Lucky - have a bumbo which she loves but she does seem to want to fling her self backwards!!

Gingeme- Lol at your DS4 turning dials!! Ds used to put his dirty washing in laundry basket and if we weren't careful he would knock heater so timer wouldn't come on. So you have to check dial each night once they are in bed LOL.

lucky - good luck with a heater and fireguard on freecycle, trying to think of where else would be good - car boot sales??
I think at A's stage you do just have to keep going back in to lie them down, no talking, no lights or anything, just in lie down, walk out, maybe a shh?

what i want to know is how can a baby sleep nearly 12 hours straight on monday night but by saturday is up from 1.30-2.30 and then up again at 5.15 ready to go for the day????
so am sitting downstairs with him while waiting for ds1 to wake and dh can take over, i'll be back to bed!
dh meant to be doing a 10K run this morning - then obv the rest of the day recovering, lol so not going to be much help, grr.

simpson - glad things are steadily making progress with dh

gingeme - 2 teething at the same time, eek! ds1 luckily got his last molars before ds1 arrived so he's done, for now!
i'm all for early teethers - tho yes, ds2 did bite this morning when i optimistically tried to feed him at 5.15 thinking he'd go back to sleep - ouch! def makes you more hesitant the next time....

madmouse - i know always feel like i'm boasting about his teeth, when in reality it's nowt to do with me is it?!

ds2 now trying to eat my leg or the laptop, best go!

Hope everyone had an ok ish night?

DD was ok last night but is her usual whingey self this morning. Am trying to cook a roast dinner too so not easy to deal with. I know there is nothing wrong with her because as soon as she gets attention its all smiles but she just wants attention ALL the time!!

Am hoping she will be easier when she can crawl but have visions of her crawling after me still whinging!! Oh well, this shall pass I keep telling myself!!

Oh der Simpson. Whingey baby can make for a rense day.
Anyone here on facebook? My sil talked me into joining yesterday because she says she has got in touch with quite a few of our old school friends, we went to school together before we bacame sil's, and I'm finding it all a bit confusing .
Not much planned for today. Just scrubbed mt bathroom and had a shower. Littleys sleeping. Off to Clown Town later.

Cazzy Eureka is a kids interactive museum on two floors even has a miniture marks and spencers , post office , bank and garage dc's love it! DD1 didn't want to come out of marks just like her mum!

Sorry to all those with heating issues but do try freecycle i got an oil filled radiator off there which we used for the caravan when we went away earlier this year and now use it in the conservatory as it's getting colder!

Well went out last night, hit loads of pubs, did lot's of dancing and singing, have sore throat now!
and rolled in at 2.45 this morning loved it but couldn't do it every week!

Crap sleep, incredibly runny nose here and a new tooth as well, I think he has 6 now.

Are you sure you're allwed to have a life Lily! DH did his famous chips and dips night last night but I had to go to bed at midnight. Been to a christening today. Great North Run was on, I did it in 2002 and that's probably the last time I was in good shape. I find it so emotional to watch!

PS I got my fire guard and stairgate via our SureStart - they were really good value I think.

We went to Clown Town today and I think everyone and his mother was there. They have a bit especialy for small babys and there seemed to be a rush of 6,7 and 8 month old babys. George had a whale of a time

Ange - Thats where we get ours which is why DP doesn't want us to buy another one. Just taking forever to get the safety check cos they're so backed up.

Hope everyone had a good night? DD was a little star and went to bed at 6pm and went through till 8am!!!

However she is battling BIG time for morning nap ATM...

DS at playgroup so have been able to get out and buy milk, nappies, paper etc without toddler saying "mummy, I'm tired, carry me!"

Lilyloo - Only 12hrs to go for bid for wolf!! Still winning!!

Morning simpson. Oh stop please! Not fare. George didn't have much dinner last night. Didn't have his night time bottle so woke at 2.30 am for a bottle so I knew he would wake early and he did. 6.13 am and sat cgatting for about half hour till dh got him up
ds3 has his first full time day at school today. I bet he's gonna be knackered when he comes home.
Been for an xray this morning. I have a hard lump under my knuckle of my toe next to my big toe. I have had a couple of months now and its realy starting to make my foot ache of an evening now. Will hear in a couple of weeks.
Oh well better get my floor mopped while the little ones are sleeping.

Making a real effort today with DD's eating and no more jars. Today for lunch she has had the left overs of our roast dinner from yesterdayt and some banana for pudding and she has LOVED it!!

Also have been outbid twice this morning for my plastic wolf Surely they can't be other kids out there as obsessed as DS!!

Have bid £2 and am winning Wondering if the seller can up the bid/price themselves if they get one bid IYSWIM as the other plastic animals all 50p etc but no bids yet, just seems bid of a coincidence that the ONE toy out of 100s they sell has 6 bids ALL the others have none

had a bit of a shocker with sleep last night with ds2 - up at 10.30 fgs. and didn't want feeding for a while, just screeching
then fed but didn't fall asleep
then gave calpol but still no sleep
brought him downstairs for a bit not knowing what i was doing really, then put him back in bed and he went back to sleep, dunno what was going on
parents have gone and dh is in london (boo ) so tonight i only have to worry about ds1 being woken and so far he's been really good about sleeping through crying so may go for cc later...

ds1 on the other hand slept 7-7.30 a record

simpson - hope you get the wolf! i often have doubts about other bidders...
am trying to get some bits off ebay myself at the mo for christmas. someone had the idea of helium balloons and i'm keen but need to find somewhere that does good ones - looked on the net and found ones for £20!!! i don't think so!

um, can't remember what else i was going to say so will stop there!

JKS don't pay that our local asda does them for couple pound each !
Sympathy dp away again this week and dd still doing 3 hours at a time!
