Pink, i have a boring question i need help with..... A member of staff is due to complete her probation period in 3wks and has asked for a meeting (never had this before) and she wants to put together a personal dev plan..... where the hell do i start

largeginandtonic · 23/09/2008 12:04

Well done Master!!!! How was it?

The doc has asked to see us now

Gah!

JamInMyWellies · 23/09/2008 12:07

TMAM, it was quite shocking actually all about the different gangs the minguki (??) and whether beheadings etc are down to them or is it the police and lots of shots of absoloutley awful things in Nairobi also a bit about the glue sniffing problems. Really quite horrible but compelling viewing. I am sure you would have had very strong views on it have a look on the sky website see if they have a watch online facility.

Themasterandmargaritas · 23/09/2008 12:16

It was fine, LG&T, but it wasn't her in the end!! Oh bugger, I think the doc has to report cases of it to the PH people so probably needs to see it.

Yes Jam, the Mungiki, they are quite scary and if you should be caught in one of their illegal roadblocks then heaven knows what could happen. But we are quite sheltered in our lovely leafy green burbs where the sun always shines (digs head even further into the sand).

Good morning! Nothing new here except the fact that I'm TIRED. I've been so busy these past few days, and today will be no different. Oh well, at least I'm accoplishing things.

Can I just say that I didn't really think anyone wore Oakleys anymore. They are very 1989. I remember they were all the rage when I was in grammar school, but not so much in about 20 years.

TillyScoutsmum · 23/09/2008 12:28

Hello all - I'm back from hols. Couple of swimwear shots of Til on profile

LG&T - congrats on girl. Sorry B is poorly

Jenny - wot no pink ?!

Hope everyone else is well. Thanks for the book recommendations. I got through 4 on hols - it was bliss

Jennyusedtobepink · 23/09/2008 12:44

AM - have emailed you separately re the PDP.

Hi Tilly - She is so cute!!

TMAM - what have you done that I now need to do? Not the dreaded MMR? Am too paranoid to book it.

largeginandtonic · 23/09/2008 13:08

A SMEAR pink.

No off you go...

Jennyusedtobepink · 23/09/2008 13:11

Oh. I've not done that either.

MmeJaffaB · 23/09/2008 14:16

So cute Tilly. Sounds like you had a relaxing time from the book reading.

Jenny, you really must do BOTH,

lg&t for the walking blister boy. When do you go to the dr's? You'll be fine.

Jennyusedtobepink · 23/09/2008 14:28

OK I've booked the MMR. If she gets autism...

largeginandtonic · 23/09/2008 14:37

Well done Pink, now the smear too please. Look what happened to me! If that doesnt spur you on i will drive up and shout till you do it.

I want a book holiday

B;ardy AM is off to Dubai >

TillyScoutsmum · 23/09/2008 15:32

Yes Pink - I will join with the nagging fingers. Had mine a few weeks ago and just had the all clear (have had laparoscopy before, so was very relieved). It only takes a minute and I was too busy watching Tilly taking her shoes and socks off in the buggy to notice to much. The embarrassment factor almost disappears as well once you've gone through childbirth imho

Go Pink Go !

Jennyusedtobepink · 23/09/2008 15:34

Although I had a section Til, so was spared most of the embarrassment. I'll book it, I will.

Had a moment yesterday. A friends newborn dd has the same hip condition as L. You should have heard me, I was so knowledgeable and reassuring. I wish I'd known me when L was diagnosed. Ha ha.

TillyScoutsmum · 23/09/2008 16:14

Ah - still childbirth though with plenty of prodding and poking and general messing with your ladybits

Jennyusedtobepink · 23/09/2008 16:15

Ah yes, the 'cleaning' and the catheter spring to mind.

Anyhoo!

I am at the time of day where I start wondering in which church porch I will abandon my children.

I am going to try to catch up later.

Well done PJ on booking the MMR. Go on book the smear!!

lg&t, busy morning for you as usual then. Glad you won't have to have eyes in all orifaces though.

MmeJaffaB · 23/09/2008 17:31

TYG, you'll have more luck catching up if you choose a chruch door way fast. I shouldn't though on either task.
How you are doing really?

It's the normal here. Food, kk's, numpty dh's, food, norty cupboards, poorly children, food, work, porn traybakes, pumpkins, goodness me's, Holidays oh and porn food. I beg of you, see nothing changes.

JamInMyWellies · 23/09/2008 17:35

PJ I had to have a colposcopy too BOOK YOUR SMEAR but well done on the MMR I am putting Archies eating paint efforts down to him becoming artistic after his MMR.

TYG am joining you on the leave them on a church doorstep have just been to nearly every shoe store in a 20 mile radius and cant get any shoes that fit his chubby feet he will be wearing crocks to the wedding on saturday!

Tilly lovely photos how long till the wedding?

TillyScoutsmum · 23/09/2008 17:40

About 9 weeks I think - end of November. I thought I was organised but still need to sort rings, cake, hair, make up and lots of other bits and bobs (and we're fast running out of spare weekends). Tilly's third flowergirl dress arrived this morning - so far one was crap, another was too small and this one will hopefully be ok. She looks very cute in it anyway

I think I'd be struck by lightening if I ever went anywhere near a church door

Themasterandmargaritas · 24/09/2008 11:52

TSM, what I really want to know, is did the glorious shoes fit?
