Jammy - Oh dear, oh dear James May?!

HollyWeen · 16/10/2008 22:51

My poor bro . Another one of his friends was killed in a hit and run outside a pub down the road. When he went to a festival in Croatia in the summer he was asleep in a tent under a tree when one of the branches fell off and killed a girl in the tent next to him. He is a lovely boy and sometimes he just looks a little in his eyes.

James May?! He is odd! I do love Noel Fielding, I like the geeky thing with a bit of goth!

Izzybel · 16/10/2008 22:54

Bless him! He must feel cursed

Nope, Noel Fielding does absolutely nothing for me!

HollyWeen · 16/10/2008 22:57

Oh fucking hell! The last in the series of Ugly Betty they've left it on a cliffhanger Grrrrr.....I'm going to bed now in protest!

'Night lovelies xxx

Izzymonster · 16/10/2008 23:03

Here we go... I've changed my name in the spirit of Hallowe'en! It's a bit lame but I was feeling left out

Ooh I hate it when they finish a series on a cliffhanger.
Has anyone been watching Hollyoaks?...No? Just me? My nails have been bitten down to the knuckle!

DP is always going on at me for watching it, but if he's home I'll watch it in another room. It's one of my favourite programmes although I think that he content is sometimes a bit strong for the time that it's on.

Yes, I think the other soaps go a bit flat at times... I really need to get out more don't I? lol.

HollyWeen · 17/10/2008 08:25

Izzy, we are huge Hollyoaks fans in this house! I have watched it from the very beginning (Kurt and Natasha days) and when I moved in with dp he ended up watching it too. Now we are both hooked!

I did guess that Tina would be the one who died! She is fucking annoying and I'm glad she is dead! They could have killed off Carmel too, she is almost as annoying!

Hollyoaks and Neighbours are the only soaps I watch. The two cheesiest soaps on tv! I love them!

LackaDAISYcal · 17/10/2008 09:22

i used to like watching hollyoaks for the locations as i used to have a boyfriend from chester and have visited loads.

now i feel it's a bit of a young person's soap though

well we had one vomiting incident in the night, but DS seems pretty well this morning; he is back to being bolshy, answering back and being generally exceptionable. He has been told that if he doesn't behave he is going back to school, lol! He is also starving and getting grumpy because we won't let him eat too much!

Ohforfoxsake · 17/10/2008 09:55

too old for Hollyoaks, more Corrie myself. We're a bit like Jack & Vera here. DP checking the form of the horses, me, well, nagging

I hope DD1 forgets the song she made up. It went:

Penis! Penis! I'm wearing a Penis!

Please don't sing it at nursery later

LackaDAISYcal · 17/10/2008 10:01

oh, foxy the mind boggles

DH has cancelled his meeting due to DS being sick again, although we are now wondering why as he is full of beans and buggery this morning.

So far no-one else is ill

DD was up in the night with teething again.....but we have another top tooth yay. We just need some bottom ones now as the two middle ones are looking decidedly lonely!

I'm off back to bed

JammyOLantern · 17/10/2008 11:31

and Foxy!

Have been to Rhyme Time (but I couldn't sing today) and to swap jamlet's new coat I bought her yesterday for the bigger size. I am now absolutely worn out Just as well she is too as it means she's in her cot and I can rest. Off to this parents' forum this afternoon. Not sure what that'll be like.

HollyWeen · 17/10/2008 12:20

Penis, penis, I'm wearing a penis

I love it foxy! Brilliant! Your daughter is a genius!

Glad mrr is a bit better daisy, have a nice sleep!

Have fun this afternoon jammy.

I've just had one of these turn up at my door! It is really nice! Another addition to my expanding sling library!

Ohforfoxsake · 17/10/2008 14:08

She cracks me up, I love her company, she's such good fun

That's an odd looking sling Holly. Never seen one like that before. So, what have you got from the kindness of strangers for your group?

Hope you are on the mend Jammy. sounds like you are getting better slowly. How's DH?

interesting looking sling holly!

Might be a good position for the baby, but what will that be doing for the parent's back and neck? I much prefer the ones that hold the baby in tight against you.....all those hundreds of thousands of years of women carrying babies close can't be wrong!

I think DD is coming down with what DS has got . Her temp has been really spiky this afternoon and she is either sitting on my lap cuddling in or wobbling around the room crying and mizzy. It could be teeth, but she is never normally bothered by her teeth overly much. We have a temproary rallying courtesy of calpol at the minute though. I'm sick fed up of poorly whingy children.

And my mother's help (ie DH) has been asleep for nearly three hours!

JammyOLantern · 17/10/2008 15:50

I am now a volunteer on the community forum at our children's centre

RiallyEeRiaee · 17/10/2008 16:07

Hi, I typed a long post this morning and baggins turned the PC off.

Have just spent the afternoon at church for Harvest festival and DS2s class didn't go, oh well at least got to chat to my friends (who are talking to me again)

I had a dream last night about our GP (who looks a bit like Richard Hammond!) Who to choose from Top Gear??? Alan Rickman in Sense & Sensibility, but went off him after Love Actually.

I used to love the original Hollyoaks (I watch "2 Pints" nowadays!)

That is one weird sling, looks like DHs sling...

we're having a pj party, watching a movie. I have eaten too many marshmallows and twigletts. DS2 has introduced DD2 to marshmallows. Should be fun getting her to sleep tonight then

HollyWeen · 17/10/2008 19:17

I feel sick, I ate too much icing! Dd and I made cupcakes.

Ds is lying on the floor and dd is stamping on him . They are both PTSL! I forsee this ending in tears!

The sling is actually better than it looks in the pic. It has a big wide cushiony bit at the back, so is really supportive. It can go upright too, not just sideways. I wouldn't use it, I prefer a wrap sling, but some people like the structured carriers and it is nice that it lies sideways so you can bf in it.

I have another pressie waiting for me at the sorting office. Can't wait to go and get it tomorrow!

HollyWeen · 17/10/2008 19:27

Oooo, look at this one!!
