hello

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
madmouse · 18/10/2008 22:38

not typical wheat symptoms, bananas? I would think it would be a fruit or vegetable or an additive

dog would be very violent reaction, sneezing and wheezing

Lilly - I would have thought dog reaction would have showed up a while ago. Sounds like a food allergy but not sure what.

madmouse · 18/10/2008 22:39

lily you can take a picture when it is bad and take it to doctor.

Lilyloo · 18/10/2008 22:45

thanks ladies never thought of a pic!
I don't really know but it is gradually getting worse so am going to have to get to bottom of it! Her skin has been so sensitive from day 1 will have to keep food diary and see what it can be but can flare up pretty much as soon as she wakes and she only has toast fro breakfast!
Hope it's not dog but as you say prob would be sneezing etc!

Girlband going surely!

Lilyloo · 18/10/2008 22:47

Haven't changed washing powder recently but did start to use cheaper one a few months ago might be worth changing back to branded again Simpson!

simpson · 18/10/2008 22:56

Would definately take pic. I took mine on mobile and took them in to show doc. We gave Ds piriton but have just checked box and you can't give it under a yr old.

If it is washing powder it could take a good 3 or 4 wks after changing back for rash to totally go. Also doc said with rash caused by washing powder it is made worse when they are active, sweat reacts against it.

Only powder we can use is persil non bio.

Lucky - sorry to hear about Dp's work. What is he going to do now?

simpson · 19/10/2008 12:45

Hi

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Taking Ds to a 3rd birthday party this afternoon which should be fun as I am quite friendly with the mums.

House in total chaos as Ds has got the little boy from next door playing here and they have got out EVERY SINGLE TOY Ds possesses!!

Also just changed DD's bum and she had done a poo and she kept putting her hand on her dirty bum and wiping poo everywhere as I was desperately trying to clean her!! Yuk!!

nicky6 · 19/10/2008 14:29

simpson lol at poo.

Mrs mc dh so tired as just finished murder trial and was acquitted but been very stressful and long hours and starts new trial on monday.
My work diary seems to be panning out ok. 3 weeks before christmas, then 6 weeks in jan feb then me take 2 months off and 6 weeks or so after easter so hopefully it may work.

Am back to gym tomorrow to see if chalrie screams again very hard for poor mummy but persevering . How How how do you lose the last half stone - really need to else will have to buy new work suits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gingeme · 19/10/2008 15:01

Hi ladies. Sorry havn't been around much but have had a few pooly days re the boys
ds3 was poorly through the week with high temp. Weds night getting him ready for bed and noticed an all over rash. Took him to docs and was told it was a viral thing and would go on its own. Friday night I was up and down with ds5 as he picked it up and had very high temp too and rash. He's been very clingy and last night was terrible too
Thanks to Calpol and Nurofen all is calm today and ds3 is returning to school tomm.
Its all go in our house I tell ya.
Right will go and have a read through now.
Hope all are well.

LuckySalem · 19/10/2008 16:50

Sorry to hear you've had a few crappy days Ginge. Hope everything settles down for you now.

Simpson - Have no idea what he's doing. I think he's staying as he is for now but its starting already he was late home again today cos of work He was saying something about working for Aldi's (daywork for only a little less money) but he's not done a CV or anything yet so I dunno.....

Gingeme · 19/10/2008 17:55

Thankyou Lucky.
Just found tooth no7. At the bottom to the left of the front 2

LuckySalem · 19/10/2008 17:56

Still no teeth here. When should we start worrying?

Gingeme · 19/10/2008 19:32

Don't they'll come when they come. I know friends whos baby have reached their 1st birthdays and still have a mouth of gums

simpson · 19/10/2008 20:12

Lucky - Ds didn't get his first tooth till he was 14mths!! His nick name was "gummy" and I have to confess it still slips out now sometimes DD no teeth either yet.

LuckySalem · 19/10/2008 20:17

Well as long as I don't need to worry then i'll stop worrying. She's showing NO ideas of teething either so nevermind... lol

nicky6 · 19/10/2008 20:28

no teeth here either

Lilyloo · 19/10/2008 20:32

Ladies hope all ok just quick one not much happened here today and watching strictly come dancing just keeping up

madmouse · 19/10/2008 21:02

lucky she canot be advanced in everything pushy mum let the poor lamb teeth in her own time . maybe she is an easy teether and she will just bite you one day and you will go jikes that is sharp!

all well and calm here. dh preached his first all age sermon (which he finds harder than ones for adults with lots of clever thinking in) - some manic story with a huge fluffy dog (borrowed) who was feeling particularly fluffy today but his friends the bear (mine), the little dog and the cat (Nathan's) did not understand. He did great and it was really funny.

off to do some anally retentive list making as I am having a very busy week and atm keep on ending up places without bibs snacks beakers and spare clothes. no good as nathan has a very sore neck area from drooling and stuff. It seemed to clear up but looks horrid again

night all

ps lucky sorry about the work mess. sounds really unfair.

OP posts:
AngeChica · 19/10/2008 21:27

Lucky the longer you are spared from the teething bother the better IMO.

dh and friends got plasterboard up this weekend so at least no hole in ceiling any more. Have been playing on the Ikea kitchen planner this weekend, but we're a long way from that yet. Yes that's why I was so annoyed about the sick as the living room is the only presentable room left in the house apart from DS's bedroom!

Wish my dad could come up and help but mum still not so good, has been mostly confined to bed since her collapse because her BP has been sky high, and he's having to look after her. This is when I feel a long way away from home. .

have a good week all.

MrsMcJnr · 19/10/2008 22:03

Lucky ? sorry to hear that about DP?s work good luck with the kittens and mum

Poor DD lilyloo

Hey Simpson

Nicky ? wow! Busy schedule your DH has. I?m the same weight now as before DS but my middle is much fatter

Gingeme ? hope your boys feel much better soon.

Angechica ? hope you mum is a lot better soon x

simpson · 19/10/2008 22:08

Lucky - how old are the kittens now? Bet they are REALLY cute!!

LuckySalem · 19/10/2008 22:10

They are 7 weeks old now and once they have had their jabs they go to their new homes.

The rescue reckon we'll be keeping them for another 2 weeks then the 2 with homes will go on.
Just need to find homes for the other 2 and especially mum.

simpson · 19/10/2008 22:38

How have they got on with your own cats?

Went to a birthday party today which was really good fun but they have 3 cats and DH hates them so he kept having to leave room or garden depending on where they were!!!

LuckySalem · 19/10/2008 22:43

Poor DH..... Everything better there then?

The cats are fine with ours. Mum is very hissy with them and Salem will back away but Lucky stays firm till she backs down. So we have a hierarchy or Lucky then Princess then Salem (which is as I suspected it would happen) The kittens love our cats. We hear the odd hiss from them but it seems ok - Lucky curled up with the little black kitten the other day which Salem wasn't too happy about till he decided he'd join in! Was really cute.
