so sorry to hear about Harry sponge hope he's on the mend soon - looks like he is.

littlerach · 05/07/2005 19:22

Love to you all, let us know how he gets on.

Thanks for all your support girls.
He is much much better now. He was allowed home on Monday night although he still has an IV in his hand and has to go back every day to have more antibiotics. Yesterday he ate and drank properly for the first time and this morning he was smiling and laughing so it seems we're out of the woods.
It's so lovely to have my little smiley, lively man back.
The final good news is that he's well enough for us still to go on holiday so we're off to Mauritius on Friday .

littlerach · 07/07/2005 16:50

Have a lovely time, you deserve it.xx

glad things look better.

things are bad here - must be a turning one thing - oh well, tomorrow is another day!

Eshay · 07/07/2005 21:04

I'm so relieved to read that, Sponge. And what great timing to go on holiday tomorrow - you'll need a rest. Let's just hope there are no delays or other problems for your journney tomorrow due to today's attacks.

Tomorrow is Thomas' birthday! I can't believe I was in hospital a year ago enjoying my epidural. My parents are here for the big party and we bought T some gifts today. A lovely walker/ride-on thing and a Thomas the Tank Engine train that you drop in a hole and then it races round and round on its way down. (does that make sense at all?) He'll probably just want to eat the train rather than run it down the track but i'll have fun with it for sure

Hope all of us living/working in London are okay.

Jessicaandbumpsmummy... Did I miss something? I see you've changed your name but I don't remember an announcement... This name change sure looks like some congratulations are in order. yeah! More of our group to take the plunge and do it all over again! How far along are you?

Also, I had Thomas' feet measured last week and he is a 5 according to the lady at John Lewis. I still manage to put on his size 3 Mothercare sandals though but I suppose I shouldn't do that for much longer. He defintely takes after his dad there and notme. My feet are quite normal

Eshay · 07/07/2005 21:17

Oh, I see you're on the OCt 2005 thread so I must have missed something. Or just have forgotten it - let's blame my pregnancy hormones for that. Still, Happy Bump!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 07/07/2005 21:24

Eshay.... yep..... 25 weeks tomorrow!!! Cant believe im gonna have another one!!! im sure i told you girls, but maybe i forgot?! PG brain gone dead!!!

Had a real emotional rollercoaster today, so off for an early night. Take care all xxx

Eshay · 07/07/2005 21:39

I'm sure you did and it was just me forgetting. My brain never returned to normal after DS and now with new pg hormones it's even worse! I'm only 12 weeks so still have ages to go. Sleep tight.

Sponge · 07/07/2005 23:32

Oh wow Eshay, I certainly missed your announcement. Huge congratulations . Everyone's rushing straight on to the next one it seems.
Occasionally I still feel broody and fancy another, but I'm not doing it all again. Two's enough for me. Still love a little baby though so it's great that lots of you are having more, as long as I'm allowed at least virtual cuddles .

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 08/07/2005 08:07

sponge - you can have as many virtual cuddles as you like!!!

after some days i go through with jess, i wonder why im doing all this again, but i know it will be worth it in the end!

Will probably stop at 2 for a little while!!!

Eshay · 08/07/2005 09:21

This will be number two for us and we're planning on leaving it at that. Of course I'm quite worried that my scan next week will reveal twins as they do run in the family. Of course you can cuddle mine too, Sponge!

sweetkitty · 08/07/2005 09:33

25 weeks already mum JABM thats great - do you know what you are having? I'm desperate to find out not because I'm bothered one way or another but because I'm a very impatient person (was like it last time too). We have always said we would like 3 we'll see what this one is like though but I think if we do have another we will wiat a bit longer then 9 months next time!

I'm 13+1 today hopefully will start feeling better now.

Happy Birthday Thomas - hope you have a lovely day.

Enjoy your hol sponge!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 08/07/2005 09:36

nope - no idea what im having - other than a baby! Didnt find out with Jess and didnt want to with this one!

If this one is a boy and we go one for number 3 we probably would because i would have one of each!

Toothache · 08/07/2005 09:39

I am still in that some of you are pregnant again! ....and a little bit . I am getting veerrrrrrry broody at the moment, but know that it isn't an option. We live in a small 2 bedroomed house and already have a boy and a girl! I'm hoping to get a new job with much more money within the next month, so hopefully we'll have a bigger house soon and I'll be joining you all! (much to DH's horror )

tew · 12/07/2005 10:09

My 10 1/2 month dd has started to wake up at night, absolutely screaming - rigid back, clearly in quite a lot of pain. Seems like colic, which she's never had before. She's now done this twice - terrifying the first time, had a high temperature. Could this tummy pain be caused by teething? or possible dehydration? Has anyone else experience this?

She's normally a very good, placid baby and a great sleeper, so very unusual.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 12/07/2005 10:10

only 12 days til jess turns 1..... my baby!!! roll on october when i can pop this one out, the heat is driving me insane!

spacecadet · 12/07/2005 19:42

only 8 days till ems first birthday, doesnt seem possible, this time last year, i had my induction date and was sat around waiting to go in to hospital, moaning cos i couldnt get comfy!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 12/07/2005 19:47

ditto SC...... weird to think its gone so quick!

spacecadet · 12/07/2005 21:04

ive just had a proud mummy moment!!! emily just took two wobbly, unaided, steps..so proud!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 12/07/2005 23:26

aww bless! Jess did it a few weeks ago and nothing since! Learning to stand by herself for longer now tho!

spacecadet · 13/07/2005 13:20

she wont do it again now!

Eshay · 13/07/2005 14:03

Thomas has been wobbling for a while but I had a proud mummy mment yesterday too when I put him by the table and he followed me to the kitchen. As soon as I shouted out 'look at him, he's walking' he just sat himself down. Still, quite an achievement.

It was his birthday last week and we had a great time. We bought him a baby walker and he raced all over the lawn with it.

Tew, I am afraid I have no experience with that behaviour. I hope it hasn't happened since.
