of rest, she is one determined lady.

Don't have Holly's number but have an e mail for her, Bumper. You could send her a msg asking her to ring Daisy. Will send it to you now. Hope she can help.

Ohforfoxsake · 01/11/2008 10:06

Ahh, Daisy - CONGRATULATIONS

looking forward to the whole story, well done, I think you should be immensley proud of yourself

Bumper, I'll try to get her number for you

Hi ladies, I'm here! I'll text daisy now, I won't ring her in case she is sleeping. I'm so proud that she did it! It makes me feel all warm and glowy! WELL DONE DAISY!!

They were worried about William's blood sugar too, but we managed without formula. In fact no-one mentioned it to me. He did have to have heel pricks every 3 hours before a feed though. That was quite traumatic, but much preferable to formula!

I'm so excited for her, hope she's ok!

I'll let everyone know how she is xxx

FiendishFairyFay · 01/11/2008 11:00

CONGRATULATIONS to Daisy and family. Well done. That was all quite quick.

RiallyEeRiaee · 01/11/2008 11:47

Congratulations daisy and family

RiallyEeRiaee · 01/11/2008 11:49

just nicked this off the AN thread

"Finlay Lawrence was born this morning 2.14am weighing 8lb and 3.5 oz"

Gorgeous names

so, who's next...

Ohforfoxsake · 01/11/2008 13:24

not me. 3 kids with V&D in the middle of the night is quite enough.

Oh the joys!!!!

RiallyEeRiaee · 01/11/2008 14:24

foxy. are you ill too?

RiallyEeRiaee · 01/11/2008 14:28

The boys won 1st prize in the pumpkin comp and got to spend £7.50 each in the shop.
I bought another craft book from the charity shop, I have decided to make DMs xmas present too, and needed another book so I have plenty of projects to choose from

How I'm going to fit all this crafting in with my OU study and the housework I'm not sure.

Sputnik · 01/11/2008 14:46

Well done to them/you!

What course did you choose i the end Ria?

RiallyEeRiaee · 01/11/2008 14:52

Hi sputnik, I am doing Introducing Environment! I fancied a change from trying to understand children I am scared now though. Especially as the run up to xmas is hectic enough without trying to study.

Sputnik · 01/11/2008 16:09

I can understand that!

Maybe try and set aside a fixed time everyday for studying. Easier said than done though I know.

JammyOLantern · 01/11/2008 16:43

Well done Daisy!!!!!!!!

Ekka · 01/11/2008 19:52

Hi all, sorry I've not posted in a while/kept up to date with things - our ds was born on 24th October and its been pretty manic here.... Luckily he's great so far as dd has had a cold settle on her chest & is now on steroids & antibiotics & feeling really sorry for herself.

Loving having 2 dcs, though as my parents are staying this week and next I think I'm being spoilt a bit and its going to be a real shock to the system when they leave next weekend . I'll try and drop in more often and hopefully we'll get some kind of routine sorted which means I've got more time to mn do housework

Ekka · 01/11/2008 19:53

Oh, just looked at the messages above - congrats Daisy!

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/11/2008 20:01

Congrats to Ekka as well

RiallyEeRiaee · 01/11/2008 20:06

Congratulatiosn Ekka, was wondering where you'd got to. Fancy going off to have a baby. Will you tell us his name?

DS1 has gone to the bonfire with his friend. No doubt he'll be back soon. DS2 watching Charlie & Lola and I'm just having a rest cos bagginsis asleep. I've finally caught up with the laundry/ironing I didn't do cos of my man flu, and now I feel like having a relapse.

RiallyEeRiaee · 01/11/2008 20:11

Jammy, I am facebook stalking. Are you, by any chance, watching Shaun of the Dead?

Ohforfoxsake · 01/11/2008 20:19

That's exciting Ria! Something other than children am seriously impressed. Hope one day to follow in your footsteps!

No, I'm not ill too. Well, had it for one day - but it barely registered as spent the day in A&E, then childrens ward in the local hospital with LO. She had a temp and I was worried about the whole UTI thing. Turned out she had something non-specific, got ABs, and is on the mend. The 3 older ones all have D&V, one in bed last night, one on my bedroom carpet and one just as we got out of the car when we got back. Trouble is, they had it on holiday, and we thought we were over it, but it seems to hit twice. DS2 is all skin and bones now. As soon as he's up to food again he'll be on a diet of cake and steak to build him up!

Daisy hopes to be home tomorrow.

Took me all bloody day to sort my phone out.

Ohforfoxsake · 01/11/2008 20:22

X-post Ekka (took me that long to hit post)

Congratulations to you too! Have you a birth-thread? We do love a birth story you know how did it all go? How has DD taken to her new little brother?

So many questions, sorry! I just love a birth

JammyOLantern · 01/11/2008 20:23

Congrats too Ekka.
Foxy, poor LO and poor DCs and poor you.
Ria, no we are watching Dead Set.

RiallyEeRiaee · 01/11/2008 20:26

foxy. Hope DD2 is on the mend, and the others too. Hard to tell which is worse, all DCs ill at the same time, or one after the other. Shame they were ill on holiday too.

DS1 back, he had a great time, there was a whole shed on the bonfire apparently. His friends Dad bought him a glow stick, chips and hot chocolate. And he only lost one glove. Oh well he usually gets some in his stocking.

Bollocks, baggins woke up.

and bloody DS1 trampled bonfire car park mud all over the rug.

I am looking forward to something that has sod all to do with children. It's not a feeling I usually have so I feel a bit guilty. But it has been a long year with no routine.

Glad daisy and DS2 (tee hee, how exciting) re feeling up to thinking about coming home. The part of me that isn't jaded is very .
