Aaaarg pcf so little I love it.

theSuburbanDryad · 20/10/2008 16:02

Hey PCF - great news, and love the picture!

My bump is dancing today...it's got to the bit where i can see it moving under the skin. Like aliens. Very weird.

Lizzzombie · 20/10/2008 17:28

Ahh - little blob - very cute! [wink[ - PCF, I've never looked at your photos before, how adorable did Max look at your wedding! And Alex is going to be a bit of a heartbreaker when he's older! Very cute! x

Lizzzombie · 20/10/2008 17:29

ps

Does anyone elses DC not really use cutlery yet?
Sometimes DJ does, but alot of the time...like now for instance, he is stuffing baked beans into his mouth using his hand. I thought we'd be over this stage by now...

theSuburbanDryad · 20/10/2008 17:40

Lizzz - Z varies tbh. If it's something he really likes (like baked beans! or spaghetti bolognaise) he'll use his hands as it's more efficient! I wouldn't worry about it too much tbh. I'm told kids go through phases - my friend's ds was BLW'd and used cutlery from about 13 months, but now, aged 3 (4 in Jan) has almost totally regressed to using his fingers! If you think about it, they'll be using cutlery at some point, even if he doesn't do it now!

Great news PCF - lovely scan pic

I know what you mean re poo - J did a code brown in the bath tonight!!

Lizz - J uses a fork and a spoon quite efficiently

Must go, chinese is here....nom nom

Reggiee · 20/10/2008 19:47

Evening all.

PCF I was thinking about you today - great news about your scan, and ahhhh at the pic. Do you think you'll be able to relax now? I'm a bit more laid back about it now I've seen the lo, but will no doubt start getting worried before the 20 weeks scan. Impressed you have a date for your 20 week scan. You finding out the sex btw?

I think UD knows/suspects the sex but is keeping it quiet. Have either of you started thinking about names?

Wilkie hope your Chinese was nice. What did you have? How was the speedboat?

Lizz P does use cutlery but prefers either her hands (gets things in quicker) or is too lazy so hands me her fork/spoon to load it up for her to shovel in. In fact, the messier the food the more likely she is to use her hands now I think about it

2H how was yesterday with three boys to run round after?

Good weekend indeed. FIL couldn't say anything initially when we told him as he was too choked - so sweet.

Dh is currently watching a really shite film - Mother of Tears - or some such supernatural horror crap. I keep looking up to see lots of gore. Urgh.

vinorouge · 20/10/2008 20:49

PCF - great news about the scan, so reassuring to see. Hope you get some wipes pronto

Feel as though I haven't really got anything interesting to say at the moment so although not always posting am reading most days. Although very exciting - Ellen can say her name now and say Sylvie too. She has suddenly become a copycat and repeated bu88er when DH said it on sat morning. She uses cutlery quite neatly most of the time.

Lizz - my local clarks concession in mcare is closing down as a proper clarks shop opening in same retail park so hopefully that will be more accurate measuring. E's shoes are ok for another 6 weeks so hooray hopefully they will last 3 months as well.

Wilkiepedia · 20/10/2008 21:25

Reg - how come I know what UD is having??? I thought it was common knowledge

I can't stop trumping - really not nice, just seem to have a lot of wind ATM

Vino - PMSL at E. Ha ha, keep expecting J to swear at some point.

This made me a bit DH was putting J to bed tonight and he said 'Did you have a nice time at nursery today?' to which J replied 'Yes, kicked Cecile'. DH said 'What? You kicked Cecile? Did they tell you off?' J then said 'Yes, naughty boy. Kicked Cecile.' Little sod. It's 'parent's evening' tomoz night so I shall be asking if he did kick her!!

eandh · 21/10/2008 07:52

Loads of postsso from memory

PCF - glad scan went well snd lol at dancing baby

Wilkie - of chinese (although we had one at il's saturday night and as there was 10 of us we ordered £60 worth so looked like a banquet!!) Hows the job going now?

Rgee - are you finding out this time, I weighed up the proc and cons of vbac and went for elective section (which was good as H was transverse so would have ended up with a section anyway) one of the reasons i wanted a vbac was because I fancied a homebirth but was told I couldnt have one because of previous section so that swung the elective section for me

Lizz - ummm can't remember what yopu posted except did you sort the house?

Laughalot - text you in a minute

UD - I know what you are having too! (and book is in post at last!!!)

Can LTH and shimmer please email me their addresses for secret santa and anyone who hasnt mentioned what they like/dislike might be worth doing so

I sold the cotbed on ebay at the weekend and people came to collect it last night (grandparents buying a cot for their house) and i felt a bit at that was the last baby item I had in the house, I remember coming home with Ellie and laying her in there and how tiny she looked,oh well never mind at least no more night feeds

Wilkiepedia · 21/10/2008 12:44

I haven't added my SS likes and dislikes: NO smellies, socks (size 5), nail polish (bright not pale), Nicci French book 'The Red Room', chocolate of any sort (except mint choc), chunky rings (size small)

HTH!

Lizzzombie · 21/10/2008 14:36

Eah - Tunbridge Wells? Would you recommend shopping there on a Sunday, or is it all closed on Sundays? Very at no more babies in your household...but hope you got a good £ for the cot bed!

Lizzzombie · 21/10/2008 14:40

ps. Just had to link you all with this got one for DJ at the weekend, they do a girls one too, with hearts on it. It lurvely as its not nylonish polyester polar fleece, its like a big duvet suit. Had to buy the 2-3 year old one though as the 18-24 month was too small, and DJ is not very big at all, so they must come up a bit small.

eandh · 21/10/2008 15:59

I got £25 for cot which was my BIN price (it cost £199 but to be fair it has been well used )

Not sure about T Wells on a Sunday as I tend to go midweek (normally go with my Mum as hate driving there) will ask my Mum when shes home tonight as she knows if its open on a SUnday (her and my Dad often pop off somewhere on a Sunday to have a look around) In fact Mum and Dad are taking Ellie to see Aladdin pantomine at the Royal Assembly Halls T Wells on 28th Dec!

theSuburbanDryad · 21/10/2008 21:01

If anyone wants to know what I'm having they can pop onto FB or MSN and I'll tell them! Just don't want it to be common MN knowledge yet IYSWIM.

We are having Chinese tonight, I've been craving seaweed for ages!

laughalot · 22/10/2008 10:30

theSuburbanDryad · 22/10/2008 10:35

laughalot · 22/10/2008 13:34

Eah knows she has bl**dy kept that quiet. Dont you want me as a friend

theSuburbanDryad · 22/10/2008 18:22
