Thought as the messages were coming in thick & fast I´d start new thread. Don´t know if it´ll work though. Fingers crossed.

oh god my heart would have come out my mouth

Glad he is ok though. Mimi keeps rocking her highchair, by pushing back on the little bar under the table

Soph73 · 12/11/2008 13:30

Afternoon all. Sorry you're feeling down Peachy, good that you'll be doing something different & getting out. You are an inspiration to us all so hope you're feeling cheerier soon
Scorpio - sorry to hear about the footmuff thingy. Got no idea what to get Sam for Christmas will have to try and look round the shops soon. DS1 already has a list figured out in his head - bless

Soph73 · 12/11/2008 13:34

Second that Scorpio! Pleased he's OK Peachy.
Had a lovely morning with Sam - doesn´t have to go to hospital again until 24th - and I now have a tidy living room I don't think I can remember when it was last this tidy! It felt a bit like being back on maternity leave, just me & Sam and a nice quiet house - bliss

Soph73 · 12/11/2008 14:53

Is it just me or is it that every time I post on here everyone buggers orrff - I´m beginning to think you lot are trying to tell me something

scorpio1 · 12/11/2008 15:18

PeachyAndTheSucklingBas · 12/11/2008 15:44

Fab Scorpio

Ned to get something like that for Bas, but will get dh to pay as he's soppy over the baby LOL

scorpio1 · 12/11/2008 15:46

So is dh....poor boo is ill and he is fussing over mimi's feet sticking out of the blanket

it's really good, covers the whole of the back seat in fleece (hot pink LOL) then over the feet in fleece too...is fab and goes nice with the denim. yay! Mothercare have good versions, dont know which buggy you use?

scorpio1 · 12/11/2008 15:48

this looks funky!!

PeachyAndTheSucklingBas · 12/11/2008 16:02

We have 2 buggies, a chico that has its own padded cosy toes for home use and a Graco Mojo becuase its the only one that'll fit in the car- a fleece one will do it a treat I think

Soph73 · 12/11/2008 16:28

Well, that's nice

scorpio1 · 12/11/2008 16:29

Soph73 · 13/11/2008 09:38

Morning!
Shocking behaviour scorpio
Am not feeling fragile this morning, just dog tired as me & friend didn't go to bed until 12.40am ... not a good move when you get up at 5.45am!!!!!

PeachyAndTheSucklingBas · 13/11/2008 09:54

Morning soph

feeling much better today, had a long talk with dhand he now understands- basically what happened as that ds1 tried to push ds2 under a car friday; had it not been for abs I'd be a son down by now. DH and I have talked and we are thinking that ds1 may need to board if this doesnt change by 13 (big difference restraining him when he was 5 to when he's a teen). Dont want that but good to have a plan iykwim.

Bas is fine, scared the bloody life out of me but- watch the harnesses on those ikea chairs!

speak later.

scorpio1 · 13/11/2008 09:55

glad you had a good chat with dh

TheShipsCat · 13/11/2008 09:58

Soph - hope you are starting to feel a bit better!

Peachy, so sorry that you are having a tough time, I really admire you...good news about working in the school once a week. I am sure getting out and about on your own would be nice for you.

Good news about DH, and the footmuff, Scorpio!

I am thinking of giving up BFing entirely. I expressed while I was away, and its been a bit of a struggle getting my milk back up, but A has 2 teeth and bites, plus looks around while drinking. I am going to end up with nipples as long as my arms ...

I'm also in a muddle about her solids. Peachy - if you have the energy can you advise? 'Cos dd1 has allergies, I've been treading warily with A - she seems to be OK on dairy, (formula is fine) but she threw up a lot after cheese the other day, and I'm scared of yoghurt. Is that silly? Should I just give it to her? And I haven't given her gluten yet either. DD1 was OK with it by about 9 months - should I try, or leave it for a bit?

Lost the cat yesterday. My neighbour found him this morning stuck between the wooden slats of a floating pontoon on the river. He needs a bath...

Soph73 · 13/11/2008 10:12

Hi Peachy & TSC.
TSC - poor cat ... good luck with the bath
Peachy - it must be difficult, but like you said, it's good to have a plan in your head if he does need supervision 24/7.

Soph73 · 13/11/2008 10:12

Forgot to say .... iiiiittttt'ssss CHIP DAY - hoorah!

scorpio1 · 13/11/2008 10:15

chip day lol it came around uick htis week!

TSC - you have bf for a long time now you have to do whatever fits you now i think feel proud of what you have done!

Soph73 · 13/11/2008 10:50

It did didn't it That also means I'm closer to Friday so all's right with the world

Denny185 · 13/11/2008 10:53

chips, Im trying to be good. Lost 6lb since stopping BF and appetite def getting less.

TheShipsCat · 13/11/2008 10:57

Well done denny! I lost loads last week, which is great. Don't know how much, just that I look and feel better. And the less i bf, the less hungry I am...

Denny185 · 13/11/2008 11:01

Strange isnt it, same thing happened after DS, min weight loss whilst feeding as so hungry all the time. I have just over 2 1/2 stone to shift this time so its going to be a long road
