Have had too stop the co-sleeping as i cant be up there all night when got the house work etc... (and mumsnet ) and he falls out of bed. He does get back in though if he wakes. I miss not having his little warm body in the bed though. Once he is able to get in and out of bed safely then might change. He has also taken to laughing in his sleep.

Might well be a diff bug, when teethign i think they feel everything more. Hope she is feeling lots better soon x

Well my first day at work was fine - spent most of it chatting to workmate will have to concentrate more next week.
Ds2 was fine at nursery by all accounts, didn't sleep enough or drink enough ebm, otherwise OK. phew

D1 for some reason slept nearly 2 hours....went to bed ok at 7.30 instead of 7, but...up at 5.15
Will tell them today he CANNOT sleep there at all, i can't cope with the early starts. And we had just got back on track with 3 days in a row of after 6am.

Lily - keep going with the maths, when is the exam???

ds2 not crawling yet either, doing the rocking on all fours, and face-butting the carpet

ds1 off to nursery later, ds2 & i off to bf group, then home for a sleep

hope everyone doing cc/pupd/etc had a good night, will have to get some motivation to do it soon....

What a chatty bunch last night

Lilyloo - You are getting there with the maths...keep going! Handed my notice in on 29th Oct. Was sad as I had worked there for nearly 10yrs but think I have made the right decision

Does anyone else Lo only have one nap a day now??

DD seems to last till after lunch then sleep from about 1ish till 2.30 and thats it till she goes to bed. Its a bit of a shock to the system as I was used to her sleeping twice a day!!

Might go to a mother and toddler group this afternoon if I can be bothered

Ds starts pre school on thursday which I am now starting to stress about (my baby is growing up ) if he will cope ie he can't put his coat on/off by himself...but I guess they learn and he will watch the others. He will be the youngest in the class though as his birthday is the cutoff for starting now (or sept when he SHOULD have started)

JKS - Glad work went ok.

oh well Nathan was fine

dh started vomiting at 3.30am, seems to have stopped now, his sounds kept waking Nathan who then wanted feeding. At least he did sleep from 5.15-8.45

here's hoping that dh is just having a concentrated version of what Nathan and I have had and that he is not passing Nathan some other bug. Have sore hands from washing them (my hands that is) as I am kinda barrier nursing between the two.

feeling good about cc though, will continue, although I used every trick in the book to settle Nathan while dh sick

Just popping in. My mind is bursting as have just been trying to back up all our baby pictures and videos. DH tried a while back and now they are in a complete mess. I think I'm just going to start all over again.

MM - glad you had some success. I actually find CC easier in the middle of the night than comforting.

Last night's CC results were She went to sleep in under 20 minutes. She woke up at 2 and we did one check on her and then she went to sleep. She woke again at 5.30 and I fed her. She went to sleep and I put her back in her cot and she slept until 7.30. And she's napping now (I fed her to sleep for her nap). So, all good!

Didn't make it to toddler group. Did a buggy fit class this morning and was too tired

Thought I could sit down for a couple of mins and MN but DD has other ideas

Was just letting Aaliyah have naked time as is the usual around here and I didn't notice quick enough that she'd pooped!! SHE ATE IT!!!!! BLEURGH

Charlie can now point at nose, point at lights/aeroplane and leans forward to kiss/headbut you when you say kiss very cute

Awww nicky - we have kiss in the house now as well. complete with Tongues!! lol.

Aaliyah has also learnt cat and dog. Although the words sounds like ca and og she knows what we mean when we ask her to say the different ones. I had a ba last night when I asked if she wanted a bath!! lol

ds1 didn't sleep at nursery today, hooray, i may get to sleep past 5 am....fingers crossed.
he starts at pre-school tomorrow, just one morning a week until after Christmas, it's only round the corner so will be much better than the drive to nursery, though it starts earlier so we'll have to get moving in the morning

Can't believe we are all nearly one year on and thinking back to the huge bumps we had this time last year it's really flown!

Lilyloo - buggy fit is exercise class but using buggy ie some weeks (like today) we go for a walk, or stretching exercises, jogging etc with buggy (and obviously Lo in it!!)

DD has now also just woken up with all the commotion ho hum.....

Lilyloo - if it helps, I firmly believe you need to be nervous about exams in order to do well.

Simspon - I hope not too.

well dh has not chucked up since 7am yesterday, but is still queasy and unhappy. he thinks it is norovirus, I am not convinced, but anyway still hoping Nathan and I won't get it. we should be on our way to Holland on Friday for mil's 75th and we have three grandparents desperate to see Nathan.

To be fair neither Nathan nor I are showing signs so we may be lucky.

Nathan woke up 10mins after going in cot so did cc, he was asleep in less than 20mins and stayed that way until midnight. Then he fed, and again at 2 and at 4.30 . tried to refuse feed but he ate me alive.

he cried when put back in his cot at 5am, so cuddled him to sleep too tired for anything else.

how was your night susie? simpson, how about ds' ear?

Had a horrific night with DS and think I have had 2hrs sleep tops Finally got DS to sleep in my bed (Dh booted onto sofa) and DD started...Have never ever had a Dc in my bed and it was like sleeping next to a box of frogs!!

Taking DS to doc's at 4.30 today.

Well good new here. Ds4 spent his first morning at playgroup on his own and loved it but had a pooh about 2 mins before home time
Lillyloo I was thinking the same at my friends halloween party last week. This time last year George wasn't around.

MM - glad DH has turned the corner. I had Norovirus just after Sabela born. Not fun. I did have a very high temp. Does DH have one?

DD woke at 4 and didn't really settle. She had constipation though, whihc I didn't realise, poor dear.

I'm having one of those days when you can't lift mu heart out of my boots. Don't really know why. Grief seems to be something over which you have no control. Sometimes ok and sometimes really not. Oh well. Head down and get through I guess.

Had pants night here too and am so bored of revision but exam tom so hope it pays off don't feel at all confident though

Doc says DS has a slightly inflamed throat and ear but no sign of infection so no anti biotics. Just hoping he is well enough for tomorrow...He had a slight temp before bed so was calpoled/nurofened up.

Got a few more little bits for his stocking for Xmas today...an etchasketch, more track for his Thomas the Tank train set.

LaTrucha dh had a mild temperature which is normal for norovirus according to NHS, he also had headaches and bad vomiting (but the latter only for a few hours), no real diarrhea. so far Nathan and i do not have it and I kind of bank on the fact that we would have had it by now. dh is still not eating more than bits of yogurt and soup, i hope it improves tomorrow, as we are going to holland on Friday and he is the one who does the driving from Calais onwards at least...
