all good here thanks

Hello ladies!

Got back from our long weekend in dublin on monday night and in typical style around here seems like our bums haven't stopped movin' since! Had a great time, loved the autumny weather even if it did pour down first thing on saturday morning. Promptly bought a pair of winter shoes and wellies for N and two brollies and then it didn't rain again all weekend

oh well we needed the shoes for N anyway, he has a 5.5G! and tbh I am a bit worried he'll have outgrown them by the time he needs to wear them again. Think he'll be in his sandals for another month or so at least. Got off the plane in mallorca again and it felt like someone had left the heating on full blast. bah! I'm ready for autumn! It's hot and bloody humid here, you know that way when you feel all clammy and muggy? Not nice.

Sorry you aren't moving just yet Pesha (although I've only just found out you're moving at all which is a - YAY! - right?) but hopefully you can take advantage of a pause in the mayhem ofpacking?

Off to post somewhere - employment? Chat? about part time working hours. N is so clingy these days it is driving me BONKERS and I am counting down the days to be part time in the hope it will chill him the hell out

Hopefully sneak on tomorrow morning at work, have a great night girls!

Evening all!

Happy Birthday Jake I didn't realise he was 5 so soon - only 3.5 months after B.

Bramshott, what tiny feet Bless her

Mav, glad you enjoyed Dublin.

Wow to all the 5.5 feet. K is a 4F which I think is standard.

How are you all?

We need a new thread - we are finally over 500!

All ok here. K been a bit of a pain today; not helped by the fact she only slept for half an hour. Went to aerobics this evening having not been for 7 weeks, and felt quite ill! Came home to find dh had cooked a lovely spag bol with veg picked from the garden!

Right, need to search cheap holidays for half terms - we need some sun!!!!!

morning ladies

AngeG · 11/09/2008 09:27

Morning

Thanks for the birthday messages for Jake. We didn't do anything yesterday apart from open the remainder of his pressies before school. We went bowling with all the family at the weekend though and did the birthday cake thing.

I hadn't realised Jake and B were so close in age SOL. How lovelt of DH to have cooked dinner. Hope you find somewhere nice for a holiday!

Morning Eddas Hope you get some work done today!

Nice to 'see' you Maveta and good to see you have your old name back!

Nothing exciting here. Off to try and find some kind of a rain mac today. I've got a waterproof coat but it's too warm and I'm boiling by the time I get back from the school run! Also going out for a work lunch today which DH dumped on me last night when he got home at 7pm! Had to rush round trying to find someone to look after Izzy. Still it will be nice to get out without kids!

Hope everyone has a good day...

We need a new thread where is POTC?

Maveta · 11/09/2008 10:03

Morning! late start to the day, forgot I had a doctors appt where he confirmed that yes my ears are blocked and have been since a bad cold I had almost 2 months ago have been driving dh mad with my near-deafness and constant 'whaaat?'-ing.

Better get on with it...

Oh POTC you pram-hugger - I have posted a q in products about a pram I am trying to id, you might know it??

cazboldy · 11/09/2008 11:51

Charlie has gone to playgroup on his own for the first time!

I am and feeling a bit odd really!

Have just realised that this is the first time it has ever been just Molly and me!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 11/09/2008 12:36

Will go take a look Maveta!

This working from home thing is taking ages to get right, I know it'll be ok once we get all the technology problems sorted, and I get more organised. But for now, I keep ending up having to go in to sort things I've forgotten! Off back over there this afternoon I think. Grrr!!!!

Bramshott · 11/09/2008 14:23

Real nappy users - can anyone help me with my 'wraps that fit snugly around the legs' dilemma here ?? Without having to get a whole new nappy system and it costing me £££!

A quick one.

Bramshott. I am having exactly the same problem with K - her nappies are really loose around her legs and we have had "rabbit droppings" luckily on the hard floor!

I am a DISPOSABLE nappy user though, so who can recommend me the snuggest nappy???

Ah Luce, so conversely if you have them slanting inwards it tightens it up? Have realised that I need to have a vague idea what O weighs if I am to buy any new wraps!
