They take 30% here. It is a lot, but you can actually get more for your items than on ebay, so it all sort of works out. I would love my NCT to do tabletop sales. There is a town nearby that does it, but only in the spring. It would be much better, then you can do deals with people and be a bit more flexible with the prices.

RiallyEeRiaee · 06/10/2008 22:31

I am comfused. It is an ebay payment, it asked me to claim it so I think I did and now there's an egg timer. it sayd the payment is being processed by paypal, so presumably I wait and it will clear and I will be ? Don't want to fuck it up, can't cope with hassle.

RiallyEeRiaee · 06/10/2008 22:34

I can't bloody type either

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 06/10/2008 22:34

It may be processing then. Sometimes you have to claim payments, but sometimes it can take 10 working days to clear. DO NOT send your item until it has cleared! You won't fuck it up, don't worry! I think Paypal send you an email when it has cleared.

RiallyEeRiaee · 06/10/2008 22:38

Thanks holly. I will wait then (wasn't sending it til I get the money, no way!)m I was a bit baffled cos I didn't get an email to say it was pending, the masseage was in my ebay in-box. I like things to be easier than this. Might have a few days off selling.

DH has just come in (moaning I might add) and he hasn't noticed my lovely shiny kitchen (ok so the table is still full of crap and I forgot to wipe it but the floor and surfaces are immaculate) I suppose he'll want feeding too.

for redundancies.

NattyTombstoneAndEyeballs · 06/10/2008 22:45

gosh thats scary about redundacies.
DH work are closing one of the sites in the square, and they have said they will be relocating staff not making redundacies, but given the current financial climate do u think redundancy could be on the cards??

RiallyEeRiaee · 06/10/2008 22:47

I think I have just found an Mnetter who lives just round the corner, now, how to find out?

NattyTombstoneAndEyeballs · 06/10/2008 22:52

gosh, i dont know.. daisy?? u about??

LackaDAISYcal · 07/10/2008 09:03

oooh, who is it Ria? I know there are one or two in your neck of the woods!

Squonk lives out near you somewhere I'm sure.

It's Pipsical (she advertising as a CM on Mnet local), but having read a couple of threads I think Zoejeanne might be nearby too. I shall keep myself a secret I think, I need to be able tobe rude about RL people

LackaDAISYcal · 07/10/2008 09:24

lol ria; it is a strange feeling when our anonymity is compromised

My RL friend posts on here, but she tends to stick to her PN thread and isn't a very regular poster, so we don't cross on the boards very often. Means I have to be totally honest about my life goings on though and not diss my DH too much...or she'll tell him (they go back wayyyyy further than she and I do!)

Can you not organise a local meet up; I've met a few of the Leeds ladies and they are all lovely

Just thought I'd come and show off my new Halloween name !

LackaDAISYcal · 07/10/2008 09:36

Lovely Holly, lol

DH has gone off to work, but thankfully he's back tomorrow evening and is only away for the day on Thursday and then here all day Friday.

Ooops need to go investigate DD; she is having a doodlebug moment!

OP posts:
HollyWeen · 07/10/2008 09:41

My ds too, he has just stolen dd's pen. Luckily he is sat by my feet drawing on a piece of paper. If I take my eyes off him for a second he will be in the living room drawing on the sofa!

I so wish I could drive! It is pissing it down and I'm bored. It sounds odd, but I would love to just pop out to the supermarket. I feel trapped when it is raining.

LackaDAISYcal · 07/10/2008 09:44

she had gotten into the porch and was trying to get into the buggy....no damage done!

She is full of bloody beans this morning, and I'm way too knackered to get out to any groups today.

She is just pulling stuff out of the toy box and throwing it around the room

OP posts:
LackaDAISYcal · 07/10/2008 09:46

and if I tell her off, she just scowls at me and then throws herself on the floor.

We might do some shopping just to get out.....I'm fast running out of tea bags!

I need to get some new bras but it's such a horrible experience when pregnant and the only places that do decent ones are in town......and that I certainly don't have the energy for.

OP posts:
HollyWeen · 07/10/2008 09:47

I have greasy hair because my ds keeps yelling at me every time I leave the room and I can't have a bath.

AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!! They are both screaming at me. AIBU to go and stand outside in the rain on my own?!

HollyWeen · 07/10/2008 09:48

PMSL daisy! My ds does that. If I tell him off nicely he laughs at me, but if I yell at him the lip goes out, he lets out an almightly scream and throws himself on the floor!

LackaDAISYcal · 07/10/2008 09:48

Can you take him in the bathroom (or even the bath) with you holly? then you can keep an eye on him.....or is that just a recipe for disaster?

OP posts:
LackaDAISYcal · 07/10/2008 09:49

and if you're going out in the rain; take the shampoo with you

OP posts:
HollyWeen · 07/10/2008 09:50

Recipe for disaster I'm afraid! I did the very same thing the other day and he launched himself headfirst into the bath fully clothed! I would take him in the bath with me, but then dd would want to come in too and I can't be bothered. I'll wait until dp gets home.

LackaDAISYcal · 07/10/2008 09:50

I have just been dorecting DD to give it "more" during her tantrum (in a film director stylee). she is less than amused

OP posts:
HollyWeen · 07/10/2008 09:51

I was thinking that daisy. We don't have a shower, so maybe the rain would be a good substitute!

HollyWeen · 07/10/2008 09:57

I really need to do some housework today. I am in the middle of a big clearout and my house is at the stage of being even more messy than before I started!

Laters, I am switching the pooter off now...I must be strong !
