bumper, I think I've missed you, but......can't believe your SIL actually said that, or that she seemed sad about it! Virgil will be getting all second hand toys for Christmas. I am not buying any more baby toys when we have a bin bag full of them in the attic.

All our Xmas pressies come from the local boot fair as well.

Work was fine Daisy....loads to do though and only 10 weeks to do it in . DD seemed to be fine at nursery despite smacking her head this morning (2 mins before I left ) on the bookcase.....nice bruise to add to the collection!

Daisy, I remember that thread the first time round, and it is just as funny the 2nd time!

Was fraser the Scottish name beginning with F? Dp and I were seriously considering it for ds because he was conceived in Oz near Fraser Island! Then we decided that actually that is the sort of thing that the Beckhams and other such chavs would do, so we decided against it! Still a lovely name though!

Dd is at pre-school, so I really must try and on with some housework

P.S. Did anyone see that thread just now about a july 08 thread on Baby Centre where people were weaning their babies at 9-10 weeks ! I was just reading the BC thread and I am truly horrified! Do these people not have brains? They were actually laughing about giving their babies rusks, custard and chocolate buttons! No wonder this country is full of fat morons!

Thing is I can't really concentrate on work stuff with DCs around. I need Baby Sputnik to go to nursery, but he cried hysterically again for the 30 minutes I left him yesterday. Now he is sick (with something he picked up there, natch) anyway.

Oh dear sputnik. Glad it's sorted. IKWYM about not being able to do anything with the dcs around. It's all well and good dd being at preschool, but I can't actually do anything because ds keeps climbing on me!

Ds has just handed me a chopstick ! Fuck knows where he got that!

Very snotty dcs here too. Dd has got a bit of a cough, but I sent her to school anyway [bad mother emoticon]. I had to buy her some buttercup syrup yesterday, obviously for her, definitely not so I could drink it from the bottle!

That, Sputnik, sounds shite about work. What a PITA. It is impossible to get anything done with DCs around. Except MNing, strangely.

Had to go and put This Morning on to see Kerry Katona after seeing a thread on her. Was quite uncomfortable viewing, with Fern and Phil putting her on the spot about her slurring during the interview.

I did that too foxy! I know she brings a lot of things on herself, but I really do feel a bit sorry for her. She obviously has a lot of problems.
