Thought as the messages were coming in thick & fast I´d start new thread. Don´t know if it´ll work though. Fingers crossed.

FFS.
I put A up in his cot thinking 'he won't go to sleep'.
This was at 10:20, come 10:40 he was fast asleep.
Now I have to go and get DS1 from nursery and will have to wake DS2 up. Grrrrrr.

Soph73 · 06/11/2008 11:25
  • Scorpio - she's lovely really.
BSqualor - typical! Will he not just fall asleep again once you get him in pushchair/car?
BaracktorianSqualor · 06/11/2008 12:17

hahahahahahahahahaha.
NO.
That's the first time he has gone to sleep unaided in AGES.
Maybe I'm letting him get overtired.

Soph73 · 06/11/2008 12:28

BSqualor - was that manic laughter I heard
Am off for chips now - yum, see you soon

Soph73 · 06/11/2008 13:10

ThePFJ · 06/11/2008 14:31

Me and jack just watched Lilo and Stitch again. He really likes it. Its not me. Honest....

Soph73 · 06/11/2008 14:55

PFJ - of course he does When DS1 was little we always ended up watching the cartoons I wanted too and I still buy him the DVD's I want to see!

ThePFJ · 06/11/2008 15:18

LOL Facebook just revealed I know my best friend's hubbies boss. We used to live together in a student house. he's terrified now. How funny is that. Such a small world....

Soph73 · 06/11/2008 15:43

It certainly is PFJ.
It's bloody raining again (however, it is still about 15 degrees)!!
I've just realised that DH & I have been together 11 yrs next week. Blimey, doesn't time fly when you're having fun

ThePFJ · 06/11/2008 15:48

Congrats Soph!

Soph73 · 06/11/2008 16:07

Soph73 · 06/11/2008 16:39

DonDons · 06/11/2008 17:49

Soph - are you me? It's our 11 year anniversary next week too....

BaracktorianSqualor · 06/11/2008 18:03

I'm adding all the videos off my phone onto facebook. Well, most, some are of me very f*ing drunk. Not a good idea
Alex went down by himself again earlier! I put him to bed at about 2pm, and he went straight to sleep!
No such luck this time though

EllieG · 06/11/2008 19:57

BVS - are your intials LB in RL? And is your email fecking something or other? That photo of you and A is gorgeous, btw (am assuming is your breast and A not attached to a random one)

'Lo all - too busy to post yesterday, which was terrible shame.

She slept through again last night, but woke at 5.30. Could be worse though, I let her noodle around for a bit and got her up at 6. Won't give brekkie til 7 and she doesn't seem to expect before then, so all good.

She ate some smoked mackerel and spinach/potato for tea. I know you have to be careful with smoked foods and salt, but a little goes a long way with so much flavour. She's been really funny recently, and I thought would give her some as we were having, and she loved it. Weird child. Otherwise, all she will eat is yogurt or fruit. Hum. I think she is getting bored of bland veg flavours maybe?

Glad you feeling bit better scorpio x

BaracktorianSqualor · 06/11/2008 20:17

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaa, why?

BaracktorianSqualor · 06/11/2008 20:18

Oh tis it bout the email you sent me? your new email? Got it.

EllieG · 06/11/2008 20:24

Yep - get confused with people's RL names and was going to email you something the other day but then couldn't remember if you were you, IYSWIM. But you are, so that's OK.

Right, am off to spend quality time with DH watchtv

LadyBee · 06/11/2008 20:41

mmmm...smoked fish..yum, haven't had that in ages. ooohhh, I love it, now I want a smoked fish pie. Too bad, DP is on tea and I'll take whatever he wants to make just so long as I don't have to shift off this couch.

DS doesn't appear to have an off switch for his tum. Today I made an enormous dinner for him, cauliflower, carrot and broccoli mush with creamcheese added in, plus a rusk buttered and with a tiny bit of marmite, plus some apricot halves, plus some mashed apricot and rice for dessert. He ate practically the entire amount. We went really slow and I gave him plenty of opportunity to say no, but he just didn't. Have now spent 45 minutes clearing up sick, giving him lots of burps, and cycling legs as he complained of a sore tummy.

I've read him the Very Hungry Caterpillar, but he seems to have missed the point

Got lots of last minute things today so feel a bit more organised. Am not in actuality any more organised but buying the things made me feel better.

oooh DP home, yippeee! He's making chicken fillet burgers and ....chips!!! woohoo

EllieG · 06/11/2008 20:59

LOL LOL at babybee not seeing message of Very Hungry Caterpillar - I think you will have to be less enigmatic ladybee

ThePFJ · 07/11/2008 09:12

Morning all...

Have Jack on the floor again today trying to get him to crawl towards toys.

Last night we went to ASDA with Jack for the first time and sat him on the child seat in the trolley. He LOVED it. So much to see for him, he was mesmorised.

I was so tired I didnt try the GW or PUPD last night. Will try tonight though.

BaracktorianSqualor · 07/11/2008 09:22

I have two poorly ickle boys. I'm hoping that is not why Alex decided to start going to sleep by himself yesterday!
