bumper. I hope something turns up soon. Can only imagine how stressful things are at the minute. Can your families help out financially?

holly, that's a bit shocking of Hipp, but I suppose......we just have cow's milk now; not sure anyone is using follow on milk?

bumper, are you still BFing DD?

Ohforfoxsake · 18/10/2008 19:42

You can always use it for a taste test, or explore the ingredients list. And some people will want to give it a go, perhaps if they are desperate and seriously considering formula you could let them have a sachet to try, so they don't buy a box? Less likely to use it if they don't have a whole box to use up is my thinking.

HollyWeen · 18/10/2008 19:46

I do know a ffing mum at the group. Maybe I'll just give it to her on the sly! I just hate to waste something that someone will use.

I quite fancy Matthew Cutler! He is so nice, Ilove him!

Ohforfoxsake · 18/10/2008 19:49

Who's he?

HollyWeen · 18/10/2008 19:50

We are not allowed to promote formula in any way foxy. I have to say though, if I were to buy formula it would be the one I would choose!

HollyWeen · 18/10/2008 19:55

He is a pro dancer on strictly. Bit camp, very sexy!

LackaDAISYcal · 18/10/2008 20:03

which one is he holly? who he dancing with?

John Sergeant is hilarious. Tallulah is on the strictly thread.....lusting after Brendan Cole

JammyOLantern · 18/10/2008 20:09

Evening all
We've been to the belated wedding reception (she got married on Sept 20th) of one of my work friends. It started at 4.30 so those with young families could come early, so that's what we did, went from 4.30 - 6.45. Jamlet was very good and everyone thought she was fabulous! My throat is red sore though after chatting for a couple of hours (and reading books to jamlet all afternoon before going out!)
Regarding LOs not believing in Father Christmas, when my nephew said he didn't believe anymore we told him that yes, it was the grown ups buying the presents but that FC was a nice way to get little children to understand the spirit of Christmas and he was very happy with that. We also told him that on Christmas Eve everyone believes in FC and he thought that was great.

HollyWeen · 18/10/2008 20:10

He is dancing with Christine. I want to pinch his bum!

I quite fancy Tom too. He was very good tonight!

Brendan? No, doesn't do it for me. I like some arrogance in a man, but not that much!

LackaDAISYcal · 18/10/2008 20:11

oh, lol, meant to tell you all about DD at teatime. she was sitting there looking mizzy and not eating, and DH was looking at her with parental concern....she looked back at him and said.....

...."What?" just like a teenager . We all nearly fell off our chairs laughing.

HollyWeen · 18/10/2008 20:12

Glad you had a good time jammy, sounds like fun! I hate receptions with no children, it takes the fun out of it.

TALLULAHBELLE · 18/10/2008 20:13

Yep was lusting Daisy Matthew Cutler dances with Christine, the presenter from The One Show.

LackaDAISYcal · 18/10/2008 20:18

I quite like Brendan. Glad Antoine has gone though as he is an irritating little fart. None of them really "do" it for me though.

Poor Jammy

DH thinks he is coming down with the lurgy as well now; he doesn't look well bless him.

We have told DS that his friend's older brothers are just winding him up and that if you say you don't believe in Father Christmas, then you don't get any presents. He seemed suitably shocked by that thought! The little lad who told him has two older brothers and his mum said to me last year that she was having a hard job convincing him that he did exist thanks to his brothers.

HollyWeen · 18/10/2008 20:26

Wow! Austin on x-factor v good! I love shit TV!

LackaDAISYcal · 18/10/2008 20:27

matthew is a bit too pretty boy imo.

Ohforfoxsake · 18/10/2008 20:28

You'd better go all out this Christmas Eve then Daisy, foot prints, carroty bits on the front path, snowy stuff I reckon you'll get him convinced for a couple more years.

Ohforfoxsake · 18/10/2008 20:29

The lead in Brideshead Revisited is the most gorgeous man I have seen in a looooong time. Matthew Goode I think he was. Just lovely.

LackaDAISYcal · 18/10/2008 20:40

is that what you saw at the cinema foxy?

Can't remember the last time I saw a grown up film......it's all fecking Cars and Wall-E for me these days

and....I find it all a little bit too loud

oh dear my RL friend has started an AIBU and is getting a baptism of fire. Should I leap in to her defence?

Bloodystumperlicious · 18/10/2008 20:43

LOL at mini Daisy! They are just brill at the moment aren't they?

I think we have just about stopped bfing here. Since I have been at work FT I haven't really had time to feed her in the morning, so my supply has gone down, meaning that on the rare days that I do offer it she can't get much out, but she doesn't seem that bothered and takes cow's milk fine. Bit sad really, but it's about time. I sooo wanted be a natural term weaner but just didn't have the stamina, or the time . That's another effect of fucking Twunty Twunts Ltd screwing DH over. It wasn't a problem when I worked PT.

TALLULAHBELLE · 18/10/2008 20:43

Is she BU?

Ohforfoxsake · 18/10/2008 20:45

I stopped completely a week ago.

Daisy, the kids films are a lot louder than the adult ones, don't worry. Could you get yourself to the cinema one afternoon before Virgil comes? Its such a treat to go on your own.

Bumper, that is a shame about the BF. I know you had hoped to keep going until you reached a natural end.

Bloodystumperlicious · 18/10/2008 21:10

I was ready to stop elvira, but not ready IYSWIM. I wish had enjoyed it more enough to carry it on.

Bloodystumperlicious · 18/10/2008 21:13

Oh dear daisy, i think i may have been on that thread
